    So, I have given it much thought as I re-stocked my leather tooling equipment after more than 30 years. I have decided my work bench needs an 'Olivia'. Where might one acquire such a robust poseable mode? Maybe that will help the quality of my work that has gone stale after so many years of inactivity.

I'm making my own version of what you call "The Emily," and I'm hoping you'll give me some general guidelines on how to calculate the length of the strips for the wristlet, for a guven width/thickness.       @@MasconLeather the letter jig you're using there is identical to the one in the set I got from him. And you can't beat his price on what all you get. And I believe he has 20+ fonts to choose from.

      I’ll be honest, it can lead to some design block for me.... I make a plan then think, uh oh, how/when do I do this part?
      If leather were cheap, I’d just cut first and fix later... 😂

      I have 200+ hides of leather. Varying worth. The “first” of every design I grab a cheap hide and make a quickie. To ease the stress. And make it more about fun then perfection. It works every time. Joy is as relevant as productivity. 👍

      Scrap off? Probably wax build up from the tanning process

    As a true animal lover, I don't work with leather. I'm a bagmaker. I use fabric, vinyl and cork.
    But I loved watching this. The craftsmanship is beautiful. I love the whole creative process.

    Hey there! Amazing work. Wondering how you'd recommend aligning the edges after you cut some pieces and have glued and stitched them together if you don't have that little fraise rolling machine??

      I have no clue what a fraise rolling machine is. Cut everything PERFECTLY first. Then glue. Then sand. Then stitch. Then bevel. Then sand again. Done

    You taught me a bunch of tricks here. The best one is not tracing the whole square pattern! Just mark the dots, and connect the dots!! Also using punches. thanks.
