It’s 2024 and I just finished a spectacular weekends with friends and we all came to the consensus that they’re the best band to see in concert - nothing compares to the energy and sound that AC/DC unloads.
I’m the same age as you, turned 57 3 weeks ago, grew up on AC/DC, Cheap Trick, DLR-era Van Halen, Ramones, and late 70’s and early 80’s Punk/New Wave… and I saw all those bands live, multiple times. They were great for sure, but the first 3 times I saw Van Halen (first time was in the fall of ‘79), they couldn’t be touched live. They just blew everyone else away in those days.

My grandfather was a huge rock fan and I grew up on pop music. My mom showed me the 80s but my grandfather had a collection from 40s to 90s. When I was a little kid my grandfather and i decided to watch School of Rock. He wasn't a big fan of my movies but when we saw that movie he busted out with his vinyls and really put me on ACDC. His collection is huge and if you ask him who his fav band was he'd flat out say "The Rolling Stones" My grandfather had the dirty deeds and those about to rock albums and I fell in love. My email revolved around ACDC and I admired Angus Young more than any other guitar player. Still do i suppose. My grandfather died on April 24th of this year and he went to his final resting place on May 17th. Coincidentally both the day he was supposed to be cleared and also the day this band went on tour. I am so grateful my pops showed me this band and I'm happy this is what i remember him THE MOST for, IN MUSIC. Rest in peace Captain Salgado❤ you really were a LIVE WIRE

I know, I'm 12 and I've been discovering music for about a year, and I went straight to 70's and 80's songs (thanks to being introduced by Some of my friends and my Mum). Goodness new music is terrible
Guys I am 64 this year and they played at my school dances in the early 70's. Angus was only 18 when the band was formed - I think in 1973. They were just beginning back then but had so much energy and raw talent.
Wow, This song just Rocks . Still was in 8th grade when this came out. One of the best rock songs ever... That whole album is stellar to say the least...Just pure Rock and roll, killin it!!!!!
Never before and never again will there be another band as brilliant as AC/DC. Their 4/4 no frills and fills straight ahead rock and roll is the pure sonic genius next level easybeat Young family gift to us all. Add to that the power of Phill and Cliff and the street poetryof Bon. Born in Sydney Australia, thank you forever more.
24 year old. Yet I grew up on classic rock, AC/DC was the one band that captivated me. I remember my dad burning cds of just all AC/DC songs for me. I’ll play them nonstop, it was to the point I dressed like Angus Young to school, wearing ties and the British school uniform even tho my school didn’t require a uniform, haha. Surprisingly no kids teased me, and I had a lot of friends. I even had a teacher who got me all AC/DC’s live concerts on dvd my obsession died down as I got a little older but my love and appreciation for them never left. my all time favorite band.
If there was ever any doubt that Bon was the greatest front man ever, this classic dispels all doubts. Such a brilliant vocal performance and presence!

Thankfully GTA V/ Rockstar made justice to this song!
It's not underrated. Like "Night Prowler" this is just a song only Bon could really sing.

i think that same thing every time l hear this song-im 60 i do not remember this tune.
This has the best rhythm guitar part ever. Thanks Malcolm for a wonderfully badass legacy we'll never forget
True. Deceptively difficult to get right.
Angus himself said in several interviews, that he believed Mal was a better player than him..
Your so right!
Malcolm was like a wall of thunder coming at you. No need to go up the dusty end for Mal
Such a powerful song love the climax part at the ending . Arliges double bass drums sound like a locomotive going down the track.
This message was meant for white snakes love ain't no stranger.
Highway to Hell. The best hard rock album to me of all time. Not one track that doesn't chill you to the bone! I'm your night prowler baby!
Yep no same after Bonn Gary x
Amen, the brian johnson era of AC/DC was good, but the Bon Scott albums were ... ... ... the first pure HARD ROCK AND ROLL.
This is surprisingly one of the most underrated AC/DC songs. It's so damn brilliant. 🤘🤘

It sounds like vintage Def Leppard because Mutt Lang produced it and for the record this song came first.
This song is terribly underrated, probably their best one. Love the heavy metal vibes you can feel in this masterpiece ! 🤘
many of Bon's songs are underrated
For me it's the words......too much for my body, too much for my brain, this damn woman's gonna drive me insane. I might have been told before that I can drive a man insane!!!!!!!!!
This is my favorite "Bon" song. The opening lyrics, "it was one of those nights when you turn out the lights, and everything comes into view" coupled with the sultry music really sets the tone of the song and you visualize it. I freaking love it.
@@vicki2451 Me too. She was taking her time I was losing my mind, there was nothing that she wouldn't do. I've lived my life by this song. I do love a lot of others but it's Touch too much.

Check out the book, 'The rational male' by Rollo Tommassi, you'll come to understand that many men are onto female games and tactics and that you might want to reconsider your games before the rug gets ripped out from under you. The times, they are a changin!
I'm just going to leave this comment here specifically so that if someone likes it, I'll get a notification and be reminded to listen to this masterpiece again.
Perhaps, arguably, THE best overall AC/DC song ever! Has it all! Melody, lyrics, arrangement , lead, dynamic changes. Just kills!!!!!🤘🤘

For a concert I prefer whole lotta rosie
RIP Malcolm Young . May you have a drink on me in Rock n Roll's Heaven with Bon Scott .... We'll miss you both .

Fab14630 you is a beautifull AC/DC fan!
Brian Johnson is an awesome front man / vocals for AC/DC but so many forget or even know how badass Bon Scott was. Very few bands strike lightning twice with great vocals.

With Brian Johnson on the vocals you feel like you're listening to the same song all the time.
@@brunolanasantos5604 I don’t think it’s that bad but I get it.
@@brunolanasantos5604 YES this was always my problem with AC/DC until I fond out about Bon Scott LOL I didn't know about him and never liked AC/DC because all the songs sounded the same to me but Bon Scott is AMAZING!
yes precisely
Listened to this when it came out, and here I am all those years later, I'm a pro musician, Vocalist and Studio Engineer, and this STILL blows me away with just how f🧲ckin powerful a track it is. The Performance and the Production have not aged one bit, only like fine wine, it just gets even better💚

His collection is huge and if you ask him who his fav band was he'd flat out say "The Rolling Stones"
My grandfather had the dirty deeds and those about to rock albums and I fell in love. My email revolved around ACDC and I admired Angus Young more than any other guitar player. Still do i suppose.
My grandfather died on April 24th of this year and he went to his final resting place on May 17th. Coincidentally both the day he was supposed to be cleared and also the day this band went on tour. Never appreciated this back in the day…but a wit and lived in sense…great.
he really wrote about his experience & brian johnson like the ramones or chuck berry in the 50 wrote only thinking in the boys of high school

He was awesome and he didn't care about money he wanted to just put on a hell of a show for everyone he was Rock And Roll 🎸🎶🎸
