When you think about it, it would suck to be on the shift when nothing is happening. 8 hours of nothing happening then you get off your shift, go and grab some rest but before your head hits the pillow the fricking red alert alarm goes off because Neelix has been kidnapped by a peyote possessed Chakotay who is lusting after Tuvok's pet Ankra or some such thing. Imagine the dark looks the ending shift would have.
ha, yes thats why on real ships you normally have 2 or 3 "watches" or shifts that split the crew up evenly during the 24 hr day. Each watch working a 4 or 6 hr watch. This gives the crew time to be rested in case of an situation when you need "all hands".
I'd say there's always stuff to do. Running calculations/experiments with leftover compute power (assuming you're not on reserve like in the Delta Quadrant), scanning anomalies, reading crew reports, checking security logs or playing that cool 3D-game Riker brought from Risa.
As people on real naval ships would tell you: Drills. Lots, and lots of drills. Or cleaning. SO much cleaning. I mean, have you SEEN the corridors in a Starfleet ship? Those things are SPOTLESS. But in all seriousness, life onboard ship would be: Duty >> Drills >> Studying for duties/drills >> Cleaning >> resting >> anything else. My knowledge comes from the stories of a former navy submariner. Life onboard ship would likely be most like life onboard a sub. There is no place to go, nothing to do, and anything that goes wrong will likely kill you. So you do your duty while you're on watch, train when you're not, and sleep when it's your turn. The primary difference is that on a Starfleet ship, you actually get your own quarters and someone, somewhere realized that being cooped up in a space coffin a dozen lightyears from any environment that can be measured in units larger than square meters CANNOT be good for one's mental health. But life onboard ship? Yeah, you're endeavoring to be better at your position pretty much 24/7.

Sometimes I'll get about 10 minutes into these and feel compelled to warp over to Netflix for a 6 hour Marathon. But I agree with everyone, after a long day, you plop down on the couch or recliner, transport directly to the bridge and its like hitting the reset button at the end of a long mission. Computer, give me a wake up call and a cup of black coffee when we've reached earth.
I’m a Voyager junkie! This is pure Stovakor for me, that is the Klingon name for their heaven isn’t it? I’m half asleep and can’t remember😂 I’m so glad I came across this, just wish it hadn’t taken me so long. I listen to ASMR, and this reminds me of it, thank u for this!
ender4life That’s awesome! I have such a hard time finding anyone that I have both of these things in common with😊 Do u have any favorite ASMR artists? I have quite a few but my top 2 favorite are my friend Emma, known as WhispersRed & my buddy Fred, known as Fred’s Voice. If u haven’t heard of them u should give them a try, they’re both really good! As for Voyager my top 2 favorites are B’Elanna and Seven. Jeri Ryan and I have been friends a little over 6 years now, she’s extremely kind and has the best sense of humor😂 Have a good day!
I love all you videos ~ Sometimes the sounds of the engines relax me, and sometimes they induce an anxiety attack. It's really quite a gamble but I'll take those odds just so I can imagine I'm on the bridge or in astrometics ^^
These are scenes are cool. Then again staying busy to keep from realizing your walking around in circles might be a challenge. Space travel psychology just might find that the human mind isnt cut out for it
is it possible to get a Klingon ship bridge ambience? maybe even General Chang's bird of prey bridge ambience? his bridge scenes in star trek 6 had the coolest whistling noises going on in the background
I'd like to see a version of this with a less prominent HUM from the engines, where you can hear the beeping and such better. Kind of imagine those times where Voyager landed, or was without engine power. I find the beeping to be relaxing, but the HUM can be a bit overpowering.
Why are the talking noises only during the first 2 hours? Since they're not that often anyways, and the time doesn't matter with them having shifts and all, it should be a conversation here and there all 8 hours through. But anyways, it's awesome, please keep making these for all kinds of rooms and ambiences from Star Trek, that's really awesome stuff
Technically Voyagers bridge is still around as it made it back to the Alpha Quadrant in one piece so technically this bridge still exists..... Somewhere, probably back on earth in a museum or Decommissioned shipyard maybe?
Who's the network admin on this ship? B'Elanna? Seems some joker tried logging into my account with the wrong password so many times I'm locked out. All the beeping in the world isn't getting me back in.
Combine this with "Song of the ice | 10 HOURS raw ice sounds for sleep/meditation/relax" by Jonna Jinton. Excellently reminding me of how to search for life-like worlds in the cosmos using pattern recognition in audible form from electromagnetic noise.
I cannot for the life of me make out who's talking and what they're saying around 35:00 I only hear a faint voice being overshadowed by the booming ambience

Is that rumbling sound from the engines or from Neelix serving Rodeo Red's Red-Hot Rootin' Tootin' Chilli to the crew?
T.E.S.S: 1
Neelix: 0
Sometimes I'll get about 10 minutes into these and feel compelled to warp over to Netflix for a 6 hour Marathon. But I agree with everyone, after a long day, you plop down on the couch or recliner, transport directly to the bridge and its like hitting the reset button at the end of a long mission. Computer, give me a wake up call and a cup of black coffee when we've reached earth.
I read that first as “Neelix”, not “Netflix” haha
I’m a Voyager junkie! This is pure Stovakor for me, that is the Klingon name for their heaven isn’t it? I’m half asleep and can’t remember😂 I’m so glad I came across this, just wish it hadn’t taken me so long. I listen to ASMR, and this reminds me of it, thank u for this!
Tina Lancaster i am also a voyager junkie and listen to asmr!
ender4life That’s awesome!
Qapla!
I love all you videos ~
Sometimes the sounds of the engines relax me, and sometimes they induce an anxiety attack. It's really quite a gamble but I'll take those odds just so I can imagine I'm on the bridge or in astrometics ^^
love Voyager. nice soundscape.
I better not wake up in the Delta Quadrant 😂
Hehehe im sure you won't
That was funny!
I'd be funny tho (if voyager is included)
Love the sound of them engines. After about 20 seconds, you can FEEL the neurons in the base of your brain firing up.
Aye, that is called ASMR. Look it up, if you are not familiar with the phenomenon.
Very relaxing. Classic Star Trek, the Star Trek which had a lot or some of Roddenberry's influence, is a very relaxing place to be.
I read that description in Capt. Janeway's voice.
Hello, new study soundtrack.
madjilisse
Please remove the TITLE screen. I want to see the bridge.
Patrick Musson 2 years later it’s still here...
andrew_paints_warhammer you cant adjust videos once they’re uploaded bruh
Patrick, two years and two weeks and it's still there.
New upload!
It gets removed once they reach the alpha Quadrant
Yay! I like the random conversations.
Really liking this one. The clarity is wonderful.
I loved voyager, owned the dvd set 😅
Idk why but when I listen to these it makes all the noise in my head go away and I feel more focused
This needs intermittent moaning from Tuvix's ghost.
Nah the moaning is just Tom and B'ellana having intimate relations. Every knows when they have intimate relations...
@@gatedude07 I believe you mean everybody on Deck 9 Section 12 knows... 😜
seven of nine report to the bridge
for the next 8 hours
mefipulate the original yoga pant girl
Damn, even full borg she's kinda hot
Nekkid
I am a midnight worker and use this a lot in my bedroom during the day to cancel out other sounds.
Thank you for coming up with this! I sleep so well with the Ambiences! good stuff
"Helm, plot a course for Earth. Maximum warp"
You are not alone on the bridge. There are watch standers there with you for navigation, weapons, scientific analysis, and communications.
I'd like to see a version of this with a less prominent HUM from the engines, where you can hear the beeping and such better.
Kind of imagine those times where Voyager landed, or was without engine power. I find the beeping to be relaxing, but the HUM can be a bit overpowering.
I'm ok with the humming, but I know what you mean. I like to imagine that my personal quarters are just right near the engine room.
Goodbye AC white noise, hello Voyager noise!
Also interesting that my name is also Voyager... lol.
i also use ac white noise. why not both, cool too..
I was watching TNG yesterday and noticed this sound in the background... Made me want to go to sleep lol. :)
Anyone else like to put this on while they watch Voyager so it's like you're watching Voyager on the bridge of the Voyager?
thank you for u great videos, I listen to it every day
This is the sound Voyager makes when it's NOT going Warp 9 towards the Alpha Quadrant, and stopping for every distress signal/spatial anomaly...
I'm actually a big TOS fan and my favorite ship is of course the Enterprise but I really like this sound too
Suggestion: Add the very occasional creaking of the hull, perhaps? not sure if it generally does this regularly though in the actual show
Could you please include pictures of the bridge like in other videos??
My work has A/C drone, when that shit cuts out it feels sooo good on my ears.
Q just likes starfleet for asmr reasons
Well that's another day done Captain, she is all yours Kathryn, in the mean time Seven and I will be getting an early night!
Voyager is my favorite star trek series
I love the show as well!
Because after the first two hours of the video, Tuvok and Seven of Nine's bridge shift began.
Sean Hyde They do share an affinity for silences
Any chance there is one of Sick Bay?
34 use to watch this with my dad from blockbuster vhs tapes when they came out to rent
🖖 Live long and prosper
Finally something I can listen to while I tweet.......
Captain... ... ...I should tell you I've never actually landed a starship before... ... ...
That's alright Lt. Neither have I 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
I need version with crew orders and reports from time to time please!
Who else fell asleep a bit then woke up after hearing tactical alert. 1:03
Technically Voyagers bridge is still around as it made it back to the Alpha Quadrant in one piece so technically this bridge still exists..... Somewhere, probably back on earth in a museum or Decommissioned shipyard maybe?
MR NAXMAN I believe it becomes a museum... I’m sure Memory Beta would know!
so relaxing...i love this
i play this at work for background noise in my office lol
I would take the night shift with seven of nine without hesitation at all.
Soul 71 I feel the same way about Captain Janeway, she is so beautiful
Gross, both of you.
Jason Booker Look at recent pictures of her, don't even ask why, just do it
@@poisax Wow it's almost like.... the actress aged. Weird how time.... exists.
Men don’t deserve Janeway or Seven
I like it. Now I can clean the house.
Who's the network admin on this ship? B'Elanna? Seems some joker tried logging into my account with the wrong password so many times I'm locked out. All the beeping in the world isn't getting me back in.
Nice - well done.
If Mr. Paris was on-shift, I'd offer him some edibles. Could be fun :)
thank you
I'm more of a Original series ST guy my dad is more of a NG guy but I actually enjoyed Voyager. It was definitely better than Deep Space 9.
The same space station in the same location week after week.
The Quark & Odo show 😂
Is there a version of this with less beeps?
does anybody know of a space dock version of this.
Can you please add uss defiant bridge noise
Combine this with "Song of the ice | 10 HOURS raw ice sounds for sleep/meditation/relax" by Jonna Jinton. Excellently reminding me of how to search for life-like worlds in the cosmos using pattern recognition in audible form from electromagnetic noise.
Harry Kim, smashing fuck out of his clarinet on the con when he can't nail the solo from 'My Lovely Horse'
What is the quality of this sound?
320kb/s - perfect
128kb/s - pretty medium
because I hear only 128kb/s now...
thx
love to get this on iTunes if possible?
@Dawson Davis cant download it to my ipod front here, thats why
Nice!!
This is great need one for SG1 LOL
They should really throw a "RED ALERT!" somewhere in the middle of this.
Awesome! Thank you!!!!
I´m listening to this while studying and suddenly I hear Kathryn Janeway at 7:08:28 . What a lovely little detail!
I want to know, how @ender4life has been producing and arranging those background sounds. Does anybody know?
when are the conversations?
James Henderson no it’s not
41 people fell asleep on a console just before something hit the ship.
“Where’s my coffee?”
Do you have versions of any of your videos that are 8 hours with no conversations at all?
I think y’all must be schizoid or something cuz I can’t hear any conversations at all lol
I cannot for the life of me make out who's talking and what they're saying around 35:00 I only hear a faint voice being overshadowed by the booming ambience
Tim Versmoren almost 90% certain it’s Torres and Paris.
