That connector looked like a duck and quacked like a duck and you finally recognised it was a duck.😂

That was a great learning video, didnt realise no backlight. Your diagnosis process and even the minus voltages was an eye opener.

When you read "oled" you already know is has no backlight, without checking anything

it was funny cause after the first 2 minutes u already found the problem, bent pins, yet it took another hour to convince your self you had to bend them a bit more xD
    good job!

I've been learning a lot from you. Thanks for the knowledge Sorin. I'm confident enough to open my repair shop which I've been planning and working on for a long time. I will definitely start a Chanel to impact others with the same knowledge as you did. Thanks big

Wow! 35 mins into this video and I was thinking this one might not be a fix. I watch most of your videos and love seeing your login and diagnosis process. What a bummer this one was to find the problem. Well done for persevering. I'd have thrown it at the wall after half an hour - LOL! Keep up your great work.

I would have checked continuity on all wires from the laptop and that negative voltage producing board to the screen connector before even trying to turn the laptop on . Would have found the problem straight away just testing continuity to the pins on the connector from the laptop end screen connector and that little pcb to the screen connector

Sorin keeps referring to Inverters on laptops. I thought those went away after we stopped using CCFL screens since those boards inverted the VDC from the laptop to VAC for the CCFL panels, I am cornfused.

negative voltage is needed for OLED panel , there is a driver (chip) which commands a mosfet which takes a negative voltage trough those 2 coils
