I think those mutas dying should be remembered forever. Make a Meme or something. What a picture...like a muta implosion. Because you rarely catch mutas with archons.
Lol ya that should literally be impossible. He had 65 Drones at that point. So like 40 supply pushed off almost 100 supply of Zerg. At 200 supply max, Zerg is effectively never winning against that. The micro wasn't even impressive, he just warp microd like five units one at a time.
No it wasn't lol. He juggled like three immortals over a 45 second period of time. He was 75 supply down, that encounter should be virtually impossible to win

Lowko, it could be semantic satiation (a psychological phenomenon in which repetition causes a word or phrase to temporarily lose meaning for the listener, who then perceives the speech as repeated meaningless sounds). It's very interesting actually to look into these psychological things in our brains 😀
I really like seeing games of pros who are good not the very very top level. They make understandable mistakes, they look more human than someone like Serral or Clem.
23:29 really showcases the importance of the Immortal. Whenever I see a Protoss lose their lead, quite often it appears to be around the time they begin relying on mass stalker for the Immortal's job
Interesting how you Dutch people pronounce stuff. But when you typed it, I understood right away. In German it is "Schurke". But we pronounce it quite differently. Interesting :)
love to see it im ur biggest fan first min of game rouge commentary was epic love it made my day after i just won at the casnio big came home to this video capped my night off thanks lowko
Played a few custom melee matches with HotS and WoL patches last night. Starting with that few workers was a problem, but having 5 open supply instead of 3 gives you SO many more options in the first 20 seconds. They really should raise starting pop cap to 18.
for your rogue - rouge-start: "Je näher man ein Wort ansieht, desto ferner sieht es zurück." (Karl Kraus (1874 - 1936), österreichischer Schriftsteller, Publizist, Satiriker, Lyriker, Aphoristiker und Dramatiker)
that is the craziest pronounciation of Schurk you could have come up with LMAO, love it. It's pronounced like shurc would be in english (with a different R but that's hard to explain via text).
Love your content man! Though a suggestion, more for my own sanity. I have a habit of checking video lenghts while watching and sometimes that spoils the game heh. Maybe you could add some length to the video at the end so we don't know when the game actually end, maybe at least for the bigger matches. Just a suggest tho 🥰
Went and checked the Aligulac stats. PvZ is Protoss favoured, as usual, just shy of thr 55% mark. PvT seems to have been P favoured (slightly) for the last few months. The surprising thing is that TvZ winrate hasn't dipped below 50% the whole year, and for June broke the 55% barrier. That's big: PvZ has broken it multiple times, but this is the first time since at least January 2021 that TvZ or PvT has crossed the 55% waterline in either direction.
Crazy lol it's almost predictable because Blizzard literally just rebalanced the game so that would happen. It's not a skill change or a creative play-style change.
Lowko: we're still not seeing Protoss win premier protoss consistently Me: Help us MaxPax, you're our only hope 😛 in all seriousness, I wonder how many premier tournaments MaxPax would win, if he decided to play offline....maybe one day....
if i'm not mistaken, calling a Rogue a Rouge was just a meme joke, I saw it a lot in some D&D stories on reddit and youtube so I'm fairly certain it's just a joke thing
I'll be honest though, I've been watching professional StarCraft since 2011 and I've literally never seen ANY race lose a fight at 80 Supply down. I don't really play the game so I don't favor any race but ya, kind of absurd.
I was googling hero profile because of the joke, then decided to finally look at serrals...He is my age... and Im unemployed without a title TWT God have mercy on me and let me marry Serral Edit: Wait I think in english is called a "degree". Ups, spanish is my native tongue and "title" is how is said here. Anyway, Im a failure in life ok?
kinda feels like theres massive unresolved design and balance problems when theres a way "Protoss are MEANT to be played." Like if they are bottle necked into just one or two effective strategies, that sucks. that's not fun. either cheese and hope it works or use one of two competent compositions. boring.
Y no one can see how underpowered toss is. They cost so much gas. Quick to die. Bad casters. All toss units should be at least try to be hardly like Immortals. The only unit that cost less than its worth.
@@phongminh2588 yea lots r literally baneling. They charge in guarantee death. While it's counterpart rines can step and lings so cheap and fast easy to pull out.
Protoss has the highest damaging and easiest to use spellcasters LOL. Kind of dumb to say "if the enemy makes NO mistakes, Protoss can't win." Ya, obviously. That should be the case for any sports team in any sport. In this video, the Zerg effectively made no mistakes and still lost even though they were 80 Supply over the enemy in multiple fights
I wouldn't take Marc's biased and out-of-his-gourd opinion that Protoss is OP in relation to Terran seriously. I mean, what does he suggest, then, so that he can finally win a tournament? Have the disruptors even larger and slower? Have the carriers and Colossi prioritize attacking trees next rather than refineries, over enemy units? What more advantages would crybaby Marc like? Get that dude off the balance council.
Sorry bud but if you're winning head-to-head fights at 80 Supply down, the race you're playing is overbalanced. He microd like three immortals at a relatively slow pace lol. If that's possible, 200 Sup vs 200 Sup means you always win as long as you do subpar and unimpressive micro with a Warp Prism
u mean going oracle adept 90 percent of the time for the early game? essentially its back to the days where everyone was tired of the void ray openers they just nerfed void rays into oblivion and then added units to basically take over its role. like whens the last time u saw void rays en mass?
That Muta splash pop at the end was very satisfying!
It was fucking GLORIOUS!!!!!
I was wondering how'd he splash many mutas at once as a Protos but i just didn't consider Archon splash and IT WAS GLORIOUS!!!
Those muta dying made my week
No joke that was so satisfying, glad we got that moment before the gg.

I think those mutas dying should be remembered forever. Make a Meme or something.
What a picture...like a muta implosion.

@@swickens930 I guess if you think he wasn't doing anything else during those 45 seconds, then yeah, I understand why you're not impressed 😁

Baneling busts were the reason for the old Protoss wallof. With them nerfed into the ground the seach for the new best wallof is ongoing.

Oh nooo those mutas!
Oh yesssss, they’re dead 😂😂😂
That Archon at the end had like 8 hp left before it killed 9 mutas with its final shot haha
Lolll sounds super OP and overbalanced

Rouge and rogue are both french words adopted by english. Their latin roots are rubeus and rogare, respectively
Astrea shows no mercy for Zerg, great game!
See when loco saw all those nuts dying - that reaction is pure dynamite
Funny, Rogue in German is Schurke. :D
Skurk in Danish
I think the upside of the double pylon wall off is if one is shut down early it won't shut down production
When the only criticism lowko has for you is your dva announcer, your doing good.
Thanks for the video, Lowko. Hope you have a lovely weekend. ❤

It's been a thing for ages due to people consistently and persistently misspelling rogue and not knowing it.
Heard you pronounce the Dutch version of rogue and immediately abandoned my ambition to learn Dutch and move to the Netherlands.
Schurk.
