As a foreigner watching this, seeing these Marines, both active and retired, from every race and creed, proudly calling themselves not just only Marines, but members of the United States Marine Corps ... all these epitomizes what your country stands for, at least from what most of the world historically remembers or thinks of the United States. I hope that after the next elections are over, American society will come around more united, stronger, more prosperous, and continue to rally around the flag and constitution and emulate the values of what it takes to be a Marine. Hooyah!!
The part around 8:00 bringing former active duty Marines up and having them fall into a platoon formation I thought was fucking awesome. Pardon my Marine mouth. We are truly Once and Always a Marine no matter where we go or what we do, we are a Brotherhood that is Never Broken, it gave me chills and tears.....I miss my Brothers, I served on Active Duty Oct 1985 - June 1995 🇺🇸 Semper Fi
Semper Fi, Marines! ☺️❤️. God bless those who served and still do! Outstanding!! I loved it when they posed for pictures!! My Dad was a Marine Corsair pilot in Korea! ❤️❤️
I was in a Canadian Drum Corp and in our Drill Team too. Loved being with these guys several times in the U.S. They do something incredible like 400 shows a year and it shows. Our's was not silent but rather to recorded music. Silent is harder.
I LOVE this sooo much. Not only because of our USMC, but the bonding of Americans without any concern of what political party anyone supports. Just Americans loving and bonding.

3 years ago in San Fransisco an F-18 announced Fleet Week by going down the main channel of the harbor...50 feet off the water at what looked like 400 knots..

Kind of wondering how a PFC has already made it to the Silent Drill Platoon? Awfully young, eh? I would think that the training it takes alone, just to get into that unit, would be long enough for that Marine to promote to LCPL.
There are 2 infantry companies at MBW. Except for the leadership, the Marines are hand selected straight out of the School of Infantry, meaning MBW is their first duty station. Those Marines then audition to be in the SDT. A new team is formed every February/March.
Thank you all who serve and all who have served !🇺🇸
