I remodeled an entire bathroom in my house just by watching YT videos. I already had an electrical background (although it was low voltage, EET major) but taught myself how to wire my entire bathroom; GCFI, potlights, vanity light, timer switch to a blower fan. Taught myself structural repair because I had rotted out floor joists. Taught myself plumbing; repositioned the shower, toilet and the sink. Taught myself how to mud drywall. Taught myself how to do tile. Taught myself how to do wainscotting. You should be a teacher of construction as well. I also noticed what looked like the owner helping you out as simple laborer. If so, I applaud you for recruiting his help. Thank you.

Nice work 🎉 May I ask the difference in cost between that vinyl siding vs clap lap in wood or composite? And what would the difficulty be in the trusses being open in the middle with them higher to allow for an upper room? Great videos!!

I like cathedral style roof trusses . Makes garage seem larger and makes room for a car lift
Maybe they are going to drywall, and lower ceilings are easier to heat if they go that route
But you'd have to center the lift so you wouldn't have a two car garage then.
