Commenting at 42 seconds. But the UCS X-Wing from last year was amazing! Adding this at the end now. I don’t know how people can have such different experiences, but the UCS X-Wing from last year had zero of those issues that you commented on for me. It was completely stable not fragile. The state was awesome. Nothing ever fell apart. I could carry it around and moved it many times. I really don’t understand it.
I find the drastic ends of this saga fascinating! I have had many people say the same as you and many people agree with me that if you just looked at it wrong it fell apart 😂

All very solid thoughts about the TIE Interceptor. It's my favorite TIE Fighter after the TIE Defender. It's very clear your editing has continued to improved, as well.
Great review! If I didn't have and loved the playset scale TIE Interceptor from last year I would consider getting this one but I just keep my collection to minifig scale ships 😁

I really stoked for this set. I've been waiting for it for years. I have the UCS TIE Fighter, Slave I, Snowspeeder, A-Wing, and the Red Five X-Wing (set 10240, which is WAY better than last year's UCS X-Wing). Can't wait to add this to the shelf. It helps that I have earned enough points to get a $100 discount.

The shape of the cockpit section is weird. There are mocs that are way more spherical. I don't know, maybe it looks better in person. Gripes aside, still totally getting it. Getting the UCS X-wing on the Wicked Brick stand was an absolute nightmare.
In a UCS? It's a display and not a playset. I wouldn't care if it was a playset. But at 230$ it's neither fair nor can it be justified.@@daveholder8297
How anyone can say the full price is reasonable, when theres still stickers included, the "promo" plate has still adimple and its not many large pieces... LEGO marketing has successfully brainwashed all the fans...
Definitely all my own opinions and not that of marketing 😂 I personally would drop the $230 on it, just like I dropped $240 on the X wing last year, except I actually think this one is worth the $230 and last years X wing is not worth $240.

I am still baffled that you accept such a price when there are already other companies out there producing better quality bricks and have better price ratios to what your getting. It gives a strange vibe when you only compare it to other (arguably overpriced) LEGO sets. If there is neither a benefit in quality, nor a benefit in design I don't understand how people accept these prices. I love LEGO and accept price increases due to higher production costs or licencing, but to objectively say the price is acceptable at 230 to me seems only achievable if you compare in a LEGO bubble and not see what else you can get for that money (and im not even only talking about plastic brick toys). Thanks for your detailed review though! The most important thing is that everbody enjoys the things in life that he/she spends his hard earned money for, and it seems you do, so all power to you!

Is the pitch angle of the stand adjustable? The only thing I don’t like is that nose-up angle the ship sits at.

Incredible model I really like it from what I see it also seem very sturdy if I compare it to my old Darth Vader tie fighter.
