Can't help but feel a little annoyed with Hot Toys. I have no problem with them updating these figures, but where was the update for their Batman Begins Batman? That was just a straight up re-release, and that figure was in need of an update way more then the Batfleck figures.
It's clear to me that I want this character. I'm very happy that the 2.0 version is coming out. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Your UA-cam channel is really great.
Snyder was great with the DCEU continuity. Shame WB actively ruined it. I wonder what if WB let Snyder do mos & the solo Batman movie bc honestly, BvS/BvS UE was too soon. Their fight could’ve happened and Lex orchestrated it all but with WW & fake Doomsday, that was too much. WB suits did Spider-Man 3 goof.
I have ordered this but I have a major issue with it, in the movie he has three full torso plates and a fourth one tucked under the chest plate, so let’s say there are 3.5 plates, which you can also see on the SDCC display suit. However, on the og ht and this 2.0 figure, they only have 2.5 plates, making his torso look very short and collar very low, the proportions just don’t look right once you noticed it but somehow I haven’t seen anyone talked about it. This problem also appears in the prime1 and sideshow statues, so I wonder if it’s the problem with the model WB provided.

I concur with the yay. If they included both bases and a better aggressive head sculpt then that’d be a no brainer.
I think because of how pricey the older versions are on the second hand market, and given this is an updated version. It made it a yay for me 🫡
