Hudson and Woods are basically your 2 best friends who never get along but love spending time with you, so they put up with each other
Not true, woods hates the CIA along with Hudson.

Friends in school be like…
cia allowance is the shit
I had friend that was really gay and another that was super conservative and religious
They acted a lot like these two
Woods having a problem with Hudson? So just another day for the two of them.
Hudson really just got on Woods' nerves every time the two interacted. And he honestly got on my nerves too, especially during Cold War. Still doesn't make his death at the hands of Menendez any less painful.
No matter what he does, Hudson is still my favorite character, and a badass one too. 0:06 2:24 4:10 😅
@@alvinpainap8102 Hudson in S.O.G. was such a badass. Even with some of the more controversial stuff he did, the stuff with Operation Greenlight in Cold War for example, I still like him a whole like. Him putting on his shades as the Black Ops guitar riff plays will always be some of my favorite moments in all of Call of Duty period. 😎

CW Hudson and BO1/BO2 Hudson seem like completely different characters. A perfect example is in CW when Hudson snarkily tells Woods to "not get any bright ideas". In BO2, even though it's clear they don't like each other, at least Woods doesn't like Hudson, he is a lot more compassionate towards Woods. He goes out of his way to rescue him, even calls him "brother" several times, doesn't push further when Woods doesn't let him interrogate Kravchenko, etc. Maybe CW was just a tough time for him, dealing with the stress of the world possibly going to shit because of his own incompetence (the stolen nuke), that would explain why he's much more unpleasant than any other time we see him. I still think he was misrepresented; BO1 Hudson was a badass, while CW Hudson is like that one overly strict teacher that everyone hated.
The woods and Hudson problems are better than modern CODs

Hudson: “Jason Hudson, C.I.A.”
Woods: **Looks at Mason, his face is saying: “Who is this clown?”**
Despite Woods not liking Hudson, the latter still went out of his way to help rescue him. Guy was shady, but we can’t say he didn’t have some compassion.
Hudson was probably one of the cleanest people in the CIA. Irl most CIA agents are completely devoid of compassion, so they can do really fucked up things with zero hesitation. I've heard many stories of them trying to recruit actual sociopaths or even sadists. Hudson definitely isn't either of those. Yes, he does bad things, but he does them for a good purpose, not just for personal gain. If that was his only motivating factor, he would have given up on Mason in BO1 as quickly as his superiors.

YOU CAN SEE MENENDEZ WALKINK TOWARDS THE HORSE BARN THING first time i seen that

@@robertf.atrozskin3596WOODS!
@@neofulcrum5013that always bothered me. When you play as him he's in such a hurry, but from Mason's perspective it looks like he's taking his sweet ass time. Definitely doesn't make sense for someone whose family could be in immediate danger.
Woods is just too straightforward. He doesn't like the way Hudson take care of things.
While Hudson is a sort of guy that wants to do things in a secret way to preserve the integrity of people even though some of them are corrupt, he likes to play the CIA game. Woods just doesn't take any thing that seems to be wrong and unreliable. He's a pragmatic man. A very loyal and reliable guy. The one that doesn't let you behind anywhere, a true friend. And he doesn't make the effort to be more calm. He's a hothead.
Hudson in my opinion, redeemed himself in black ops 2. That last act lf courage of giving himself up to be tortured and killed in order to save his friends.
But Woods is not a saint as well. He lost his shit and killed Josefina.
Even though what Woods did was wrong, it's also completely understandable and you can't really blame him for that. How do you think you would react if you saw the man that slow tortured your friends in front of you, and then threw you into a container with their rotting corpses for several weeks? I'd instead blame whoever approved Woods to take part in that mission. In real life someone with such a short temper as Woods would never get approved for any secret op.
@@bydlakbolszewik847 you're completely right. But I don't justify he loosing his mind. He had to work that. Of course we're talking about a game that has its plot to be done. But just like you mentioned, he shouldn't have been called for that mission to begin with.
But Woods also killed Mason (canon). He should have realized that it was all a setup. It was really obvious. Like, he even remembers what Kravchenko told him at Afghanistan, twice. And also, why would you shoot a target without getting his face identified. And Hudson wasn't realiable at the point either. His temper is really broken sometimes.

One nitpick that I have against Black Ops 2 is when Woods says to David that he "should've smoked Hudson in 'Nam". I've always thought it sounded weird because Woods go out and helps save Hudson's life in Vietnam when he got knocked out at the beginning of the mission. The line Woods should've said was "I should've let him die in 'Nam" or "I never should've saved him in 'Nam."
Woods barely knew Hudson in Nam, that and Woods was a marine before BO1, and marines never leave anyone behind, even if they don't like them. He probably wasn't even thinking straight when talking to Section, so he wouldn't even remember that he saved Hudson's life.
My vision of Hudson changed over time. And changed when he calls Woods “brother”.
RIP Hudson, Mason, and Soap
Press F to pay respects for them

I never understand why he blames Hudson for Mason's death. I mean, what could he do in that situation? His hands are pretty much tied and it's a lose lose situation anyway. Like Kravchenko said, Menendez obviously had his men on CIA and had them kidnap David and Hudson. Shouldn't he blame those traitors? Hell, shouldn't he blame himself for making their dispute this deep by losing his shit during the mission and killing Josephina, the civilian? I do like Woods but when it comes to Hudson, he becomes a total hypocrite.
He blames himself. Hudson just ends up taking the flak
When black ops 6 releases, we all know that Hudson will not get involved due to his sacrifice from Menedez. Or perhaps may get a reference about Hudson and Mason from Woods about them. Since both are unalive. Hope we get to see some more David Mason and Menedez in bo6.
Maybe we could see another flashback with them. Something that seemed insignificant at the time, but is relevant to BO6.
Woods literally has big problem with Hudson even though Hudson sacrifices himself
Cuz he mad at himself that he never really messed with Hudson and when he finally sacrificed himself woods feels bad
Hudson was a mole he had it coming
@@Infamouschef_yeah against his will. To protect david

My perspective on Jason Hudson in the "Call of Duty: Black Ops" series paints a nuanced picture of a character often seen through the lens of duty and sacrifice. Indeed, Hudson is portrayed as a complex figure, deeply committed to his country and comrades despite the harsh methods he sometimes employs. Here’s a more detailed breakdown of the points I want to mention:
1. **Interrogating Mason**: Hudson’s decision to interrogate Alex Mason was driven by a desperate need to prevent the catastrophic Nova 6 attacks. This difficult choice underscores his willingness to make personal sacrifices for the greater good, demonstrating his commitment to national security.
2. **Relationship with Mason**: Hudson’s care for Mason is evident despite the tough exterior. He chose to support Mason and sought to help him, reflecting his underlying compassion. His refusal to eliminate Mason, despite Weaver’s concerns, shows his belief in Mason’s potential for recovery and his inherent goodness.
3. **Emails and Concerns**: The concern Hudson shows for Mason in various communications highlights his empathetic side. These details enrich his character, showing that he wasn’t merely a cold operative but someone who valued his comrades’ well-being.
4. **Sacrifice in Black Ops II**: Hudson’s ultimate sacrifice to save Frank Woods and David Mason further cements his status as a hero. This selfless act demonstrates his unwavering loyalty and willingness to put others before himself, a hallmark of his character.
5. **Comparison to Adler**: Unlike Adler in "Black Ops Cold War," who is portrayed as more manipulative and morally ambiguous, Hudson's actions, though sometimes severe, are rooted in a clear sense of duty and honor.
In summary, Jason Hudson’s character is multifaceted, embodying the traits of a dedicated and selfless hero who faced incredibly tough decisions. His legacy within the "Call of Duty" series is one of sacrifice, loyalty, and a deep commitment to his country and comrades. This man may have a cold demenour but he is not as manipulative like Adler in call of duty cold war

Hate how they totally criminalized Hudson in Cold War. Like that’s all he is. A punching bag for the rest of the team. He’s not cool, calculating and sharp as in blops 1/2. And I hate woods acting. Fucking melodrama we do t need it. God Cold War was cringe
Cold War butchered every reoccurring character:
Mason doesn't sound like Mason and barley looks his age.
Woods is purely just a joke in Cold War despite having serious moments in the BO1 and BO2 campaign (Russian Roulet, getting his knees blown out, and retelling stories to David)
Hudson like you mentioned is a punching bag for everyone and is turned into a semi-villian and acted like no one respected him.
I think they forgot who the characters were while making the game.
Forgot how bad bo2 Hudson sounded
Wow the men who got blown up by frags
Can you make a video about secret things and differences of the MW and BO games on the Nintendo Wii?

Bo1 Hudson was my favorite character in the entire game. Bo2 Alex Mason becomes my favorite. Hudson is still a good character but I think he's better when you know he's deep down a good guy but has to keep his secrets for the cia
so is hudson good or bad?
He’s too old for having problems
woods has some points hudson wasn't a trustworthy man but he wasn't the mole in the cia
Oh my god, now I realized, now the “mole” that you hear about in bo6 is a problem. But they are also connecting another thing that has flew above most of our heads is that when you find the CIA memo in Time and Fate mission, the description of the mission then says “potential mole in the CIA”. So now it’s like it’s all coming back to us now, also since that bo6 is happening after bo2 in the past. It is just some pretty cool that I just thought of. What do you think? Pretty cool right!
