Indesit Washer Dryer problems... not spinning. Please Help

Washer dryer not spinning. Indesit model. Please leave info and help. Water drains no issue there but the dryer stopped spinning between wash and dry yesterday night. Help would be much appreciated

Sounds like it could be the carbon brushes on the motor. Try doing a spin only setting and if the drain pump is running but the drum won't spin then I would say it could be the brushes on the motor that need replacing.

Hi mate. Thank you for responding. The drain pump appears to work, no water is left in the machine but as you say the machine wont spin on either wash or dry. I see they are quite cheap, seen a video on how to install them but it looks complex so probably need someone out. If you are in the Bournemouth area is there anyone you would suggest?

@@Kcge-tp6xq forgot to mention that I work at Domestec.co.uk hence why I found your videos.. but looking at your other videos it sounds like the bearings have failed so that could be the cause of the issue if the belt has come off the pulley on the motor if not then it still could be the motor brushes but wouldn't be worth fixing due to the cost of replacing the bearings. Hope this helps

I have the same washing machine it's new and has been used 3 times now the clothes come out very wet after every wash.

Check the pcb board some of smd or capacitor burn out or triacs

Cheers mate you were right managed to get Indesit out to come and have a look and under their scheme it only costs £20 a month for 6 months. Plus I get that £120 back off a new machine if I wish then or can renew and get £240 off a new machine in a years time
