They need to add customization ASAP. For someone who is a fan of racing and NFL this will be great if implemented
I was one of those selected for this and I've been playing with it.
It really isn't difficult to use.
I hope that it will be fully ready when college football season comes around, and you can personally select the individual games that you want.
It seems to work pretty well. We also noticed the slight delay when switching audio.
My daughter is really hoping this will be available for the NCAA softball playoffs in May.

It was amazing this weekend for Basketball. 4 streams were perfect. I love YTTV.

@@HookEm21 As a non sports fan it's not worth it for me, I don't watch alot of TV and I'm overpaying for TV. Sling and Philo are cheaper but the 720p maximum image quality looks bad on a 4K display.
I think this will be a game changer. Think NFL Sunday Ticket being able to choose specifically which games you want to watch simultaneously. This is something that was not available through DirecTV. You either watched the six or eight games that they preselected in very small squared sections or on a separate channel. They displayed four games pre-selected and you just hoped that that week they selected a few games that you wanted to watch in that four square channel because the viewing was a little bit better since the squares were bigger being just four versus six to eight. Hopefully UA-cam ads customization and allows subscribers to choose which multi -view channels to watch whether it's all NFL or in some cases like in October where there may be a great game on in the NFL as well as baseball season and NBA preseason games or something to that effect. Either way it's a win for UA-cam
Actually, if you used the DirecTV streaming app you could select which mutliview games you watched. That is how I watched it every year.
Not one of the finest rollouts ever. Customization should have been part of the feature from the start. Doing it during March Madness in an incomplete form was an abysmal failure to understand their viewers. I would have appreciated being able to watch various games of both the men's and women's tournaments much more than their pre-selected offerings.
I don’t blame them for not having the customization yet. I understand why they’re doing the preselected feeds to make it available across all types of TV devices. But I agree with your first sentence for one main reason. Why only offer the feature to select people at start, during a very big time to watch TV? They knew everyone wanted it, so people who didn’t initially have it contacted them to ask for it. Now they’re rolling it out to everyone. UA-cam TV is expensive and customers are going to have different expectations compared to people who only watch free videos on UA-cam. Thanks for leaving this comment. It is something I wish I could have addressed to my viewers.

So, it was great last night when it automatically gave me 4 March Madness games at once, but I can't wait to be able to select it on my own, because this morning I can't watch Men's and Women's games at once as I'm not getting any preselected options. 😢
Yes this is new technology but it also makes since with the affordability of large 80"+ TVs. I have a 85" and it looks incredible with 4 games going on.

Great video. I paid the extra 200+ for NFL Sunday Ticket. 2 technical questions that are very big to NFL fans who had this issue with DirecTv NFL Sunday Tix. NFL Sunday Ticket blacks out your local NFL games. By September can we have a multiscreen that combines the non-NFL Sunday Ticket game (the local game) with the 3 NFL Sunday Ticket games we want to watch? This is why we needed two TVs to watch Directv NFL Sunday Ticket and our local game. But if UA-cam TV can solve this 10 year problem it would be heaven for us and would get so many more NFL Sunday Tix accounts

Hey Michael, so no multi view on a iPad or iPhone, what’s up with that?, also noticed audio issue with volume being different from going back-and-forth between multi and single screen?, not a premium product so far, maybe they’ll work it out?
I got the email and saw the notice when I logged in, but never given the option. Not shown at all.
My only complaint is the wait for audio when switching streams. Otherwise, I think it's pretty cool.

Check your internet speed and if you could improve lag time. I'm just guessing that may be an possible issue.

Michael, surely you jest!!! Multiview feature? I'm having difficulty with SINGLE view. I hope you can advise how to unstress me by telling me how to fix this problem. I just 'cut the cord' about 5-6 weeks ago. I already had a FireStick 4K and invested in UA-cam TV. The problem is a freezing screen sometimes accompanied by no audio or sometimes a black screen with or without audio. These interruptions usually only last a few seconds, This does NOT happen when using my FireStick or when watching a show that I DVR'd on UA-cam TV. There does not seem to be a pattern timewise. If you have a fix I would appreciate it. Just a heads-up... I'm a few million miles away from being even moderately intellectual when it comes to modern technology so I would need step-by-step direction. Appreciate your time!
This was EXTREMELY helpful. New NFL Sunday ticket user here, at this point 4 months down the road, is the multi view option working as well as the PIP feature on DTV does?
Multiview is still being rolled out. I've only been able to use it sparingly. It'll be fully online by NFL season we're told.

No
There are so many qualifications on how you can use multi view and on which shows that most people will conclude that it’s not working when they try to use it.
Right now it's beta and for March Madness. Ideally, they'll make it customizable to avoid the issue you've stated.
Is this only for fire stick?? My fire stick does it but not my Nvidia Shield

I got the e-mail saying I was selected for "multi-view" but none of my devices have the feature enabled. Am I missing something? I have 2 favorite teams playing at the same time later today. Bummer. Thanks.
Check back today in the Top Picks for You section (shown in video). They're rolling it out to everyone.
I’m not seeing the ability to watch both elite 8 games in multi view, was it only for the first couple of rounds?
I'm watching in multiview now. This is a pilot program and YTTV selects the feeds based on when the games start. Maybe try refreshing?
@@MichaelSaves yep just tried it again and it is now working. (Sweet sixteen* sorry). Are you only able to watch the games that it predetermined for you? I just want to watch the 2 men’s games so that the screen is less crowded.

I’ve heard that UA-cam TV’s picture quality is not as good as say DirecTV Stream. Is this true?
This seems to vary by user. YTTV has 4K in its add-on, but DTV Stream doesn’t offer 4K. YTTV has had some video and sound quality issues recently and says they’re working on it.

I saw that "catch up to live through key plays" option, and tried it but it just saying loading and nothing ever happened. Has anybody had success with this?
It's working fine for me today, but I've had issues with it in the past.
It doesn't come up for me i choose what i want and it just goes to it instead

Definitely more pauses/cancellations this summer. We’ll see what happens when NFL season comes around. UA-cam TV is now dominant.
If UA-cam didn’t have the NFL package there’s no way I switch from Direct tv. No 5.1 for all content, not to mention no 7.1 or atmos

Multiview is being formally rolled out for NFL season, so TBD. They keep saying they hope to offer customizable streams in the future.

Multiview isn't being widely offered at the moment. It will return for NFL season.

I really think the multi view is a waste of money. Unless you are a sports talk, show host. It would’ve been better if UA-cam kept their current price and not have multi view.
I don’t think they raised the price for multiview. It’s because of all the content costs. But I do think the feature is going to make the service more popular with some sports fans - but only certain times of the year. Limited uses. Others won’t be able to look past the price - and I’ll have more on that in a new video.
@@MichaelSaves but don’t you think it would’ve been better to have a smaller price increase. Like five dollars. And have multi view as an optional feature that if people want they can pay for like 4K is with UA-cam TV.
Because the only time you really need it is during football season and March madness. That would only be about 20 weeks a year. And that would be for only the hard-core sports fans.
Maybe I lack imagination, but I think that would be the only use for it.
@@shackdaddy7106 I think multiview is about more than sports, though it is starting with sports. It’s about keeping people on the platform longer, which means exposing them to more ads. I also think multiview is going to keep a lot of people from pausing or canceling. Not happy about the price, but I understand their strategy.
@@MichaelSaves I will have to disagree with you on that. It is all about sports. Most knowledgeable sports fans can tell you what is going on in the game without hearing the sound. And these are the fans that will find multiview appealing.
That cannot be said of non-sports television. Except maybe in the rare event of a national disaster or tragedy. You have to watch and listen.
I cannot imagine anybody watching non sports television with multi view.
Because of the ability to DVR. If there’s two or more shows that you like that are on at the same time. You can watch one and DVR the others. Which is as you know one of the two big pluses of being able to DVR.
@shackdaddy7106 Ok! Thanks for your input! I've already heard from people who want to customize multiview for news channels. (Not currently offered.) But I do think it's primarily for sports -- which is why they're starting with that. Sorry you aren't happy about the feature.

Top Picks for You is at the top of the Home Screen. Multiview is not available right now. It was a pilot program for March Madness and will come back for NFL season.
This was literally useless. There is no option for multiview in “Too picks for you”. Maybe if you slowed down and showed exactly what to choose?
They changed the location. This video was from the beta launch. It is further down the Home Screen now. Not everyone has Multiview yet.
@@MichaelSaves Thank you. Multiview is definitely not showing up anywhere on my UA-camTV interface. Funny thing is that it literally states on the UA-camTV website how and where to find Multiview on the screen. I was just on the phone with YTTV tech support about multiview and they didn't mention that the feature wasn't rolled out to *all* customers yet. What's crazy is that all the articles make it sound like its available to everyone now but nope. FuboTV and ESPN have had multiview for years and YTTV still can't get their stuff together.
Espn app being able to allow customization before GOOGL is concerning for shareholders
