Being a fan of the Mortal Kombat games myself, I have not heard of some of the things mentioned in this video, and I kinda want to thank you for bringing attention to some of these ridiculous things that I might check out (except for the tour maybe because it seems way too ridiculous for my liking, and finding a video of the tour seems like it would be way too much trouble for me).
I love how Scorpion and Sub-Zero are enemies for no reason in Conquest other than "Enemies in the games, yeah, let's make them fight each other here", it's rather endearingly stupid. All they needed to do was work together, not make one side a superior and the person in charge.
I loved Conquest when I was a kid. Used to watch it every Friday on TNT. Never forget the finale. Found out later that even though the show had high ratings it was too expensive to make so they cancelled it. So in the final episode they went full balls to the walls and had Shao Kahn kill everyone. Literally every main character and villain is killed and Raiden becomes Shao Kahn's slave.

The actor who played Shang Tsung did such a great job, and I was happy to see him in the revamped Mortal Kombat live action series. I did not like reptile being an animated statue, or scorpions spear being alive. But it was a bold take on the story and characters. This movie was great, but Mortal Kombat Annihilation was trash.

I think the MK movie is great and totally does justice to the characters. With scorpion and subzero. You don’t want to get into their stories, because it would distract from the main plot, of which Liu is the hero. But to leave them out of the film would be disappointing. At least the Johnny v scorpion fight kicked ass.
More than “almost twenty years”. The second mk movie was released in 97. Assuming it was filmed that year, that makes it 22 years in 2019. Probably 23 since I imagine it was filmed in 96.
