Building the wiring harness to suit the new ecu and ignition.

Hopefully getting my ae86 back to being Roadworthy…ish.

Hey Roadworthy! Great job! As always, the algorithm doesn´t do justice... This is one of the cleanest custom harnesses I have ever seen, a little shame you had to recycle some broken connectors (here in Japan you can still find replacements), but, as a guy who bought a crazy Trueno Zenki with two harnesses installed from the previous owner (and terrifying turbo...), I would love to have the engine bay as you have there!
And about the exhaust manifold with surface rust, just apply a rust converter, it´s a little shame to have to add the heatshield there with that beautiful-looking stock setup. But of course, is your AE86! :)

The heatshield… yeah man, what Can I say… I wanted to go turbo at some point, so just didn’t care at that point. Well cared enough to make a horrible heat shield, but still….
Any rust converters you Would recomend.?
@@DavidRoadworthyish Well, you are lucky, you have the space and knowledge to do a turbo conversion, in my case I don´t have the tools enough and got an AE86 with so illegal turbo, so I have to return it to stock due Japanese laws... But it´s fine, I got with 70000km and the intention is to use as a daily, not like a racing car.
Here in Japan I use the one of SOFT99 brand, when you apply the first reaction is turning the rust into purple, and after curing it looks like black painted, but its not. In your case David I think it will be better if you can find the Würth one, I see similar results. Remember to use metal brush to lose all the surface rust particles first and then you are ready to go.

I´ll look into it. I used some left over stuff I had at some point, but I think it was over due, so it just fizzled and did nothing.. 😖
@@DavidRoadworthyish David, any recommendation with the injectors? I think my car is running too rich, having the original ones...
@CrakerMc if it’s the original ones, they might need a cleaning… but I went High resistance Only due to it beeing needed to run them pf the speeduino…

It’s some ebay embossed stainless heatshield. Quick work for at temp heat shield…
They are ready 4age 20v pnp speeduino with base maps selling cheaply also they support cop and many other things

The Injectors are KSM. I had to give them a try… so far, nothing but smooth sailing.

Sure thing. It´s brand new KSM motorsport 310cc injectors high impedance that swap right in the stock rails etc. I choose to try the KSM injectors as they do actually have an ok rep. They have NEVER done me wrong.
Sizewise I went with 310cc to be able to suply fuel if I wanted to go ITB or so.. maxing out at around 270 hk but still small to be able to idle, and low range tune properly...
Hi! How are you controling the idle? No pwm idle or stepper idle?
Idle was meant to be controlled by 3wire idle control valve plummed into the original idle port instead of the Stock wax capsule system… but Got a valve that was too Big, so ended up just pluggin the hole and running it solely on the idle Screw…

can you show the wiring diagram of the speeduino for the 4age?
The wiring for the speeduino is at the wiki page, and I’we done my own from that and the Stock wiring 4age diagram.
Basicly doing it as I go, and one wire at a time, making sure to keep everything tidy and labeled up.
I actually won’t have a full diagram, I’we just wired in what I needed.

It’s a stand alone with an analog 5v signal to the ecu.
With a LSU 4.2 type wideband.
You Can use any, as long as they have an analog output for the ecu
