@Nikki Bryant A human body can only shed 1% of body fat a week. So a 200lb person could lose say 8lbs of fat in a month. Losing 18lbs would include some muscle loss as well as loss of water as the fat disappeared. Fat loss is the most important target of course.

Hey Autumn, what are your thoughts on rucking? That is to carry a loaded backpack while walking. I personally enjoy it a lot more than running or walking, but I would like to hear what you think.
It's great when you want more calorie burn but are at your max for time. For people who are obese, they already have plenty of weight on their joints and it is unnecessary.
What about run/walk? If you walk 5 mins and jog 5 mins? Does this help reduce the cortisol that was increase during the 5 mins jog? And keep a good balance?
Walking keeps your cortisol levels low. Jogging/running leads to higher cortisol but she'd have more info on what's beneficial. Jogging isn't bad within itself just depends on your goals
I like to take a long brisk walk and incorporate short 30-40 second sprints every 5-6 minutes of the walk, after an initial 10-12 minute warm up. QUESTION! If anyone is even still reading these! Since I only really have about 45 min per day to walk, would incorporating ankle weights offset the lack of steps I get in each day? Or would that make more stress hormones and become counterproductive?
Wouldn’t recommend it. Wearing ankle weights would help with burning extra calories as a result of the increased energy required, but that would put unnecessary strain on your ankle joints and surrounding muscles. Would definitely be more likely to lead to injury. Especially if you roll your ankle, that would put major strain on your ATF if there were ankle weights equipped. If you have reduced time and wanna fit in a more intense exercise, I would recommend just picking up the pace or finding a more hilly area to walk. Or if you’re using the treadmill just bump up the incline.
Personally I believe walking is a more fluent and efficient motion, which enables you do more in terms of chipping away at your fitness goals every day, rather than having off days because of the psychical impact than running has.
I don't put so much emphasis on the number of steps, I think it is more important to emphasis TIME walked, time spent in light to medium exercise. I have to 30k or I cant sleep. Walking is fantastic got me from 37 percent body fat to a six pack about 12 percent. I also lost 4 stone. Unfortunately due to insomnia bulking is very tough. I'm not allowed run as my body fat is so low.
Walking always helps me with weight loss compared to running and strength training. For someone if I do the latter I actually gain weight but when I walk I see the scale go down 🤷♀️
I walk pretty fast...I'd be hard pressed to walk any faster without being more comfortable jogging. Usually I walk at a speed of 6.5 kms/hr (4 mph). Usually I cover over 8,000 steps in that time. From what I understand it takes approximately 8km (5 miles) to reach 10, 000 steps. Probably depending on your height and stride length...I'm average height for a woman. So I think it would be pretty hard to get 10,000 steps in an hour without throwing in some jogging or running.
Walking 10,000 steps and expecting to lose weight is a lie. Yes you can walk 10,000 steps and lose weight but you need to change your life, don't sit or lie down the whole day for more than 20 minutes, u have to b super active, no alcohol and sleep well at night.

Want To Break The Coffee Habit? A 10 minute walk will give you as much energy as a cup of coffee. (Without the side effects and withdrawals) Ive been doing this for many years. I don’t drink coffee or plan or starting anytime soon. You can add short walks in thru out the day instead of overloading your system with caffeine and overworking your adrenaline glands.
Who on earth can walk at 5 mph? If I set my treadmill at 5 mph, I'm definitely at a jog. Maybe a tall person with long legs could do that. Edit: You mentioned a step tracker. What are your thoughts on the EMF exposure?
Haha! I was thinking the same thing. My height is considered short so 3.5 on the treadmill for me is a fast paced walk, anything higher than that becomes a jog.

I haven’t done a specific brand review, but I have a video on ACV pills in general that you can check out here: ua-cam.com/video/vTRy4AtKwA4/v-deo.html
Thank you! Started watching your videos back in January and learned a lot from them.
Keep up the great work 😁
you get my heart rate going
I'm a fast walker and it takes about 1hr and half of straight fast walking to hit about 10k steps a dayi.
About 1000 steps per 10 minutes. Then 10k steps are sone where a round 100 minutes which is about one hour and 40 minutes.
8000 steps took 70 min today
Started 3 days ago, gained 2 kgs I'm not sure how
Walking is an excellent tool, but I’d also recommend taking a look into sleep and food as well. I have a playlist on optimizing sleep and a playlist on how to lose weight without counting calories that you may be interested in!🤓❤️
Water weight most probably
I did 10 km for 5 months I loss 14 kg I was weight 84 kg now 69 kg wow 🙏😘
Want To Break The Coffee Habit?
A 10 minute walk will give you as much energy as a cup of coffee. (Without the side effects and withdrawals) Ive been doing this for many years. I don’t drink coffee or plan or starting anytime soon. You can add short walks in thru out the day instead of overloading your system with caffeine and overworking your adrenaline glands.
It takes me two hours to get 10k 😒 I just don't have that kind of time!
Starts answering the question at 3:00… tldr: depends on how fast you walk. Roughly 1hr 40 for a leisurely walk
1 hour and 30 minutes
A slice of American yellow cheese equals 30min on a treadmill.
I have to walk 10 k just to get to work.
Who on earth can walk at 5 mph? If I set my treadmill at 5 mph, I'm definitely at a jog. Maybe a tall person with long legs could do that.
Edit: You mentioned a step tracker. What are your thoughts on the EMF exposure?
you must be fun at parties...
@@ari_is_sorry A total hoot
Nobody unless you're an Olympic level speed walker. 3mph is more normal for the average hight of women. 3.2mph for taller people/men.
Ruthee Really? 3mph is 5kph, I’d be nearly into a jog I must walk slow 😳
Haha! I was thinking the same thing. My height is considered short so 3.5 on the treadmill for me is a fast paced walk, anything higher than that becomes a jog.
I wish you would talk a little slower. Lost interest when I couldnt understand you!
Power Walk
5 mph is a running speed for me…. How would you be able to walk that fast 😂 #shortpeopleproblems
10,000 steps takes me 1 hour 38 minutes.
Fat loss over weight loss
10,000 steps is 4.5 miles for me. 2 and a half hours. I've walked 81 miles in February 2021 3 miles an hour is crazy fast walking. Who the hell walks that fast? I turn my treadmil to 3mph and I can barely keep up. Nobody walks that fast, unless you're 6'5" or taller.
3:40 you're welcome
sorry, the speed talking and constant fast hand movements, put me off, finishing the video.
I can do 10k steps in 40 min, 5 miles in one hour.
It takes me 10 min to walk 1,000 steps
You're married? Wait a sec, what was all that "one out of a million" talk?!!
An hour and a half roughly …
Uhhh yeah
Takes me 90 minutes.
I get around 1k every 10m
wide angle lens. love looking up your nostrals
If you add weight you will increase your calories burned. Think a weight vest. Or dumbbells 🎉
Coach Greg would beg to disagree. Then again, he's full of crap a LOT of the time. Autumn is legit.
I have crush on you in 5 sec .
The boops are very annoying
Those popups with the sounds just make me leave your videos, fourth one… bye!
I find about 1.5hrs.
OMG! WHYDOYOUSPEAKSOFAST?
Any tips on how to get 10k steps a day while you have a 2 yo? My neighborhood is not a stroller friendly 🥹
