  • I needed a new tire pressure gauge and tire filler combo. I did a bunch of research and think I found the perfect product. What do you think?

*Great air pump **MyBest.Tools** Faster than my old plug in pump and twice as handy without having to drag the cord around. And it works with my existing Ryobi drills battery.*

A 0-200 PSI gauge with 1% accuracy is accurate to plus or minus 2 lbs. of the reading. A tip is to choose the lowest maximum tire pressure gauge that you need because, for example, a 0-60 PSI gauge with 1% accuracy is accurate to plus or minus 0.6 lbs. of the reading. In addition, the gauges are most accurate at the middle of their total range. I bought a 0-60 psi gauge for my automobile tires and a cheap 0-100 psi gauge to get me into the ballpark for the donut spare tire which takes 60 psi (the 0-60 psi gauge cautioned against exceeding 60 lbs due to possible damage.)

One thing I’ve noticed about UA-cam people is, they love to talk! I’ve watched a lot of UA-cam over the years it I believe you have beat them all! It took you over 10 minutes to say what you could have said in two or three. I just wanted to know which tire pressure gauge you thought was the best.
    Thanks Wrenchie

I bought v2 and it leaks 10 lbs of air out of my air tank per hour, brand new right out of the box day one. I seen several others on amazon complaining about the same thing. If you rapidly squeeze the trigger several times, you can at times get it to stop leaking, but will return again later. It's a shame because I like the feel & looks of it, but can't afford to have my air compressor keep replacing that lost air for no reason. I have my Milton analog hooked-up for years and it never drains so much as 1 lb, no matter how long I keep it on the hose. I shouldn't have to remove the Jaco every time I'm done with it to prevent it from draining. I returned it back to amazon, Jaco needs to QA every unit going out the door, obviously they're not.

Thanks for the research and review! You saved me a lot of time researching! That unit has all the features and quality I was looking for. I really like the flex hose and no-leak, no-hassle swivel connection valve design and high quality too! I ordered the 0-200 PSI (same as yours) one from Amazon -- worth every penny!

The most important thing about a tire pressure gauge is ACCURACY! Hope the Jaco really is accurate. Sorry, you could have covered this in just a few minutes. I had to skip ahead because of the boring crap. Thanks anyway for the useful parts.

Thanks, I just ordered one, it is version 2 with a dual function valve, (version one was all sold out)
I hope it works well with the different handle, but the top looks identical.

It's the simple things that seem to matter most. Those tools you use everyday that just work.

It was between this and the ARB601, but the Jaco has a lifetime warranty compared to ARB's 2 year warranty.

All needle air gauges are not accurate but can be opened up and calibrated. See online videos. I rely on my stick gauge but with a straight end. The gauge ends on an angle are a PITA. If it’s made in China like everything else today will not last.

Good information to know if and when I buy an air compressor. What type of air compressor do you recommend to go with the gauge? At present I used a bicycle pump that has a gauge and it works for me. As you mentioned, the right tire pressure varies depending on motorcycle weight, where you ride, your weight and other variables.

Any air compressor will work as long as it has enough PSI to inflate your tires. Mine goes to 150psi but it has nothing to do with the pressure gauge. I have one of those Bostich pancake compressors. Nothing really heavy duty but it lifts the bike lift which requires 110psi to function properly. I don't use air tools but I think they mostly operate below 100psi.

Hey wrenchie. How are you. I’ve been talking with Brock Davidson about possibly getting them to make a swing arm extension for the ninja 1000 or a z1000. All he needs is more people requesting this on the product request page on their website. Are you interested?? Or could you spread it to your fans. ? Thanks wrenchie

Hey Theo - Can you give me more info on what it is any why we might want it? If it makes sense, maybe we can collaborate on a video

    • @theozman38
      @theozman38 4 роки тому

Wrenchie. It’s swing arm extensions to lengthen your wheel base on your bike for better race launching and the whole appearance of the bike. He has a video of a zh2 getting extensions installed on a video he released today. Its not the one we need but ours have to made all new because of the unique design the rear wheel setup has. I’d like it on my bike because it’ll change the look and ride.im sure there’s more that I haven’t mentioned about the benefits or the detriment of have them. It’ll make the bike more stable at hard accelerations, it won’t wheelie as bad or if any plus you’ll have to lower the rear suspension to accommodate the longer wheelbase but, it’ll mean easier mounting the bike. Thanks wrenchie

theozman38 Extending for racing... drag racing? Can’t imagine a longer wheelbase is better for track days. Straight line, I can see that. But then, I’d want an H2 😏. I’ll check out his info.
