Exactly. He just slowly walks in and that makes all the difference in the world. It should be shown and teached to at Actor's studio. There is a lot of anticipation in a crowd of more than 300'000 people. How can you make that anticipation grow even more and then subjugate the crowd? Well ... just watch Rob Halford doing it

@@DirtyDoctorDan these lyrics are cheesy ?
The lyrics in “Electric Eye” describe how satellites can watch your every move on earth, how we are being monitored…..
the lyrics are quite ahead of their time. Even though they had satellites in early 1980, there was not a lot compared to today.
Lyrics are inspired by the book “1984” by George Orwell, where “Big Brother” is called Electric Eye and he watches over everybody and knows what they do.
This song might be the one with the least cheesy lyrics in Judas Priest entire discography, and it portrays todays reality for a large portion of the world.
So, when you claim these lyrics are cheesy, you show that you have absolutely zero clue, about anything or anyone.

Let's not forget he was facing a crowd of more than 300'000 people! During the rehearsal he probably counted the steps necessary to appear at the perfect moment ("I am made of metal"). His timing was perfect and the coup-de-theatre of starting to sing without being on stage was phenomenal, because the anticipation just kept growing.

I had this on 8-track when I was fourteen. Screaming for vengeance opens with The Hellion/Electric Eye and the first time I heard it, it blew me away. I've been a fan ever since. The lyrics to Electric Eye were foreshadowing what we are experiencing today, very prescient.

Judas Priest, POR SIEMPRE 🔥❤

Had the absolute privilege of finally seeing them live two years ago. The fact that Halfold sounds even better now is insane. Half the bands from the 90's don't even sound half as good as Priest does 55 years after their founding.

You aint a shittin'........I just saw them last week in Nashville......and the concert was AWESOME. I never was a big fan of Queensryche but they did OK for the opening. But when it was time for Priest, it all came together! I travelled from Cincinnati to Nashville with my two oldest kids to see the show. It was my 3rd time seeing them and my kids(they grew up listening to Priest) first time. It was a great experience we got to share as a family and I will never forget it. And you are RIGHT, it IS life REAFFIRMING! It was refreshing to know that the things that influenced me and make up who I AM and were part of my kids lives growing up is STILL there in this crazy ass backwards world. It was GOOD and MUCH NEEDED FUN. And I thank God that I had the opportunity to see them WITH my kids.....
