Good for you all- glad to see the 15-21 community strong.
Take advantage of that FMIC mod that you did early-- really only needed for 400+ WHP, but at that point you're looking to internals.
Like stated I do not think you're making much past 300 tq. If its an e-tune it's estimated.
Go e85/blend from here.
Thanks man! It’s pro tuned by Mike but it is an e tune and he did a virtual dyno log which is not 100% accurate but it’s pretty close and came out to 298 whp and 326 tq
an expert? Dang, another UA-cam expert.
Yep! Another expert, how nice to have another one right?
UA-cam Certified Automobile Tech 👌👌😂
😂
Was funny watching him get more comfortable on camera as the filming went along. Those seats look perfect
Yeah man, as I’ve gotten better at filming I’ve also gotten better with getting people warmed up to the camera better. Something I didn’t learn before this video. Crazy how much human psychology really goes into filming like this and you can really see it evolve as the video goes on. Thanks for watching man
love the car/review awesome content p.s that Paul walker ? awesome job guys !
Hey mate great video, IV just bought a 2018 WRX and I'll be planning on doing a heaps of mods soon hopefully to reach 300hp aswell.
How did that go?
dream car
It’s a very nice car!
dream bigger
Love the 2018 it’s my favorite
hey man. i have the cobb big sf air intake on my car. i had it on for a year and had my car tuned by mike also. i just recently started having issues with my car not starting sometimes and what i mean by that is it will start but die right away or at low rpms it will want to stall. i put the stock air intake back on and went stock and its running better and starts.
I dig the FMIC kinda sucks it’s pretty much impossible to go flex fuel for these cars now lol. Major L Cobb.
what vape are you running?
😂😂😂
If u ask me. I dont vape more like cocaine and marijuana.
Nice simple build.
Nice video bro what front splitter are you running?
Stock headers?
My focus st hybrid turbo is making more than your subi at 320whp. I thought wrx were faster than that and made more power on stock internals
Nah man focus st’s are faster bro. I have an ST as well. Subies will probably put a decent lead off the line though with the AWD
A/the vortex generator on a no-wing car has me 🤔 (always). Well, vortex generators in general without other supporting aero.
I think it’s more of a cosmetic mod
Whats all the red bits in engine bay?
Got a couple donuts in that location 😈😈
Just a few👀 this may or may not be a frequented spot for my friends and I
@@rileypaynestewart did a couple shot there . Mad they started building there now .
@@andrepierre8566 I know it sucks…
20%. My volume was at 20% and your intro still jump scared the fk out of me.
I’m sorry😂
360 tq seems like a lot for stock internals. I’ve heard that anything past 320ish is when you run into issues with rods bending. Does he plan on building the engine if it grenades?
He said something about either building it or engine swapping if anything we’re to happen
It’s actually 298 hp and 326 tq I misspoke.
@@saladmotorsports4604 that’s pretty good, my Sti is currently tuned at 286 whp 322 wtq. That was on Cobb redline intake and a catback. Since then I’ve installed an iag oil pan kit, koyorad radiator, cylinder 4 mod, Cobb aos, and a Cobb bpv. I will be getting a retune in the next couple weeks because I changed to a different exhaust and am adding a Grimmspeed top mount. Hoping to get alil closer to 300whp.
did you tune it yourself? if so was it difficult? i’m purchasing this car soon a 2019-21 wrx and i just want a loud stage 1 burble tune not really for the performance i just want it loud and the pops and burbles but was it hard to tune coming from someone that’s never tuned or modded a car this will be my first
try a STI! Little different, way better handling 🤏
Its Paul Walker heyo
is that paul walker?
Shhh don’t tell anybody
Baul Wolker
👍👍👍
wheel gap is never okay
Oh trust me it’s on the list 😂
🫣🫣🫣
...actually, wheel gap is fine if/when the car is set up properly. I believe all of the "no finger" crowd is doing it wrong. Dumped on coils is never the right answer.
@@K03sport true my car is was scraping when it was on coils, had to get it adjusted so it didn’t drive like crap and break things!
Subaru's aren't meant to be dropped to the ground, genius. Go buy a Honda Civic.
Just Sub'd...
you need a new head unit
Did he say alogataro wheel ? 😂
Nice little car for my girlfriend maybe
It’s a great car. My girlfriend loves WRX’s as well.
Sti aren’t as good for 2018 base is just better for power and tuning 🤷♂️
Remove mud flaps it's not a truck 😂
Didn’t know mud flaps were exclusive to trucks
It’s got even more reason than a truck to have mud flaps
@@roddydykes7053 hell yeah bro
I hate how car dudes speak.
Maybe don’t watch car videos then
