My question is concerning the safety harness. Everyone talks about using the safety harness, but what happens if you happen to fall out, and you are hanging in mid air from the harness? That sounds like it could still be a big problem. Maybe a worse problem then if you had no harness at all.
I don't use wing nuts because idiots can untighten them with their hands and then steal the ladder stabilizer bar. So I use regular nuts and tighten them with a wrench.
Sorry guys, I was able to set up my Novix aluminum ladder stand by myself, multiple times last year. Rock solid, and much easier than what I just saw here. No, I have no affiliation with Novix, just my personal two cents worth.
