I enjoy my A7c, mainly because of it's size. The shortcomings you well described, and I agree with them all. Honestly, the Ricoh pictures you've been posting lately have been amazing, I wish Pentax would make a mirrorless camera, but I guess it's maybe too late for them. The a7IV is a great camera, and I'm tempted, but I really want an OM-1 as most my lenses are M4/3's and weight is very important.
great video. Is the Sony a7c camera suitable for long-term filming? For example, two hours of non-stop record? Doesn't the temperature of the camera rise?
I never filmed anything that long on my A7c, so I don't know. Every camera warms up when it's being used, it's normal. However, if your main use would be recording non stop for hours, there are better cameras than the A7c.
Nice! What I would love is the a7iv in an a7c body. 😄 I love the body of the a7c so much. 10 bit codecs for it would make it ideal for me. Basically I love the shape of FX3, A7c, GX9, etc.
@@mattisulanto yeah! And even if it doesn't show up, the FX3 already exists with a "can't wait for the A7cii" TAX included in the price if I just need 10 bit right away.

@@thatsreallyamoon I would want an EVF like the A7C. That FX3 sensor can really see in the dark! I would be ok with the same tech in an A7C body. But if we can get that A74 in the A7C body, that would be ideal!
‘You date your camera but you marry your lenses’.. I’m so in bed with Sigma and Sony E Mount lenses that I can’t conceive of letting go of my A7C (until maybe the next version) and my A7r3. I went through several systems and even trotted down the Leica Bunny Trail for a bit, Sony is a good choice so I’m glad you stayed with Sony so I can tune in to your channel for shooting tips. Anyone here ever thought of having a Monochrome conversion done to your A7C instead of selling it?
Now days I don't do much video...so...a pair of A7c (used) and an original A7s work for all my street work/play in Bangkok (I am retired here) I got bored. of waiting for Panasonic and OM to upgrade or continue their "range finder style" cameras so in the interest of staying slim I dumped my M43 gear and will now stick with Sony full frame. Best of luck...Cheers
I have not used the XT5 or the XS20, so I can't really recommend either. The XS20 looks like a good value though. I'd probably go for Fuji, but a decision like that is always highly personal.
hi, You can program the a7c memory buttons (123) to shoot w/e you want regards to settings.. a74 is better of course but the downside you mentioned isn't really a downside.
@@architecture_logs Yes, it is, but the switch (photo to video switch) on the A7IV does work the same way. If you think the A7C is your perfect camera, I'm happy for you. For me the A7IV works better.
I think the decision is much easier if you already have sony lenses. In the end if someone changes the whole system is more expensive, because when you sell your lenses there is allways some "depreciation" in the second hand markt. The sony a7 IV is a great camera and the sony system has more lenses than any other system. Great video, Matti!
Don't hate any camera or brand as such myself. The reason I also chose Sony two years ago was simply their lense selection and especially their 3rd party offering and also because I did not have any 'baggage' from my previous system(s). (sold all my mft lenses). You're also right in that Nikon has no real presence here in Finland so I did not even think about it. So it was basically just Canon or Sony and Sony it is. Have not regretted that decision 🙂
I own 2 Sony A7C among with A1 and A7IV and the A7C sees the light the most. I've been doing Street Photography with both A&C in my shoulders, one with a 24mm f1.4 and on the other one usually a Zeiss 55 f1.8 or Sony 85 f1.8. I'm looking forward to A7C II with more res (33MP at least) 4k 60 10 bit 4:2:2, better screen accuracy, and i wish they could fit a flash as well like the one from the A6400 (really handy for low light)
That is one workaround, but it's not quite the same. The custom mode returns the defaults that you saved, but it does not remember your last used settings. But, it takes you halfway there and is better than nothing. I never learned to use those customs modes on any camera, but for some it probably works.
Hi Matti, I've had Sony since Sony Nex7 and have not looked back since, and today I have a Sony A7RIIIA and a Sony A9, and right now I see no reason to replace one of my cameras with a new Sony camera, as they meet my needs! However, I think the Sony A7IV is a cool camera with many good specifications, but right now as written above I can not justify replacing one of my cameras! Cheers Jess
So we're just going to ignore that Panasonic introduced mirrorless cameras as we know them 2 years before Sony, and ignore that Olympus introduced eye AF 4 years before Sony?
@@StephenStrangways Dear Stephen Unconditional apologies for not realizing these facts! I am very sorry, my ignorance. Thank-you for correcting me. I will not be ignoring these facts anymore! I find this insight actually quite fascinating esp. Olympus having eye AF before Sony! I thought that was a dead set Sony invention! My main camera body is a Nikon Z6ii and every-time I turn it on and engage eye AF I give praise and thanksgiving to Sony! But now I can share the love around over a wider population and this is always a more beautiful thing. This is not tongue in cheek, Stephen. This is real happiness.
I hated using Sony a7 III and a7R II because the 8 bit footage would really let me down in post production, while the Panasonic GH5 with its tiny sensor had robust codecs that held up amazingly well in post. However, if I could build a dual camera setup again, I would probably invest in the Sony a7C and the a7S III (or a7 IV). And the reason would simply be the lens selection and the overall image quality. The Tamron lenses especially are really enticing for me, particularly the 70-180 f/2.8 and the 35-150 f/2-2/8. There's nothing like them in any other system that I know of
Indeed, the one thing that makes Sony is brand that loved by many is their third party line up lenses. It helped many beginner to get cheap lenses by third party like samyang f1.8 lenses and 'cheap' alternative for beginner to pro but broke 😂 like tamron 28-75mm. People hate their grip, their sooc, their 8bit and many but still comeback for their third aprty lenses.
It's a good camera and if you like it, you can most probably take street photos on it too. I wouldn't know if this camera is for you though, because I don't anything about you or your photography.
when i had a6300, i saved the photos settings on slot 1 and 2, i think, and video on 3. the 1/2/3 slots are on the main dial next to each other, so all it took to go from photo settings to video settings is turning the knob (might have been all in slot 1, and i selected them when presented with the option to choose which saved settings i want, but im not sure, ita been a while). im not sure about wb either.. i do prefer panasonic's implementation, where saved setting can be accessed via touch, and its i think more convenient and doeant wear the button/dial out. getting a7iv i think was a good move. i thought you were gonna say you went with gh6 or such.. from what i see, a7iv is quite a camera. if only the rolling shutter was better. but a very good choice, still.
An a7C II with some tweaks would be great, though Sony won't want to impinge on their A7IV sales, but front dial, better EVF, seperate photo and video settings, and maybe second card, and more people would not feel like they are compromising too much with it.
I don’t understand product-haters, whether photo, software, or computer. It is unproductive and wasted energy that only feeds into the “tribalism” we see everywhere, such as religion, politics, and even sports. I now have three brands: Panasonic, Fujifilm, and most recently Canon (which I thought I would never own!). I appreciate the strengths of each and the reality is that my family and friends can’t tell the difference between their resulting photos. I thought that your purchase of the A7c this last year was (and still is) a declaration that you care more about the end result: the images. What a concept!
Nice beanie! As an a7C user I was ready to come here shouting clickbait, clickbait! BUT... the reason mentioned is very understandable from your perspective! The a7C is a fantastic tool for a photographer/videographer who moves a lot - the body is compact and relatively lightweight, as are the many lenses available to it. But the settings-tap-dance one has to do when going between video and photos can be a big annoyance in the long run, I agree! Also my biggest gripe with the a7C. In a way that also shows how far the cameras we use have gone when such relatively small issues can become the main reason for changing cameras! Now... in a year or two, will we see the "I SOLD my a7 IV" video from you, when the a7C II with updated processors and 4K60 is released? ;)
Terve Matti. I'd just program your mode dial to switch between photo and video on the a7C. It records every single setting you could imagine in the modes. I switch constantly. I have base settings for everything, so I’m usually not going into menus at all. I like to keep things small (so it’s the camera for me), but I very much understand the move you made. My second camera would be an easy choice (the a7IV). I’m very happy to have discovered another Finn on YT!
You are talking about custom modes? They kind of work, but the problem is that a custom mode will always default to the same settings. Thanks for sharing anyway😀
@@mattisulanto yes, it does default to the same settings. I'm normally having to make the same setting changes to every individual shot anyway, so same difference to me. I have my WB in the Function menu, which I find fast enough. Maybe the next a7C will have a mode dial with another ring on it like the a7IV (we can hope!).
Sony makes the best well rounded cameras in the world. BUT I DON'T LIKE THEM!!! I have no idea why. They have the best technology. But I would rather use anything else even Lumix as a manual focus camera. I shoot Pentax for stills and Olympus for video.
@Bernard Once upon a time, in the beginning of the digital era, Pentax stood for compact travel friendly stuff. But now, they gave (and still give) birth to monsters, stuff which Pentax users like yourself are fed up with, obviously. Luckily you seem much younger than the average Pentax user, so you should be able to switch to any mirrorless system you want, effortlessly. I'm sure it is about brain agility 🙂 Look at all these young portrait photography ladies at UA-cam, using e.g. their Sonys effortlessly, not ever mentioning anything about e.g. the old Sony menus. It is a brain agility thing, which in turn depends on age. The same like with car brands. The younger, the more likely you'd switch effortlessly, with no interruption of the joy of driving. The older, the more reluctant one gets to face a new learning curve, and the harder it gets indeed. And, the louder the moaning gets about an alleged "all the other car brands are not as ergonomic as the one I'm used to" 😉
@Bernard if weight is your primary concern, why use 135 format at all? Micro4/3 body + equivalent lenses are a third the size and weight, and usually much cheaper too. IQ is virtually indistinguishable in most situations (I own both).
I thought you can set different settings with the 3 custom settings on the dial. Make ne for video and another for photo. Not the case? What are those three dials for then?
@@PLANETWATERMELON Two things first. 1.If you don't understand how I use my camera that doesn't make me a rookie. 2. Please be polite in you comments. Hysterical . I am the rookie. To funny. I am very sure your pinky knows more than I do. Wish I could say I am at least a fast learner, nope can't say that.
Very nice explanations for why you switched. I have cameras of different brands and I find it strange when people get extremely emotional about a camera brand. Personally, I like what I like and if someone else likes something different, I feel happy for them. I like both digital and film cameras. I think the best reason for choosing any tool is that it does a good job and you like using it.
Sorry about the absence of Nikon support in Finland... I just like to inform you about the situation here. The direct importer in Italy regarding assistance and warranty is way expensive in most cases as a fact here an example: Nital with "code" body cameras Z6II it costs 2.290 with full 4y warranty, but you can buy same body EU import camera for 1.987 same 4y warranty. Is 300€ more which is not very hi as another example and that makes the bigger unjustifiable difference is D850 (body only) from an EU importer you need 2.245 + 4y warranty but direct importer ask 3.079 + full free 4y assistance (and this cause DSLR prices dropped after ML launch otherwise add 300€). Is well over 800€! A major fact is, if your EU camera needs care, main LTR Nikon repair labs give assistance only for first year but the others (1 or more years accordingly with EU warranty you bought) are given by EU importer, so after 1y warranty passed EU cameras all go for a trip that last... who does know! In the other case with a "coded" Nital body camera you get full 4y coverage warranty, first year Nikon official other 3 by Nital. Here we have some advantages (if can be called so) and are all well paid! The main advantage of this kind of market goes to Pro photographers that have no worries during their shooting if something goes wrong. End of story short!? If you are happy with Sony ... tie up with it!! Sony are great cameras and have good lenses and a third party lenses as well. One day I may do the big effort to switch with Sony myself not cause I don't like Nikon (I love it!) but its prices and warranties deal are a mess! Note: All above prices are the lower I could find 19/05/22.
Hah ha as soon as you said you couldn’t save your settings, I knew exactly what you bought. That was exactly the same for me and the 1/4000 shutter. It’s an amazing camera.
My Lumix cameras although I really loved them had serious build issues, my GX-8 lost its control ring around the shutter button, and the fix? Replace the entire top...
Also debating selling my Nikon z5 because the z lenses (and especially the adapted f lenses) are too big for me being a hiker. I’m considering sigma fp L or waiting for the A7CII … sigma is tempting but I’d need a tripod as it has no ibis so probably will wait for Sony when they incorporate that photo/video mode switch like on the sigma!
There are technically a few third party AF lenses for RF mount, like the Rokinon 85 1.4 and the Yongnuo and Viltrox 85 1.8s, along with a wealth of adaptable EF glass, but I understand your position. I'm mostly invested in RF bodies and glass, but I did recently buy an A7R III to get a foot in the door of the Sony lens ecosystem.
I almost went with Sony but then Nikon released the Z9. It's hard to go wrong with Sony. That's for sure. I love the Nikon Z7 II because it's light and full of features. The Z9 is a tank. Heavy, with tons of features. I am used to the Nikon menus. Anyway yeah, I think you will love the new Sony. Yes, Sony has pushed the competition. Nikon was getting lazy. They did not want to go mirrorless, so Sony kicked Nikon's butt. The result being the Z9, right now the best mirrorless on the market. Six months to a year from now a new camera will rule the mirrorless market. It's win, win for us consumers.
The S5 is a better camera overall, but I wanted the best video AF. I made hundreds of UA-cam videos with Lumix cameras and every time I wished I had a reliable AF for video.
Thanks for the tip. If you read other comments you'll realize that about 25 commenters before you suggested the same. Custom modes don't work for me, because they always default to the same settings. Based on the comments that works for many and that is fine, but that does not work for me.

The A7IV is a great camera, you're going to love it. I've had mine since December and I'm very impressed with it, this is my first Sony camera after moving on from Olympus. I still use my Olympus gear but any new purchases will be for Sony as it is my new system going forward!
I don't get your issue with photo-video settings : I personally use the presets for my different video settings and use M-S-A-P for my photography settings. Never had an issue since using this !
I have used Fuji and Sony, I will give a way my fuji to someone within the family. Sony , I got two of them A7R4 and A7R2, they are my first full frame cameras, I got into the Sony ecosystem because Sony allowed third party lens makers like Sigma, Tamron, Viltrox, Samyang etc to challenge their monopoly of E mount lenses, they are making quality glasses at more affordable compare to Canon RF and Nikon Z. With Sony camera people can get great quality Sigma primes at 2/3 price of Sony GM with almost matching performance.
This is my exact dilemma. I struggled like a fly in a spider's web to remove the single SD card yesterday. I thought about the gh6 or S5 but the af is just a disappointment. On to the A7iv. Top notch content upload Matti
@@joeltunnah Yes, it is a UA-camr issue for sure. However, I once attended a small lecture by Philip Bloom and he mentioned having used AF on a job and his opinion was that it's coming to "professional" video too. Of course, Hollywood level productions are going to use MF far into the future.
The a7IV is a solid choice. I researched FF hybrids recently and came to the same conclusion, however I couldn’t source one in the US so bought a used Nikon z6 instead. Happy so far. Currently looking for a 35-100 f2.8 for my g85, so if you're selling let me know :)
Thanks Matti for the video! I also have the A7C but I mist say I have not really used it. After watching you review I might just get rid of it and get A7IV instead. Sure I could get a speed booster and Canon lens but why? 🔴 You are3rd person that has jumped ship from Lumix 4/3 system to Sony. I love my GH5 even with its issues because when it get the video right, boy is it ever right. Sadly I will let that camera go pretty much for sure. ...then again lol. Thanks for you video.
Thanks Matti for this video. It was just a step I needed to make a decision to buy A7c. I don't make videos at all and for me it's such a great camera. Other manufacturers should be ashamed of AF in their cameras 😁 I'm on my first trip in Greece with a new system (owning also Olympus cameras with plenty of lenses), enjoying the quality of pictures, especially the low light ones. The only drawback for me is the weight of the camera plus lens. MFT equipment was so tiny and there is unfortunately no way to make such a small and light lenses for full frame
Great video, thank you for posting. I use a Sony A6000. Coming from Nikon (40 years), it took almost a year to change muscle memory. I bought into Sony for its incredibly small sized lightweight body, its fast autofocusing system, and for its production of constant high quality files. I don't need a command dial under the shutter button as I shoot in Shutter Speed priority controlled via the dial on the right, at the back of the camera. This, combined with auto ISO means I can quickly choose the shutter speed I want per the situation in front of me, via the LCD. For video, I find shooting in auto is enough for my needs, as it does a fine job every time. I bought the A6000 in 2016 and I've yet to use the EVF except for when I shoot on Nikon. I prefer 100% peripheral vision (left and right and beyond the camera) so I can see what's about to step in or out of the frame. For me, the LCD makes my photography more of a joy, especially when I tilt the flip screen into a pseudo waist level finder mode. I simply love doing this. The Sony A7C sure is tempting though, not that I have a need for full frame photography, except this is the first time I've heard someone rave about its long battery life, sadly this pleasure is missing from the A6000 (it has dismal battery life).
So hopefully you don't become much bad comments. Feel free to buy/use, what you want. I only can speak for myself. My own experience with Sony isn't good: I had an Alpha 6500, a RX 100 III and a Sony A7 III. The last had a great defect after short time. But that's not the reason to leave Sony forever. For me (!) the service was very bad. I always had a complicated use of all Sonys. I don't hat Sony. But I do not like the menu, the form factor and so on...Sony to use was subjectively very heavy and makes no fun. Is there a perfect camera? NO. Most important is the sympathy of using it.
I don’t concern myself with what equipment anyone else uses, I just try to do the best with what I have. I see people doing tremendous work with antiquated gear that most people would consider worthless. I happen to hate Sony as a company, so the chances of me buying any of their cameras is extremely remote.
Yeah i agree with you about camera brand.. there is no camera brands that can fulfill everybody’s need.. my notion of the best camera, it will be the best once it fits with my wallet.. hahaha
Great perspectives in this video. I think Sony did a lot to wake up and shake upthe other camera manufacturers. From that we all are the beneficiaries of more competition and choices.

@@thatsreallyamoon I love the FX3, wish it had a viewfinder, and a way to capture 4k in apsc mode while maintaining the low light performance. I really love that sensor in that camera.
@@soholingo 😄 I really like the LACK of the viewfinder haha. I want a nice full flat screen with a flat top on the camera. The reason the sensor is so good is because it unfortunately only has enough pixels to be 4K, so each pixel is bigger. Hence we can't do APSc modes because we wouldn't have 4K anymore, which is the entire strength of the camera; to have insane 4K quality.
@@thatsreallyamoon I would want an EVF like the A7C. That FX3 sensor can really see in the dark! I would be ok with the same tech in an A7C body. But if we can get that A74 in the A7C body, that would be ideal!
10bit codec for video is also a major +! You can actually use SLOG3 unlike those 8bit cameras.
True and there are many more improvements, but in this I just wanted to mention the most important for me.
@@mattisulanto Yes that is understandable, lots to cover 😀
‘You date your camera but you marry your lenses’.. I’m so in bed with Sigma and Sony E Mount lenses that I can’t conceive of letting go of my A7C (until maybe the next version) and my A7r3. I went through several systems and even trotted down the Leica Bunny Trail for a bit, Sony is a good choice so I’m glad you stayed with Sony so I can tune in to your channel for shooting tips. Anyone here ever thought of having a Monochrome conversion done to your A7C instead of selling it?
Thanks for sharing. Yeah, lenses either make it or brake it. Pretty much.
For a serious amateur would you recommend a Fugi XT5 (or possibly XS 20?)
Would you recommend Fugi over an OM 4/3rds camera?
I have not used the XT5 or the XS20, so I can't really recommend either. The XS20 looks like a good value though. I'd probably go for Fuji, but a decision like that is always highly personal.
hi, You can program the a7c memory buttons (123) to shoot w/e you want regards to settings.. a74 is better of course but the downside you mentioned isn't really a downside.
Please, read the pinned comment.
@@mattisulanto that’s the general idea of programmable buttons ;)
@@architecture_logs Yes, it is, but the switch (photo to video switch) on the A7IV does work the same way. If you think the A7C is your perfect camera, I'm happy for you. For me the A7IV works better.
I think the decision is much easier if you already have sony lenses. In the end if someone changes the whole system is more expensive, because when you sell your lenses there is allways some "depreciation" in the second hand markt. The sony a7 IV is a great camera and the sony system has more lenses than any other system. Great video, Matti!
Thanks. Yes, changing the whole system is always a pain and should be considered very carefully.
Thanks so much for sharing. It's sad that Nikon has almost abandoned our country.
Thanks. I'd like to see the A7CII as well.
With the A7c, you can use the 1, 2 and 3 presets on the dial, two for video and one for photo for instance. But the A7IV is more convinient for sure.

Cheers Jess
Thanks for sharing. I really don't see any reason to replace your current set up😀
Agree. Thank God for Sony! Without them there would be no mirrorless, there would be no eye AF or stacked sensors etc. etc. How lucky are we!
Panasonic created the mirrorless camera.
@@clydewilson9105 Yes as Stephen said. So good!
This warmed my heart
Hello sulantoblog, would you reconmend I buy this camera for street photography? and I am an EVF guy, so should I buy for street? Thank you
It's a good camera and if you like it, you can most probably take street photos on it too.
Thanks for sharing. Those custom modes can work.
An a7C II with some tweaks would be great, though Sony won't want to impinge on their A7IV sales, but front dial, better EVF, seperate photo and video settings, and maybe second card, and more people would not feel like they are compromising too much with it.
Interesting to see if there ever will be an A7CII.
Would love to see a7cii with better viewfinder and a7iv sensor

I don’t understand product-haters, whether photo, software, or computer. It is unproductive and wasted energy that only feeds into the “tribalism” we see everywhere, such as religion, politics, and even sports. I now have three brands: Panasonic, Fujifilm, and most recently Canon (which I thought I would never own!). I appreciate the strengths of each and the reality is that my family and friends can’t tell the difference between their resulting photos. I thought that your purchase of the A7c this last year was (and still is) a declaration that you care more about the end result: the images. What a concept!
Thanks for your encouraging comment😀
Now... in a year or two, will we see the "I SOLD my a7 IV" video from you, when the a7C II with updated processors and 4K60 is released? ;)
Thanks for sharing your opinion. We'll see what happens in two years😀
Terve Matti.

Thanks for sharing.
I've bought and sold the A7s and a7r iii within months. I guess I AM JUST the CRAZY one.
I’m the same but the opposite, so I only shoot Sony. I think it’s a feel thing. I really dig the Fujis, but really invested in Sony glass.
I thought you can set different settings with the 3 custom settings on the dial. Make ne for video and another for photo. Not the case? What are those three dials for then?
Please read the pinned comment, it's the first and always visible.
@@mattisulanto I missed that. Why would you not always want them to set to the same settings or make two separate most used settings? Rookie!!!

Thanks for sharing, very interesting indeed.
Weird, other reviews say one of the improvements over the A7III are the seperate settings for photo and video. So whats the truth? Very confusing.

Nice camera but I keep on running into people who complain about the quality of the switches and plastics on the Sonys
I've owned Sony cameras before and never had build quality issues, but I can only speak for myself of course.
Thanks.
Thanks. Canon makes great cameras and who knows, maybe some day I'll add a Canon to my arsenal as well😀
I almost went with Sony but then Nikon released the Z9.
It's win, win for
us consumers.

Matti, this was a nice video: your explanation was very thorough.
Did you consider a Panasonic S5, once you decided to switch from the A7C?
The S5 is a better camera overall, but I wanted the best video AF. I made hundreds of UA-cam videos with Lumix cameras and every time I wished I had a reliable AF for video.
A very good reason which I didn't think about. Cus I also switch from both video and photo so that would annoy me too

Thanks for sharing. The size of your set up really depends on the lenses. If you need tele lenses, then FF can get pretty big and heavy.
What about Sony A7 Riii which is cheaper ?
No, fully articulating screen, which is a must for my video production. Th A7IV is also better for video in general.
Thanks for sharing. The A7C has the new FZ-100 battery, which is a big improvement.
It's just crazy that it doesn't have the bird eye af..
I hope to get a Sony medium format with curved sensor soon :-)
Does is there a record time limit?
I actually don't know, but I'm sure Sony website can tell you.
Sometimes it is just how they feel in your hand, in the past, sony's and fuji's where too small for me. Now, that is different.
That is an important point. Too small is too small😀 The grip on the A7IV is really good and an improvement definitely.
Why not Lumix S?
Because the video AF is not reliable for the kind videos I make.
I’ve looked into the A7iv, but I just can’t justify a $2500 USD camera with a lower resolution back LCD screen than my $800 G95.
Good point😅
So hopefully you don't become much bad comments. Feel free to buy/use, what you want.
I only can speak for myself. My own experience with Sony isn't good:
I had an Alpha 6500, a RX 100 III and a Sony A7 III.
Thanks. Sorry to hear about your bad experiences.
the important thing is to photograph. It's true
I don’t concern myself with what equipment anyone else uses, I just try to do the best with what I have. I see people doing tremendous work with antiquated gear that most people would consider worthless. I happen to hate Sony as a company, so the chances of me buying any of their cameras is extremely remote.

Yeah i agree with you about camera brand.. there is no camera brands that can fulfill everybody’s need.. my notion of the best camera, it will be the best once it fits with my wallet.. hahaha
Well said!😀
I regret buying my Sony mirror less, the battery is horrible, it loses power just sitting in the bag.
That certainly sounds really bad.
@KitJames I take out the battery, when not in use, just to stop the battery going dead. It’s too bad because I was looking forward to using it often.
Great perspectives in this video. I think Sony did a lot to wake up and shake upthe other camera manufacturers. From that we all are the beneficiaries of more competition and choices.
Thanks.
I thought you would tell us that you are back to Lumix. Seriously! I think the best camera is that you love to use! Enjoy!
Thanks. Lumix AF does not work for one man UA-cam production team😀
I do not mind sony - I just have enough other cameras but my fuji x-t3 has everything I need even if the AF of Sony is the best
Thanks.
I will keep my sony a7c for traveling and will wait for Sony a7R5.
I love your hat. Good point.
Thanks!
Good choice , I went from g9 & s5 to Sony a7r3 and have not regreted it . I kept my favourite street camera the gx80 with 2 lenses and sold the rest. Enjoy your new Camera Matti.
Thanks!
In the Land of Mordor where the shadows lie. One camera to rule them all, one camera to find them, One camera to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them; In the Land of Mordor where the shadows lie.
May this new camera makes you happy. :)
Thanks. It makes my video production happier😀
What did you purchase to replace the A7C and why?
Mask On Nurse Marty
Are you kidding me? Please watch the video, it's all there. I even put the time stamps below for those who like to skip to a certain point in the video.
love it! love from India!
Thanks.
It makes me laugh because the auto focus is still the best in the business on a Sony camera.
If somebody hates Sony, make sure they get their facts right first.
I've sold all my M43 gear and trying to determine my next step. Down to just a Fujifilm x100v for now.
Hey, that sounds really awesome.
7:22 That is not a Sony A7C, I like the design of the 7C, but not the quality and the low resolution EVF, I think the Sony A7C are the most stupid in the Sony A7 series. I have the Sony A7RIV and A7RIVA I love them !
Well spotted😀 That indeed is not an A7C.
The A7IV is a great option!
Yes, it is!
I like your cap....
Thanks.
Time for a medium format
There is no real digital medium format and not going back to film😀
give away is always better option as to sell 😃
Sure is for the receiver at least😀 I wonder would give away one more A7IV...
Just have saved you video settings to 1 2 3 than put everything to normal in M. Problem solved.😘
It does not solve my problem, but if it solves yours I’m happy for you.
Small camera, big lenses.
You can choose, small lens or big lens or really BIG😀
@@mattisulanto Sure, but presumably you buy that camera for compactness. Love your videos.
congratulations on your new camera. I am a Panasonic Lumix user. But more than everything i like photograph AND video, where Lumix shines. I hate Sony for sure though! Have fun!
Thanks!
Its the same as women selecting which man they wanna be married to.
Whats great for me, might be crappy or merely medicre to others.
We all hv flaws.
Some women can accept our shortcomings, accept them and adapt to them.
The A7C is a hot woman. But you’ll need to spend loads of money on over-priced bulky
lenses to make it perform at its best. Can you afford such a woman? 😂😂😂
sony is the best, but their build quality is subpar.
Nothing compact about full frame, even with A7C, people overhyped ít, until they slap f2.8 zoom lenses on.
thank you 🇺🇦✌🏻
Thank you too!
AMEM MATTI!!!!
Thanks bro! We have a shoot to do, one of these days😀
