Yeah, couldnt agree more than that. Hot Toys just hold back on quality materials, accessories and accuracy. " Why bother to go all out in 1 release when we can release 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0 so on. " So that Hot Toys can show their so-called improvements throughout the years LOL
Love that they are including more diorama bases but they really are a pain to use in most instances and limit your poses. They need to increase the surface area where the figure stands ideally
The old Armored Batman figure has a gold belt too, i have no idea why the one they have side by side with the new one in the photos doesnt. As for the range of motion, what the hell did you expect? The real suit was already limited as hell so obviously the figure will be even more limited. In the movie if hes moving too much in this suit its CGI. Its just not a practical design, its a design that only works thanks to movie magic. Nothing HT couldve done about it, they arent wizards.
Myself, I am not a big fan of diecast in action figures anymore. I had to have that big 60 cm fanhome Iron Man (model kit). At the beginning, putting together the individual elements was a lot of fun, and each worked decently well. Nice mobility and nice gimmicks. However, after putting it all together, it dawned on me that it might not have been such a great idea. As the figure's weight is about 6 kgs (I weighed it), you have to find the perfect center of balance to be able to stand him up even for a brief moment. After that, he has a fatal tendency to twist in his body and then fall down (guess how I know. Sadly I broke one of his back wings when I caught him). He cannot hold a pose in his arms, they are too heavy even for the ratchet joints. The I discovered that the stand post and the waistgrabber are a joke (I got the giant lightup deluxe base). I have to fix this. Maybe a massive threaded rod and then tie him to it or something. Don't care much anymore how it looks like. I am also seriously considering glueing at least his legs to stabilize him. At this scale and with this much heavy metal, a statue in a cool pose is IMO a better choice.
Fun fact doomsday in BvS IS Not suposed to be the incarnation of the comicbook Version. He IS Just a Clone as the real one ist still Out there in space after He destroyed kryptons moon. As Seen in man of steel
Great vid. We always need frank talk & perspective on HT releases like this herein. No smoke up our skirts, no hyperbole. Simply an honest assessment compared to their previous release. You've even stated that for those that like the look and don't have their previous release, sure, grab it. One note to newbies like me, maybe a question actually; does law of averages w/ HT announcements mean this Figure could be 6mo to 18mo away?? Again, the actual announcements/ship dates ratios fascinate me....
If you go all in Hot Toys must included the other standart base💯 Thats why Inart is the best if you go all in🙂 Inart will get my money if they make Batman Begins,Catwoman 92,WW👍
By the time this comes out we’ll already have another big screen Batman announced (yawn) like others have said a dead franchise and the whole fight scene was cringe

I love Batfleck and all his suits unapologetically. I will get this.
I have the black chrome. Didn’t come with a spear nor battle damage. That’s one figure I regret buying. I can’t even pose the bloody thing.
But you can throw it at intruders and irritating relatives!
6:30 - looks like even his junk got an upgrade 👀

They should have made the undersuit easy to pose
I know right?

Actually you are wrong. The first battle damage release had the gold belt.
I pre-ordered the 2.0 batfleck. The diaroma base and the bigger body just looks so badass
They better fix those Fish Lips, He looks like Apocolypse

You are right. The diecast is COOL.....to the touch.
Wish there was an American company that made toys like hot toys.
If you go all in Hot Toys must included the other standart base💯

Ur talking bout a real batman unlike those other chumps 🐐

Bang on! Sick of 2.0 crap
I’m just hoping for a real secure ankle joint on this monster.
🦇✨
why does hot toys hate me
The figures I wish Hot toys would reissue are The Colonial Marines from Aliens with new Head sculpt and updated Equipment. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Funko Pops better
Why would anyone care for this dead franchise. Was a Bad movie and Batfleck was The worst Batman in history
Both terrible takes. Yikes
Clown 🤡
Batfleck was the best !!
Not the worst, but clearly not the best
