  • Fellow Patriots & Freedom lovers, I was peacefully exercising my 1st Amendment Rights at the Dekalb County Court House in Decatur, Georgia. At first, everything was going well, until I reached the Probation Department. I was confronted by Probation Officers & eventually the Chief who were all not only ignorant on our 1st Amendment Rights, but spoke to me as if I was on Probation. When they realized I wasn’t going to back down they changed their tune and didn’t interfere…then I got to the District Attorneys Office…Please be sure to hit the like button and share! it truly helps spread this around for more Patriots to see it and I appreciate it!

      Thanks brother for being the professional. We should hold ourselves to a higher standard if we are truly trying to affect changes. The drama auditors should take notes if they want to see how to audit correctly, but they aren't auditors. They are instigators looking for drama, which gets more views, more likes, and ultimately more money.

      To be fair, it's Georgia and we have a loitering/prowling law that allows officers to cl;aim they believe you are prowling and the law specifically states you then can be arrested for a class C misdemeanor if you do not give over your ID, purpose in the area, and address. It's unfortunate that it passed, I fought like hell, but, it passed so most law enforcement ask for ID and when you refuse, they immediately say, "I believe you're prowling" at which time you have to submit or you are violating the law and able to be arrested. It falls under Terry and the stop and ID court rulings, too so it has thus far held up to court challenges...

    I've been following the 1st Amendment community for almost a decade now. This style of auditing is by far the most effective and most peaceful way of exercising one's right to film in public.
    I can almost certainly guarantee that after LIA left, there were multiple discussions on his behavior and the legality of such behavior.
    Questions open the mind and are the very beginnings of education.
    Wonderful audit, I'm very impressed with the channel and can't wait to see more content.

    • @rsap80
      @rsap80 2 роки тому

      You want more LIA content? May I suggest the video where he lies about getting "thrown down the stairs", puts a boot on his "broken" ankle and spends over an hour walking on it, trying to get security guards fired instead of going to a doctor (or a lawyer!).
      Or maybe watch the one where he harasses people in a post office, an employee tells him to knock it off and then Sean lies to him about Poster 7. In that one, he also lies about police officers not having jurisdiction in post offices. He gets arrested and charged. Instead of hiring a lawyer and fighting the charges, he wrote a letter of apology to the cop who arrested him in a plea deal where he admitted guilt to trespassing and then had the nerve to beg us for money for "legal fees". For a guy who won't hire a lawyer to fight against "bogus" charges.
      How about the one where he goes on to PRIVATE property, someone's yard, and starts filming. He's not on public easement, he's walking around in someone's huge front yard. When a neighbor asks him what he's doing on private property, Sean calls him a "male Karen".
      Long Island Audit is a grifter who has done much more to criminalize auditing than he's done to protect our rights.

    It's always irritating to me how police always try to use rights in an illegal fashion. At the end, when those two officers were talking to the lady, they were conspiring to circumvent your fourth amendment right to anonymity. If you speak to them and ask why they are taking your photo, they always try to throw back the "It's my right to public photography" That is partially true, but their intent is really to figure out who you are and what your name and address is and run you through their databases without your consent and against your previously stated wishes. A person has the right to keep their identity confidential from the state so long as they are lawfully engaged and, in this case, in public. It's the little things, (kind of a big thing), like that, that continue to bolster my distrust in state actors. And yet they continue to wonder why no one trusts them. They are conniving and dishonest people at their hearts and should not be in a position of authority over anyone.

      Why?
      In order for this to be normal, you would have to have people walking around recording all day long, as the norm.
      The videographer always gets questioned….not just out of disdain, but because they’re the only ones they’ve seen doing that.
      It’s new.
      It’s foreign to them.
      It’s not regular that these types of situations actually represent important and thoughtful work that correlate to fairness for everyone.
      This auditor is one in a million.
      Maybe if people weren’t using their phone as some sort of validity, or walking off cliffs taking selfies…this would be taken a bit more seriously.
      There’s a WHOLE BUNCH of circumstances that correlate to why videographers get questioned.
      It’s not all about “disdain”.

    • @sendthis9480
      @sendthis9480 2 роки тому +1

      @EAMitch
      The first part I agree with.
      “Normal” and “common” are not the same. They do correlate, however…as what is common usually determines what is perceived as normal.
      That’s kind of my whole point.
      Your second part I’m a little lost.
      But…I’m just saying I don’t think videographers always get stopped out of disdain and attempt to control.
      This is EVERYONE’s public space….not just videographers. The rights you have to video…are sitting next to my rights to say
      “Hey man…what’s up. You filming me? Cool…is your camera one of those Hollywood ones that looses 10 pounds?”
      And sitting right next to your other rights to say “don’t worry about it. Leave me alone”.
      People are just figuring things out. Unfortunately exercising your rights is kind of a not so popular thing to do…but they’ll come around.
      Hanlon’s Razor fits well here:
      “Never attribute to malice, that which can be easily explained with stupidity”.
