- What's up guys! On today's episode, we will be installing the Best sounding subs in our 3rd Gen Tacoma! When first buying this truck, I thought i could get by without subs... that didnt last long!
Stay tuned as we give you guys a step by step install of these 2 10' subwoofers with the stock head unit in our tacoma! Here is a list of the products i used for the install! Take note, you dont not have to use the same products i used. Install subs at your own risk and do your research so you don't blow your amp or sub!

This is what ima have to get next I blew my dual 12 inch kicker compVR subs along with my Sundown amp on my 22 taco so now I need a new amp n subs glad I already have my wires ran tho just need to find the right ones

I got 5 subs in my taco, all under and behind the seats. Pushing 2500 watts rms. 3 6.5s and 2 12s. It’s insanely loud.

How did you run your accessorie wire?
Two questions, did you have the JBL prior to this? And if so how much better is the system? Second question is how did you get patches to stick to your roof. Mine do not seem to like to stay.
I did not have the jbl system before hand. I still probably would have upgraded! And you have to put them on in a circular motion with the Velcro. Every once in awhile they fall down
That adapter appears to be pulling single from one ONE speaker up front. It should be pulling from the L and R speaker. You can confirm this by moving your fader to the left or right. If your sub turn off, then the LOC is not wired correctly.

What sub box are you using? Any modifications to make it fit?

How did you run the RCA’s? We’re they ran down the passenger side?

What did you do with the rear window motor did you had to remove it becuase of the box

The website for the box states it doesn’t fit models with the rear power window, but yours appears to have that. Could you confirm if your taco does in fact have that option? I’ve been looking into a similar setup but don’t want to end up wasting money.

@@DallasGause my truck is a 2019. Just FYI. I don’t know if they changed anything in the back.
@@TheWanderTaco The 2019 and 2020 are the same in the back. The 2020 just got buttons instead of touch pads on the radio and a few more options.

Are you able to have all your seats placed back into your Tacoma without them hitting the subs?
Yes!
Were is the bass bud. The rear few mirror was not even moving just seems like a lot of work for hardly no bass

@The Wander Taco ow I bet I was just messing around 😅 I wanna put a system in mine for sure just not sure how I wanna do it 🤔 do I want a single 12" kicker as I know what a single 12 dose or a 12" Alpine type R are badass too I don't know. Also like all the systems I have had In The past I have always got a aftermarket head unit but i see a lot of peeps are just keeping stock head unit but if you do that you can't ujust your High pass and low pass filters
