- We’re going to be taking a look at some exporting settings that I’d recommend for action camera and GoPro edits in Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. It's well worth doing some experimentation to find the settings that work best for your use-case; however, this should provide a good starting point to begin with.

Thanks! this worked!
Great video. I am having an issue with some clips being blurry/pixelated AFTER I upload to UA-cam. Hoping higher bitrate will do the trick.
Hopefully this helps - UA-cam’s compression can sometimes be quite aggressive which can result in the pixelation.
This is what is happening to me, I am shooting 1080/60fps on my Gopro7 and when I play the clips looks good, and after the render the quality goes down, it looks pixilated
It sounds like that is definitely something to do with your final output bitrate, I hope you found this video helpful.
@RichardTech, how do you get the "Export Tab'?
I see I had missed an update with Premiere Pro, it is in now :)
Is it normal for DR to take 12-13 mins to render a 2 min video? I have adjusted the settings in DR and no matter what I do, it still takes a while. Premiere renders out in less than 2 mins for a 2 min file.
If you’re using the free version I’d Resolve that is most likely normal as it will not let you use GPU acceleration to render unless you have the Studio version.
What was the difference in the Premiere Pro and Resolve outputs, i.e., file size, quality, etc.?
When using the same bitrate, both provide a similar result and filesize with minimal differences. Thanks for watching!
I cant even get my gopro footage to show up in Prem pro? just audio. are you converting to import?
I'm not converting before importing, what settings are you using?
@@RichardTech well i Cant even get my videos from the go pro hero 9 to prem Pro (CS6) they only show up in my timeline as audio, i have tried all the online fixes, and have used adobe media encoder to change the format without success. im a real beginner. can you suggest a sequence to use for go pro?
Are both the A1 and V1 track labels highlighted blue? I’ve had it in the past where only the A1 is highlighted so only audio was being imported into the sequence which caught me off guard!
@@RichardTech Yes indeed! i cant even drag and drop into the project panel or use media browser to import. i just get audio files.
This same thing is happening to me. Did you figure a work around? I can use shutter encoder to convert that that is a time consuming extra step. Very unhappy with gopro right now that I can't import directly into a major editor like Premier.@@colinmagee6648
Can't I just export my gopro video with the original settings and look just like the recording?
Yes you can!
i used this setting but quality isnt good . sky looks like some squres
You may need to increase your bitrate further. Thanks for watching!
