This 8-hour video was captured from System47 Viewer Program which was configured to only display the animation of Enterprise-E schematics. The animations utilized the entire 16x9 wide-screen area, as supported by the latest version of the screensaver & the new Viewer Program (version 2.5.01). This video's playback quality is available up to 4K resolution. Enjoy 😀 #StarTrek #USSEnterprise
The updated Enterprise-E Schematics animation features:
* Multiple color variations on the #LCARS interface & on the ship schematics
* Zooming in to various parts of the ship
* Areas in schematics are labeled
* More small elements are animated -- shuttlecraft, transporter room, holodeck, etc.
* Random trek text messages
* Easter eggs embedded 😉

Version 2.5.01 was released on November 18, 2021. New features include:
* utilizing full 16x9 or 4x3 display area
* font typeface update
* Various animation refinement upgrades
* Enterprise-E schematic animation received tons of new additions
* more "randomness" & variations built in
* a clock display integrated into the #LCARS UI
* a new config setting display with keyboard shortcuts
* volumes from effect sound & background sound can be independently adjusted
* the animation frame rate got bumped up from 18 to 30FPS, resulting smoother animation -- Unfortunately, low-end computers could suffer from sluggish playback

this makes me wish for a sorta realistic star trek sim game where you just do normal starfleet things instead of the fate of the galaxy in every mission like Star Trek Online. Just fly around do various science stuff, carry cargo out to colonies, occasionally assist with the odd minor crisis.
Yeah it would be interesting to see an episode like that. Maybe a whole series where they just kind of do normal stuff but showing the inner workings of Starfleet and the Federation.

Okuda is an artistic genius to come up with "Okudagrams" and these layouts. I think ships as they get smarter (with internal censors, a.i. and self-diagnostic scanners) will eventually need to have these kinds of real-time display readouts.

Oh, I didn't know that a video clip could be directly included into a Wallpaper Engine's wallpaper. A video clip's filesize could be quite large tough... hmmm... Unless the wallpaper could be linked directly to a UA-cam video

I never really watched any episodes of the 'Star Trek' franchise & I select videos like these, for example just to get some noise going on in the background, or, I'll try to fall asleep to it when I'm getting ready for bed.
This one is a mixture of the Enterprise-E from the movies Star Trek: Insurrection & Star Trek: Nemesis. The ship's design was updated in the latter movie.
Measurements of Enterprise D shows that withe even 1000 people aboard, it would be like a ghost ship.
Kinda wonder if there could be a version of this exact same thing but featuring Voyager instead of the 1701-E

On Windows, sometimes I use Lively Wallpaper by rocksdanister. It's pretty neat too, and it's free & open source. For MacOS, Plash app could be useful

Lol, System 47's code base is rather old & was written in Flash's actionscript. Difficult to upgrade it to 21x9. One day I'll probably rewrite it as a web app so that it could be more versatile.
Have meWho updated the screen saver from Adobe Flash or not?
I updated the System47 screensaver 2 years ago. Since Flash is no longer supported by current operating systems, I won't be updating the Flash screensaver again... unless I rewrite the animation using other methods 😕
@@system47 : Why not? Your screensaver was the only one that would come on multiple screens with different sets of the animation and not affect the sound. It was awesome.

Definitely not the actual of the E-E, and what you see here is "not canon." Please treat this version as a recreation of the E-E by a Trek fan -- not an official schematic of the ship. When I made this animation many years ago, I only did a limited research on it. Later I found out the Enterprise-E itself even went through some design modifications after its first appearance in ST: First Contact!

And it did work on my personal devices. Just not on a business Mac due to security reasons.
@@SchufD so your work Mac has some policy to stop it from running or your user account does not have the correct permissions, it is running inside of a stand alone Adobe flash player so I really wouldn't want it runing either.
However if you don't want to have youtube open all day just download the youtube video and play it locally in a video player on your mac

Already inaccurate. There's no canon schematic for the Enterprise E. The script writers and set designers couldn't even keep this ship straight in one movie, let alone between three movies.
That or it's a federation tardis.
Where's the bowling alley? And don't give me that, "It's in the holodeck," BS, either. A holodeck cannot re-create the pure, unadulterated awesomeness of an actual bowling alley.

The Enterprise-E sucked! The Enterprise-D was so much better! Also changing all of the Starfleet uniforms for the Enterprise-E to those ugly thick gray shoulder designs was horrible. Not only did it look bad on the TNG crew but then it caused ripple effect changing the uniforms on Deep Space Nine and Voyager when they communicated with Starfleet in the alpha quadrant. Always pissed me off how one movie ruined the uniforms and look of two other series.
