Could you please explain more about the numbers you’ve written for the injectors? How to know the number for previous ones and how to know what number we should set for new ones? Why we should change these numbers? Thanks.
@@ramyarakram3257 these are quantity compensation numbers - each injetor is slightly different and delivers slightly different amount of fuel. The DME uses this number to compensate for the characteristics of each injector. You will find the numbers written on the injectors - its the last three digits at the end of the injector after the part number. You write down the numbers on old injectors, just to verify if its matching what is in the DME, but you don’t necessarily need the old numbers. You need the new numbers and given each injector is different, you need to know which injector is in which cylinder, so you program it in the correct cylinder in DME.
I’ve removed my injectors, Some of them are with this part number: “13647599876” and some of them are: “13647639994”. Why is that and What you recommend? ( It’s 2014 M6 Grand Coupe ). Thank you.
Sorry mate, I haven't seen your question - one of those injectors are EU5 and others are EU6... I think your 2014 should already have the EU6 injectors - but you need to verify that in the DDE coding... definitely all of them should be the same!!
You did this work first time, believe me you did it like a champ , will done
