Another heart -wrenching story . The difference is Indians ( like my forefathers)who lost everyrhing back in Pakistan and migrated to Indian border lost their dream world for no fault of theirs. But, they could rebuild and regain and are happy to be part of present India . But, as the respected gentleman points out, they lost the dream after coming to Pakistan. True, India has reached great heights and is a global country. While in Pakistan , internal strife, political bedlam continue.

Relatively, India might appear to be better off than Pakistan but India is a lawless hellhole where a common/poor man has no stake, no entity. A poor/common in India has less standing than the dog of a billionaire in India. Police of India is a mafia organization and the politicians of India are murderous thugs, so we in India did not get a great deal. Now all this was upto 2014, after 2014 with the coming of the murderer Modi in power, India is each day becoming a Taliban nation. Slowly and slowly, India is going towards becoming a Taliban land. Whatever little gain (little because of the corrupt Congress party) India had made upto 2014, everything is being destroyed by Modi.
The standard of living of ordinary Pakistanis is far better than Indians. This is the blessing of freedom.

I must called stories like these help us in nation building. The young generations nowadays don't know about these horrible events. They can't even think about the difficulties our ancestors had at that time. Keep unfolding true stories of partitions. Much appreciated.
Hindus and Sikhs Lahore population was 40 to 45% before partition but now zero.
Lahore isn't same. Cities made by people.
Punjab was only the place where all three religions live together for decades.
Now you got it as Haryana and Himachal virtually Muslim-free. You should be feeling satisfied.

@@hawkingdawking4572 A Muslim can choose his neighbour and a Non-muslim cannot. In pakistan you can just charge any Sikh or Christian or Hindu with blasphemy and get them removed. This is a dailiy trick to occupy someone property. So Muslims have the best ever treatment compared to other religious groups.
India is not a Muslim free even thou we wish it was. This is how illuminati islam has designed the world. Every Non-muslim country must have a Muslim minority but Muslim countries can stay pure islamic.
On 14th August 1947 it was not known whether Amritsar and lahore would fall inside Pakistan or India.
The boundary maps were revealed on the 17th of August. And only after that Wagah was declared as the border crossing...

Me and my parents use to live in Bangalore before partition. U people did very bad to us we left our house and came to Multan.
We still have our house in Bangalore we want it but u people will not give.

Long back i distinctly remember the words of my brother's father in law who told me a story about his friend during Partition time There was a Moslem Milk man who supplied milk for 35 Years but during partition on one day he came and threatened the whole family at knife point to place before him all the Jwells in their house He collected everything but never returned.That was the Fervour of Hate during those times.
I can see the pain in his words 💔 🥲

both countries should forget partition and move ahead, whatever happened both Hindus and Muslims lost a lot, Pakistan decimated its minorities, India did not do that and still has the largest Muslim population after Indonesia.

My mother and her family came feom Amritsar. My father and his family came from Feroz4pur. Both crossed river 9f blood. And eotnessed extreme massacres of Muslims by Sikhs. Many members of the family were killed.
We thank Allah for blessing us with Pakistan.

Partition was a mistake in hindsight. Muslims in undivided India with a sizeable minority of 35% of total population would have taken care of itself.
The percentage was 24 percent not 35
Indian would have become another syria or iraq or Afghanistan, with continued violence. All Hindus would have migrated to foreign lands or killed . Bhagwan saved Hindus from these animals.
No mistake. It was a blessing in disguise. All anti hindu, anti India and radical elements went away. But still some headache left in India. God knows when they will transfer.
@@ishamtaneja6725Yes, but comparing it with today’s population (India ~1.4 billion, Pakistan ~230 million, Bangladesh ~170 million). 35% is a better estimate (perhaps it’s an under estimation).

@@ranakhurram5760 problem with pakistani is self denial mode, dillusioned minds. Pakistan beg for territory from India which is 4 times its size, 6 times its population , 11 times its economy, 71 times times forex reserves, way ahead in soft power projection, diplomacy, education, welfare schemes.
Even Pakistani border is not secure from Iran and Afghanistan side so illegal immigrants, trade, drugs weapons or even terrorists can easily comes.
Pakistan also don't have exports its budget deficit is very large so pak rup is artificially managed. It should be around 1 us dollar = 500 pk ruppees. Surely when 8 bn dollar reserves will evaporate pakistan currency will start decline again.
Pak also have Internal politics crisis. PML, PPP, PTI all r figting with themselves and pak military establishment so no long term planning they just want to survive another day in the office.

Pakistan Also have problem of institutional failure. Jisko jo kaam mila hai woh nahi kar raha aur kuch aur chij main laga hai .... Politicians paisa banaey main lagey hai, Army business run kar rahi hai, judge executive body ko challege kar rahey hai and everything else.
Pakistan has wadera mullah millitary civil bureocracy nexus too.

How long are you going to keep talking about partition that happened 75 years back? Punjab has always been a problem state , with violence as the main culture. It doesn’t matter which religion you belong to.
Muslims in East Punjab suffered because of having too much trust in non-Muslims especially the Sikhs. And that is why they had suffered.
