I used to do this and stopped when I retired a few months ago. But I'm going to start again. It will really help me establish my new home routine. Thanks. Sometimes the ideas have to come from someone else.

Totally - makes all the difference to have a good routine no matter what's going on during the day! 👍🏻

BTW I use Pantene and utilize the conditioner also for in shower shaving.

Hi Melissa. I do just about everything you do for the next day. I shower at night though so my husband and I do not need to fight for the bathroom in the morning. Also showering at night is relaxing for me and I find comfort in knowing that I got the day's dust and germs off me before I go into my clean bed. Great video!

Good hair day! I feel you girrrl! For me as well, Once my hair is done, I notice I don't need too much makeup. Hair is the crown of glory!

I'm not a morning person at all so having as much prep done the night before is a great plan and makes the mornings much less of a hassle. For years I've picked out my outfit the night before because the less decision making in the morning the better!

  • @carnival-nights

I do all of these things (except wash my hair - I do that the night before!) and never feel stressed in the morning. I hate mornings but prepping at night certainly helps.

Very impressed with the organisation aspect until the hair washing part... Who has time to do a full wash, dry and style in the morning? 😀 I would wash and dry the night before and then do a quick style in the morning. Anyways, whatever works for you !! Love your videos..

?! How did I go this long without knowing about your channel?! I've been watching Clean My Space for years. I love it. Watch it instead of cleaning sometimes. I'm ready to finally thank you by supporting you and buying your books. I must say, your videos are very... soothing? They're my fave. Please never stop making them =)

Hi Melissa, have followed your CMS videos for a long time 😊 It seems like a lot of people have only bad things to say about Pantene. Hairdressers do hate it! The reason why it feels so nice on your hair is that it coats it in silicone. However that does nothing to nourish the hair and actually stops it from breathing. Also the foaming ingredient in shampoos (sodium lauryl sulfate) is REALLY, REALLY bad for you. A lot of people don't like SLS-free shampoos because they don't foam up like regular shampoo, but you have beautiful hair, and I can recommend if you try a shampoo that is silicone and SLS-free, your hair will thank you for it and be even healthier. 😉

I have used Pantene for years! I have a very sensitive scalp. Other shampoos make my scalp itchy. It’s awesome, enjoy!!

You are literally the only person I can think of who has long hair that actually looks good. I know so many people who have long hair who shouldn't and/or torture it, so it just looks like a dry, dead mess. You definitely are doing something right!
P.S. I could never use Pantene because they are horrible animal testers and I couldn't look at my cats with a clear conscience if I used a testing product. I know it's too late now but just for your future reference :)

A working woman's morning routine... excellent! I always see UA-camrs with a 3-hour morning routine - I'm out the door 45-60 minutes after I wake up! Thanks for another excellent video! I'm not a Pantene fan, but every other aspect is VERY similar to my morning!

Lots of great tips. I need one of those compartmental lunch containers! I used to use really cheap shampoo and my hair dresser recommended Pantene because she felt it was good quality and suitable for someone on a budget, works for me :)

I'm surprised as well you used Pantene the chemicals in it is awful. You should try ogx line it's at Walmart and is affordable and there is no parabens or sulfate which is amazing and they smell great I used the coconut one or the purple one which is my fav!

    • @xdawnxangelx
      @xdawnxangelx 7 років тому +1

Melissa Maker I take vitamins! Prenatals because I'm breastfeeding and magnesium because I have chronic migraines. I also fill a yeti with ice water so I don't forget to drink enough water during the day. There's something about knowing there's ice in my cup melting that in the back of my mind I can't forget about my water.

Melissa Maker I also sometimes put prenatal vitamins in my shampoo (when I'm not pregnant or breastfeeding) to keep my hair super healthy. Hair care you don't have to think about until you get a new bottle of shampoo 😊 Also I love your book, congratulations, I'm so proud of you! I've been watching your channel for like 6 years :)

Pantene is disgusting, as a stylist I constantly am having to clarify people's hair to get all the nasty wax build up off their hair.

You are too good for Patent. I used it once and my hair falls out ! Too much chemical and everything is negative associated to this brand. You don't want to throw your reputation in the mud. Xoxo

For your own health and safety please research the ingredients in pantene. They are horrible and some are even toxic. I must say I was a little surprised to see you promote this product when you seem to be so careful in your use of cleaning products. The average person will expose themselves to hundreds of toxins in the morning before they even leave the house due to chemical ingredients in body care products. Just a heads up. What you put on your head and face will get into the bloodstream and the brain. Take care and thanks for all your advice to us!

    • @jenniefinken

@mind_over_matter Why does it matter to you? What shes puts in or on her body is her choice, not yours! You wouldn't say any of this to someone at the store buying patiene would you? Troll!

I really wish you did cleaning with kids videos. don't you have a child you can abduct from one of your friends. or better yet go to your friend's house and help them teach their kids how to get organized. I must say that's my biggest struggle in life cleaning with children.

Hi Melissa, I found your channel through the clean my space videos, I have loved your message about DIY and natural cleaning solutions but I am a bit disappointed by this particular video. Why would you sell out to a conventional shampoo, I totally understand having a sponsor video but I would not promote a company or product that doesn't follow your overall message. Please keep doing your inspiring and helpful videos for people like myself that want to live a cleaner and healthier life but do keep in mind these thoughts. Much love, XOXO

Hi Diana, thanks for your comment! I have recently been using Pantene and I used it when I was growing up, also. I'm pretty careful when choosing brands to work with and felt comfortable with Pantene. I don't think it's selling out...but I do understand your point. Thanks for your support!
