Your information on cropping left and right on Reels is very helpful! Nobody mentions this important point! Thank you so much for clarifying this. I'm having this issue when exporting from AE to IG Reels at 1080 1920 and wondered what the hell was happening!

This is incredible, thank you! Just a heads up for others out there trying to figure out how to create a new sequence WITHOUT importing media (because the "New Item" icon was missing on my end), you can go to File > New > New Sequence, and you should be able to see the same settings as Anthony :)

It seems that when I view the final clip on my computer all of the aspect ratios are correct but when I upload the video to Instagram from my computer the video is zoomed in and the format changes. I started using Pr only because of you and your videos hahah. But bro my laptop struggles alot haha. Can't wait to build a PC this month. Getting I5 12600K, 32G RAM, 1TB SSD and RTX 3060. I hope this is a good setup
That's a solid build. My machine is a few years old, so it can struggle sometimes. I think an RTX card is in my future :)

Thank you, your proposed settings seem to address the audio issue, however I noticed that after exporting a video on Instagram from my iPhone the issue of audio clipping and distortion was still there a bit. I was wondering if you know how to fix it.
Blakk Bee Mac version seems to have so better support for certain midi devices. And not using the ASIO drivers has a lot to do with

Will it be weird if I use 24fps timebase and upload it to Instagram reels? (reels = 30fps)
Because I like to use 24fps since I heard it's more like movie shots.

when you change the bitrate, the preset switches to custom from your suggested adaptive high bitrate
thats why you hit save preset afterward.
adaptive high bitrate preset is just a starting point

Yes! I use a Google pixel! Try uploading over a stronger data connection like wifi!
Yes same! I tried everything but no matter the bitrate/resolution/framerate. IG always compresses my footage heavily :/

Do you recommend exporting to 1080 for TikTok and UA-cam Shorts as well?
Yes! The the resolution settings I use for both platforms are the same! Some people use 4K for Shorts, but TikTok only supports 1080p at the moment.

@@PierceJordan Shorts supports 4K. Partly because the file sizes and storage space would explode if I was shooting shorts in 4K. Also, if you watch the video I uploaded today, I tend to shoot everything in Horizontal and do a center-crop for 1080
