I think Sony purposely put a small hand grip on this model so that they can market their future models with "new" features. Just wondering if the eye piece on the EVF can be swapped? BTW, I like your photo edits. Looks amazing.
Nice to see Sony moving away slightly from their "electronics" DNA and showing some refinement in the overall styling, but no touch screen and the old menu stops it being a must have camera for me, I will stick with the Q2 for walkabout. First again with an excellent review, those guys at DPR not even got a copy yet !!!!!!!!
Thanks Ian for the kind words. Perhaps they will update the menu in the future. Since there is touch capabilities to the display I’m sure a firmware update can unlock more out of it Q2 is a fantastic camera system, congrats on that. I think DPR had one but many reviews channels decided to not give this a full look just yet
Have they fixed the problems with the mount diameter and flange distance for the Sony systems? They really should be tackling that problem rather than trying to compete with fujifilm.

Yeah it’s good. Have to say though I like the R6. It’s fast, good IQ and performs well
Hi. Can you share some footages in S-Log or HLG with a face in the frame?
Sorry I don’t have that footage
@@TECH360TV maybe any other ones?
Great video , in the end the color science is the same like a7siii ? Or similar with a7iii .
More like the A7sIII
@@TECH360TV really ????? that is great . Did you take same JPEGS without any touch ?do the colors are better than a7iii ?
If you see the Lightroom portion will see the unedited. I only shoot in raw format
@@TECH360TV thank you .
damn those colours on the A7sIII tho.. high production quality
Yes it’s fantastic
Doesn't the a7C have the newer color processing like the a7S iii and the ZV1?
@@sleeplessdawg8016 from what i know its the same as a7iii
It’s more like the sIII
Yes
Pre-ordered and counting the days to US release, can't wait to have mine
Enjoy when you get it
Sad, they didn't put the new UI from A7siii
Agree. Perhaps in a future firmware update
I want to sell my full frame Nikon d750 to buy this little camera. My camera is also very good but it is too heavy and I often leave it home when it comes to going out or small travel because of the size. Do you think for photography , this little camera would compare with my Nikond750? thank you. I am also thinking about doing video as well and this camera seems to be the best hybrid ( small mirrorless full frame camera) that I can find. Any thoughts?
I think Sony purposely put a small hand grip on this model so that they can market their future models with "new" features. Just wondering if the eye piece on the EVF can be swapped?
BTW, I like your photo edits. Looks amazing.
Thanks Ronald. The Eye piece doesn’t seem to be able to be changed but maybe an attachment can be put on it.
Are you using the Fuji XT4 to film this video?
No. A7SIIi
@@TECH360TV I see. Much appreciated, thanks for the speedy reply!
No prob :)
Amazing video!
Thanks!
Im gonna order it, a great street cam. I already have the A7RIV but this one will be it for the streets :)
That’s really what it’s for. Congrats
What camera and lens you used to record this video? Was a a7c?
A7sIII with the 85 1.4GM and 24 1.4GM
what about the kit lens that comes with it?
I didn’t get that for this first impressions.
How would this feel with a zoom such as the 24/105? Also, I assume it doesn't have focus bracketing. I wish Sony would toss us macro shooters a bone.
With larger zooms it might feel front heavy.
Unfortunately there are a number of cameras that don’t have focus bracketing. Wish they did though
Great GREAT video ;)
Thanks!
this camera is made for lenses like the loxias or e mount voigtlander
Yes those will work great
Nice to see Sony moving away slightly from their "electronics" DNA and showing some refinement in the overall styling, but no touch screen and the old menu stops it being a must have camera for me, I will stick with the Q2 for walkabout. First again with an excellent review, those guys at DPR not even got a copy yet !!!!!!!!
Thanks Ian for the kind words. Perhaps they will update the menu in the future. Since there is touch capabilities to the display I’m sure a firmware update can unlock more out of it
Q2 is a fantastic camera system, congrats on that.
I think DPR had one but many reviews channels decided to not give this a full look just yet
That's a Toneh 4, maybe even Toneh 5.... I want to see the city Bobby, let us see the city
That’s too much Toneh for your innocent eyes if I do that 😂
Do you lose eye auto focus when you shoot 120fps?
Didn’t try the video features on this. From my understanding it should be the same as the A7SIII and A7RIV in terms of focusing
Hope they release an A7C-R with 36-42mp sensor...Still holding on to my 5yr old A7R2
That would be nice but a lot of letters in the name haha
Have they fixed the problems with the mount diameter and flange distance for the Sony systems? They really should be tackling that problem rather than trying to compete with fujifilm.
It’s the same. Well one could argue that but based on mirrorless sales Sony seems to be doing pretty good so don’t see a change for a while.
There's no problem with that. Enough high quality fast lens to show that.
What lens did you use on the Sony a7s iii?
For the standing and talking the 85 1.4 GM and for the walking the 24 1.4 GM
Great Video,
Thanks Shauwn!
How are the jpeg images?
I don’t shoot in jpeg. But converting raw to jpeg the results are good
Great review! But where’s your mask?
When filming don’t need to wear
It be nice have a bigger version for bigger lenses..a7iv.
I like the specs of a7c..no crop ibis continuous shoot fast action video long battery flip screen nice body....but needs touch better menu system bigger evf.
is there "aps-c mode in sony a7c?"
I don’t have it with me now, but I’m guessing there is as it’s common on most full frame camera systems
with what lens was this recorded, 0:00 ?
We used two. The 85 1.4GM and 24 1.4 GM
