I made Solo’s meal tonight! I messed it up though. I forgot the wor. Sauce (can’t spell or pronounce it🤣) and the tomatoes. It was still amazing and the fam loved it. I decided I’m going to cook a meal from every country in 2020. Thank you for the inspiration ❤️

Tonight we made the Kenyan dish! We are vegetarian so used one package BOCA veg crumbles which is just like hamburger, collard green, and kale. It was delicious and we had it with brown rice. Just salt and pepper but the sour cream made a great sauce! Thanks and we will make this again! We love greens.

Worcestershire sauce is pronounced "woustershur' (as in would). Of course I'm east anglian/south english so I don't know how northerners pronounce it. Love the Ndengu btw, so do my vegan friends. Whenever I make for a shared lunch it disappears fast! I'll probably try a vegan version of the kale and spinach dish with lentils or beans. Home-made tomato, borlotti bean and black kale soup is a favourite of mine for winter lunches. ❤❤❤

I have never made Sakuma wiki with meat or sour cream. The first time I made it I didn't even have sour cream but I had cream cheese so I used it and it was really nice but I mostly make it with kale, spinach, onion, tomato, and some garlic OR I use collard greens and spinach if I don't get kale. Mine is not very "authentic" in the sense that it doesn't cook down into a smooth consistency like I've had in some restaurants, but we love it and my husband (also from East Africa, Tanzania) makes ugali to scoop up his Sakuma wiki.

Hi Sarah, hope you have all had a really lovely Christmas.
This Christmas I got a pressure cooker... currently trying to work it all out 🤣😳
Can I just pretty much make up recipes, once I get the hang of it? I’ve never cooked in one before. It’s kind of daunting! I have beans in cooking right now - new Mum toys! 😄
