I love how the train becomes a streetcar when it enters Chur city limits. What a wonderful ride!

1962-1967 christmas week each year, was lucky enough to go skiing in Arosa. We got there by this fantastic railway. Happy memories!!! Grazie mille, Paolo e Lorirocks Vielen danke :)
Guten Abend lorirocks und Paolo - ein wunderschönes Video mit eindrücklichen Bildern. Diese Strecke erinnert mich immer an meine Kinderzeit, als wir im ersten Haus rechts im Sassal gewohnt haben (ca. 1958) - damals bestand nicht nur die Haltestelle, sondern auch noch die Anlagen der Sassal Mineralquellen. Später als Lehrling der RhB hatte ich dann einen Bahnbegehungs-Ausweis und bin dann einmal die ganze Strecke Chur-Arosa abgelaufen - ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Herzlichen Dank für Eure Arbeit und die vielen Infos zur Strecke - liebe Grüsse Remo

I sure wish Canada had a railway system even 1/10 of what Switzerland has and they had to build it over, under and through the mountains. Treat yourself. There is another one doing cab rides throughout Switzerland which is ok but I like yours the best. You do what the others don't do. Show us the train, the interior of the train, the name of every bridge and tunnel, each stop former and active and certain details. Keep it up

Loved the various textures of snow that accentuated the man-carved rock-scape. And thanks to curved tracks a train can change direction and make a u-turn in the middle of no-where.

I took this train to Arosa once in the off season. A lady on the train was kind enough to check the notice at the station and point out the hotel that was open. I was the only guest. It was autumn and everything was being prepared for the ski season. After checking the weather I went walking up in the mountains. Had to jump a few small streams as the (very small) bridges had been removed in preparation for the winter season. I got some stares as this apparently unprepared for winter person came hiking down the path. A nice town that obviously lives on tourism, but then that is the largest business in San Francisco too.

Thanks! It is very rare that animals cross viaducts or go into tunnels. If they would cross the Langwieserviaduct it couldn't be a happy end...

👍 ...как много снега! Я, живя раньше на Камчатке, очень любила зиму со снегом и морозцем, сейчас же, перебравшись в воронежские степи, снега практически не вижу! С П А С И Б О за видео! 😍
В нашем Саратове ещё меньше снега. Так тоже хочется снежной зимы. Но климат меняется, казахстанские степи наступают. Зима с каждым годом приходит всё позже, а весна наступает всё раньше
У нас в Перми снега видимо не видимо!
