Your description of the genesis of two nations theory and formation of Pakistan and routine of things that followed thereafter in Pakistan is revealing and eye opening. As an Indian and a Hindu Untouchability was one of the worst practice in our culture. However we worked very hard to remove this practice. Today our constitution was written by Dr. B.R.Ambedkar who was from lower cast people from Lower cast have reservations in education, government jobs etc.
Please Don't forget Jinnah himself was a converted muslim and how he was treated in Pakistan is not a secret. Second if hindus treated muslims as untouchables, muslims till date use term Qafir for all non muslims. So both sides are to blame and both sides suffered losses
@@ammirza8323 all our ancestors are hindus or sikhs. Most of them converted to islam because of Cruel muslim invaders who ruled over India for few centuries.

good that partition happened, in hindsight it was a good decision. still so many poor and uneducated muslims chose to stay back, though the entire upper and middle class moved to Pakistan. many did not have the money to buy a rail ticket to Pakistan. and some were close to their ancestors' properties and graves in UP/CP/Bihar, 3 brothers moved and 1 stayed back in lucknow to take care of property; for many in UP/CP/Bihar, Pakistan was like a desert where camels ran.

If division or partition happened in the name of religion, why was India not termed as a Hindu nation?? And why only Pakistan got coined as Islamic state?
With due respect sir there were such things that time but it wasn't due to hate but food choice what I have heard. Muslims and Dalits used to eat non veg foods and butcher animals which non-muslims and non dalits didn't do that time. So there were such issues as non muslim faith restricts non veg and blood etc. Now people are educated and the Indian constitution and laws avoid such things. Anyways I loved hearing you ❤️ from India.
@@sandipbhattacharyya7540 it was indeed. Human civilization is slightly slow in Asian countries. If we go back a thousand years from today think of the status of women in society, cast , religious division etc. That time there was monarchy and societies were divided basis the class/cast etc for eg: King used to be Rajpoot, Brahmins were in education, While other cast were in service which made them make low progress and yes social bias were there. Now we are no more ruled by King so all rules are based constitution and things are equal for everyone. Mentally it takes centuries to get rid of such bloody things 😀
Finally, they ended up creating separate wells to drink water from hundreds of miles away rather than allowing each community to drink from their respective wells. It's just cunning ploy some people cookedup to get a separate state based on religion and conveniently blame someone else.
Brother it's still in practice having non veg and even higher caste Hindus are major consumers... I doesn't make any sense for hatered strechted to division..... Partition was political planned move executed perfectly on the cost of innocent Hindu Muslim lives

You have reservation power. The government has provided you lots of facilities. If you can't utilize these all and are still crying then it's your fault only.
There were no Balochs in the so called Baloch regiment as Jinnah attacked the Kalat state to own it for minerals like gold and copper. Kalat was not given to so called Pakistan. The sheer origin was decided in the UK by SOB Churchill and SOB Chamberlain under the divide and rule policy to keep India at war and avoid another Japan from rising.

Likewise if Indian freed Kashmir under UNSCR 47 (1948) 😮 and stopped persecuting Muslims and gave them their right to be equal citizens, and stopped funding terrorists groups in Baluchistan and trying to discredit Pakistan then sure we can get along. India act like a creepy guy who can’t get over the fact that we didn’t want to be with you.
If U are a good muslim pls answer why you killed millions of Bengali Hindus in great calcutta killings in 1946. Hazrat bal fiasco which happened in kashmir but u killed Bengali Hindus in collaboration with fake liberal bangladeshi muslims in 1964. Then again in 1971 in Khulna after which Hindus became minority in Khulna.

What was the plight of Hindus and Sikhs in Pakistan during partition? They were also butchered by Muslims. It is not a one sided story that this old man is describing.
It was partition of Bengal in 1905 which led to creation of Muslim league by Khwaja Samiullah, a Bengali, in 1906. The seed of communal divide were sown by Bengali Muslims, which ultimately led to partition of India in 1947.

Sweet memories n very touchy stories of partition which cannot be forgotten especially those who lost there loved one's .would that this partition would have peacefully without blood shed.
Your description of the genesis of two nations theory and formation of Pakistan and routine of things that followed thereafter in Pakistan is revealing and eye opening. Government grabbing happened in india almost on the same lines. But your description certifies that A WELL READ PERSON IS A WELL PERSON AND THAT KNOWLEDGE OPENS BROADENS THE VISTAS OF MIND AND BODY.
Very nice Honesty and efficiency both required

As an Indian and a Hindu Untouchability was one of the worst practice in our culture. However we worked very hard to remove this practice. Today our constitution was written by Dr. B.R.Ambedkar who was from lower cast people from Lower cast have reservations in education, government jobs etc.

But caste discrimination is still alive

Please Don't forget Jinnah himself was a converted muslim and how he was treated in Pakistan is not a secret.
Second if hindus treated muslims as untouchables, muslims till date use term Qafir for all non muslims.
So both sides are to blame and both sides suffered losses

killing of Muslim still continued in India and there is no Jinnah factor today
how did his father manage to flee from jalianwala bagh it was surrounded by high walls from all sides with a single nerrow entery/exit lane blocked by british soldiers (position from where they were firing on the crowd) because of no escape route people jumped in the well present in the ground and died but his father managed to escape while others couldn't strange
Might be that his father was spy of bristish army and escaped before firing started ...also he says about baloch army which is complete lies ....balochistan was forcefully occupied by pakistan in 1956 till then it was independent nation ...so how come baloch army would have participated in transferring pakistani mohajirs .....babu phek to rahe hain ....

What a lovely person. We would have been very happy if Pakistan has developed a politically & economically strong nation.
good that partition happened, in hindsight it was a good decision. still so many poor and uneducated muslims chose to stay back, though the entire upper and middle class moved to Pakistan. many did not have the money to buy a rail ticket to Pakistan. and some were close to their ancestors' properties and graves in UP/CP/Bihar, 3 brothers moved and 1 stayed back in lucknow to take care of property; for many in UP/CP/Bihar, Pakistan was like a desert where camels ran.

Thanks,God bless you & who ever else is reading this.
Great personality heard about him alot from my mother.
If division or partition happened in the name of religion, why was India not termed as a Hindu nation?? And why only Pakistan got coined as Islamic state?
Indians were cheated and betrayed in the name of religion.
As usual playing victim card you will never tell what you did with the Hindu and sikh population in lahore
My dad was from Lahore anarkali bazar. He is 85 and lives in Amritsar.
I wish old days once again come back. India and Pakistan become one.
I understand your point but outwardly it was visible discrimination, isn't that?? please remember the age of the gentleman at that time..
Both sides were affected by the fire of hate at that painful time😢 my grandfather was killed by rioters along with his frnds... Very tough time for both sides 😢

Good information.
My khalu was also from Amratsar a very elite family . His nana was a doctor and still a road is named in India after him. They also ran in emergency and they had gold made crockery and cutlery which they quickly took and ran away to Pakistan. They did claim in Pakistan but not as much as they left.
Great memoir

You have reservation power. The government has provided you lots of facilities. If you can't utilize these all and are still crying then it's your fault only.
Thanks Sir
For sharing your experience. Like you many others also suffered.
I 1st saw Prof Zikria in person in September 1981 when I got admission in 1st year at Gov't College.
This made me cry what our country could have been sad
What great lessons of history. Simple , Correct and true .

My grandfather passed away in 2021..He was 90 years old at that time. He told me stories about pre independence India.
Anyways, If present day Pakistan stopped using terrorist groups against the Indian Army, and did the required efforts to stop terrorism, it would've been a nicer experiance to meet or greet the common people of Pakistan someday.
Jai Hind❤️, Jai Bharat🇮🇳
Same for Indians, If India stops sponsering terrorist groups in Pakistan. It would have been nicer as awell. Both sides have done their parts.
We common people share alot in culture and i hope in future this ends
@@oscarmike3028 I think the same bro🤝.
India also does terrorism in Pakistan. You people need to realise Pakistan is a reality and we're here to stay. Stop trying to take our country.
Sir, very impressive true information of tht time not told yr mohalla near golden Temple. Rubb baily. Thanks.
Had Mohammad Ali Jinnah, Sheikh Suhrawardy, Chaudhary Mohd. Ali & Others not gone mad, this could have been avoided...
As a progressive Indian citizen, I say sorry to you for the issues which you had faced as you are like my Dadaji. I cannot tell if dividing the country was a good choice or not. But we have suffered a lot.😢
I hope we all can heal and learn from those experiences. I wish peace and prosperity to both the countries.

It was partition of Bengal in 1905 which led to creation of
Muslim league by Khwaja Samiullah, a Bengali, in 1906.
The seed of communal divide were sown by Bengali Muslims, which ultimately led to partition of India in 1947.

Muslim thought Pakistan was the solution , voted en masse for Muslim League agenda of Pakistan in 1946 elections. Then they resorted to "Direct Action Day " killing 5000 Hindus in Calcutta. Then driving away lakhs of sikhs from Peshawar and killed 4000 Sikhs in Rawalpindi. These genocidal acts by the then muslims started blood bath in the Indian subcontinent.
