You're spot on with your assessment, very objective. The only thing I would add is that his clothes are way too clean, which is a stark contrast to the messy state of his makeup. I don't think it looks any better than Inart's effort, just different.
@Whatwhatwhat1135 Depending on the environment are factors to consider where the figure is going to be placed such as humid or hot areas. So yes, with warmer temperatures it can degrade before someone's lifetime. So, you assuming the figure will outlast someone is pointless.
It's mentioned medical silicon they used will last around 30 damn years. That is very very long. The HT DX11 was released in 2013 and is outdated heavily. By even another decade there will be another Joker that will surpass JND, Inart or HT. Pointless argument. Even using a car for 30 years is very long come on.
The head sculpt wasn't bad, the eyes were a bit dodgy from the pictures. What bugged me in the pics you showed, was the trenchcoat. It looked like it was too big. It was sitting way too high on his shoulders. Like a kid wearing his dad's coat. For that price, you'd think the clothes would be the easy part.
I got the set A and excited to see how the silicon and magnetic eye ball rolling function will be. That is one advantage over the custom market. The eyes for me is the best heath ledger eyes so far, this and HT are tied while inarts is way off. Too close and way too big. The only big miss is the outfit, for $1000 it should have been near perfection, but the coat length has no lapel stitching, coat too long, pants too tight, vest too bright etc.
What's next you can feed figures for 2500 dollars. Personally I think inart Is the peak in terms of quality we need. Like do we really need articulated fingers and a skeleton on a figure? this is going crazy
Beautiful sculpt on how amazing it looks. Side note I always thought the two Rottweilers with Ledger's Joker in The Dark Knight was Nolan's realistic approach of Bud and Lou.
Is it expensive, absolutely. But of all the ones I've released, this headsculpt looks dead on to me. And i love the tech. I simply have to get my hands on this figure.
Hell no 😂😂😂 it's insane for the price. It's a price of a statue, at least for collectors, it won't sell much, so you get a very limited piece . I don't see them making in 1/6 scale, though . I'm fine with my inart joker
This is gonna be for those snobby collectors lol. I'm not paying all that for something that WILL NOT LAST. It's plainly irresponsible to spend your money on that. Imo. Plus, the sculpt is off.
I say this figure is “in stock” but I meant “up for pre order”.
Don’t mind me 😂
It looks incredible but these companies are pricing themselves out of a lot of people’s pockets now

Considering silicone degrades and breaks down over time, that is a lot of money for a gamble on whether or not it will degrade
@Whatwhatwhat1135
Still i like hard plastic

I still have my Hot Toys Joker DX01figure from 2007 and i am still happy with it

Preordered version C at day 1! Cannot wait for it to arrive 😀
This is a piece of art
Would love just the possible hands for inart joker
best part of these vids is when you shoutout some custom independent artists ❤
It’s a decent group therapy here for fomo
I will have to say nay on this for now. I can't justify the price on a 1/6th figure. I'll stick with the Hot Toys ones for now
What's next you can feed figures for 2500 dollars. Personally I think inart

Going to go with Nay.
Hey Chris, you would should make a little base/diorama for your Joker in Chris' Customs Collector! And make some different of the rest bases😎
Something off with the sculpt save your money and get the Inart

I got that 1/4 Joker. I was lucky to get it used and in pristine condition.
Agree. Too much dough for a 1/6 figure. Yes, a 1/4 figure would justify that price.
I think inart joker is very better and beautiful
The smiling headsculpt looks off. Kinda looks like Fred Armisen.
Chris is chad af
At those prices HELL Nay. I have the Hot Toys artisan Joker pre-ordered and I’m happy with that.
The joker figure looks really good but it's just the price for me.
That’s wild mang
I’ll stick to my hot toys
That is indeed a "shitton" of money 😅

Nay way too expensive
Nay
No thanks, I will not spend this amount on a 1/6 figure.
Tired of these Jokers. It should've been a character like Solid Snake or something.
Which solid snake ?
