If an error code doesn’t go away after rebooting the machine I will generally google it and if it looks complicated I just replace the machine as the cost for an engineers visit is often a decent percentage of a new machine and no guarantee it will be fixed and then there are costs for parts and the time without a working machine. just fixed my f05 error after watching this video.. took the pump out and disconnected all the hoses, found a small sock had that somehow mad its way to just above the white ball in the big black rubber hose under the drum. after clearing it all out and checking for other debris, it still did the f05 error until ran the machine without the pump cover on, then it cleared it.

I have no blockages and the waste pipe has no blockages or anything, I get the f05 code then turn machine off and on again and it drains the water but it leaves loads of black bits in the machine…… I took off all the drum paddles and cleaned them all and the rim of the drum cleaned it all fully… and still black bits all inside the machine

This video is solid gold. Thank you.
This is the most useful video on youtube. Thank you.
I'm really pleased the video was helpful to you. Could you do me a favour and take part in a poll I've made about the lifespan of appliances? You just need to tick one of two boxes. It will only take about 10 seconds. This might help us improve how machines are made in the future.
Here's the poll question: www.youtube.com/@How-to-repair/community
Also sharing will get more people to participate and we will have a greater impact with the manufacturers thank you for helping.
Thank you very much, best ever video I found online.
We’re trying to go to mars and companies still haven’t figured out how to do printers and washing machines properly 😂
Brilliant the way you explain things is so understandable then you show us too thanks so much 😊
I get very humbled by your comment. All I'm trying to do is teach in the correct way that everyone understands. It would be really helpful for me to get my video shared and help us fight appliance waste! Please remember to subscribe to our channel, as that really helps us 😇

Since we work very hard in our warehouse making free video guides for you all on appliances, we always appreciate a beer, offering a choice of single or round beer. www.how-to-repair.com/help/buy-paul-a-beer/ Thanks 👍
you would think that they could have easily put an inspection trap with a large holed filter before the pump, that could be accessed from the front of the machine. it's not rocket science and these companies could do a lot more to make their machines better. great video, best i've found on youtube.

Our f05 turned out to be 'colour catcher' sheets stuck against the ball in the sump hose!

Thank you ever so, I bought a indesit washing machine last year and now its started to make a screech noise, when spinning and doesn't use the fabric conditioner or drain🤦♀️, I've drained the water(from machine) and it had a new hose fitted. the other week?
The Celt is is working.
I've rebooted it 6times in 12secs.
But its still not working?
So any advice? Please?

just fixed my f05 error after watching this video.. took the pump out and disconnected all the hoses, found a small sock had that somehow mad its way to just above the white ball in the big black rubber hose under the drum. after clearing it all out and checking for other debris, it still did the f05 error until ran the machine without the pump cover on, then it cleared it.

What if you have done all of this, cleaned and cleared everything, replaced the pump for a new identical one, and it still throws the error at the end of the cycle but drains it in the cycle?

Thanks a lot for the donation mate. I will use it to upgrade my video quality!
Thank you...Greetings

Brilliant video, I have a hotpoint ultima WDUD9640. When using the tumble dryer the clothes come out wet I can feel the heat when the door opens. Do you have any idea what could be the issue ?
Regards
Stuart
This will be to do with the machine, not condensing and getting rid of the water. I would suggest you have a look at my videos to do with condenser dryers. Here is my latest one, but it's on a Beko but the principles will still apply ua-cam.com/video/OwDaZa-QOi8/v-deo.html and here is the older video on Hotpoints ua-cam.com/video/HIhgzymYxMo/v-deo.html I will be doing an updated version at a later stage sorry I've got no up-to-date ones, What would really help me to get my video seen as I'm no IT expert is to either share the channel or at least post it to your friends my videos might not be UA-cam superstars, but they save Appliances from the scrapheap. @How-to-repair Hi, I found a blockage on the tank that run underneath the fan. I used the hoover detailing kit to hoover out the blockage and a coat hanger to hook it.
Thanks for the advice 🙏
Please what if it’s the control board?
if the control board is faulty, then you either have to find out if there are any blown circuits or you will need to replace the PCB
Done what he said and it worked - I had to take the hoes with the ball off and found a ripped bit of clothing blocking the ball so I removed it and it worked - 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
