Leather working, stirring his coffee with a blade, THIS is my kind of day 🤙🏼
Lol right???? And a pregnant lady handing me supplies. 😆
Nice work Artie! I picked up using machinist squares from you and I took it a step further. I also keep a couple of pairs of 1-2-3 blocks and 2-4-6 blocks in my layout and assembly area and I used them as registration tools like you do the rulers as well as weights. They work great!
Boom!!! It all started when I saw my wife’s stained glass aluminum alignment bar one day. I grabbed it and started making more to my specs. I’ve been using them ever since.
I like your decor. With the film speed your jig handling looks like magic.
Thanks, sir !
So now my weekend is thrown off... I'm gonna have to watch it again in the morning so m Sunday coffee will be complete...
I like that plan !
Thanks a lot for sharing and thanks for the tips
Absolutely!!
Grabbed the bump jigs today, brilliant

You, my Brother, are a Master!

Very pretty assistant you have there. 😊
I'm really enjoying the tips and tricks I'm picking up from watching you work.
Thanks, Jeff!
Very much excited to get these bump jig's in hand. I knew I should have ordered them the day of instead of waiting 48 hours! Congrats on their success and thank you for all the knowledge you have passed on.
Also, we need more Chloe, I am just sayin! :)
Thanks for all of the support! And Chloe appreciates the support as well
All I can say is thank you for the video, I learned a lot!

Agh yes.... A splash of Jemie.... That's smooth.
Boom!!
Stunning workmanship, great presentation ( like the humour) and superb video production, you must put hours in to the editing. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience.
Thanks!! Yes ... it’s usually about 3-4 hours of filming and edit for each one minute of final footage.
Another great video Artie ! There are so many things to compliment you on, about this video , but i will just leave it at that. Its awesome to have Chloe, and Brittany in cameo co starring roles as well ! Wonderful job sir !
I really appreciate that, sir !
YUM!!!
🤘👍
Stoked to be able to get these bump jigs. Patiently waiting. :-). Another great video. Thank you for your time and effort.
Thanks, mike!!

Thanks for watching!!
Nice wallet and another fun video to watch, ordered my jigs but got put on waiting list so congratulations they must have been a bigger hit than projected! Thank you for sharing your tips, tricks and talent!...
Thanks for everything, sir !
Another awesome job. Cant wait to get my jigs in
Thanks so much!
Thanks again for another amazing video. Jig's: ORDER CONFIRMED :D
Thanks!!
I gotta say i love that I'm not the only one dipping my knife in my coffee before I cut my leather. My wife keeps telling me one of these days I'm gonna ruin the leather doing that. I just tell her it won't ruin anything, it'll just give it corrector.
😆 right ?!?!?

Boom!!! Nice job! And thanks for watching!
Very good! Especially, I hope, the future mother. Good luck, with all my heart! You have style, and that's not a little :)
Thanks!
Awesome video. Thanks for the great content. I’ve been thinking about those bump jigs for a while so just ordered a set and can’t wait to get them. 👊🏻👍🏻
Thanks!!!

Dang I didn't know you were gonna have a model! I need to step it up. Haha! Congratulations and great work! I just received a yellow veg tanned kangaroo hide the other day so I clicked it.
Thanks!
Two things, another top video, and this time with some Roo ( come live in OZ) , and second thing congrates on the bub.
Thanks!
Another well done video. I like how smooth you are with changing your tools but why do you not use the bump jig to make the cut? Is it because the ruler or square allows for easier use of the knife?
С пополнением вас!

Great Video! Could I know where you get your stamps from? Thanks!
Totally awesome as always, glad to see you have all the help, congratz on the baby. You'll have to tell us the story of the skull someday LOL>
I already hit like...just because
2 questions before I go back to the video.
1) what kinda critter is the skull from and is there a story behind it?
2) i love coffee. What kind of coffee are you drinking?
I love whiskey too but i can read those
Skull. I have a few but I think that one is coyote. Coffee- simply Folgers
I love your videos and your style (artistic and humorous ^^)! you make me smile every time! Very good tips! Hello from the French Alps ;-)
Thanks, David! Smiling is the goal!! Hey, may as well have fun, right ?!?
@@MasconLeather Oh Yes ! work and fun go hand in hand!
Exactly!
Супер!!! Как всегда!!!!
Your videos make me chuckle. I need to know what's up with the bras! Hahahaha!!!
Thanks!! Google “McGuffins” or “macguffins”. And “Easter eggs “
😉
Awesome wallet, congrats on the bebe!
🤘thanks !
Dear friend! I’ll digest your videos for a long time and am very pleased with them. Take care of your woman! And more ... I would like to see in your next video a solution to the issue of processing the edge of the skin edge. What chemistry do you process it? The end result makes me happy. Sorry for the technical translation by Google.)))
Thanks!! Great translation!
Would you be so kind as to share your edge finishing technique? They look great. Love your videos and your craftsmanship. Thanks,G
It’s coming in the future
как всегда отличное видео.
поздравляю со скорым прибавлением.
счастья вам и вашему малышу. успехов каналу и процветания

Two Questions: One, which stitching irons do you use. (they are not listed) Two: Well, not a question. Hope everyone is healthy. Again, (and again) thanks for the entertaining video. Your work is very much appreciated.
Thanks, Bruce! My 15 teeth punches were custom made for me by Kevin lee
@@MasconLeather I was interested in the stitching irons because they look like they make a good hole without widening the surface of the leather. I have Sinabroks and some other ones but none make a straight, deep parallel hole. Also, it looks like they will go through really thick, layered leather.
When using the dremel on the edges - is that sandpaper? Is the purpose to sand the edges smooth, or make them flush, or is it burnishing somehow? Also - sometimes I see the dremel run on a substance... wax perhaps? I'm getting into leather working (trying it as a hobby) and Mascon Leather's channel has been incredibly motivating...
Congrats son the baby on the way
👍
Already ordered the bump jigs. I didnt want to sleep on those and have them sell out too fast
Perfect! Thanks!
She is glowing :)
🤘
Hey love your videos.... can you tell me where you got that little anvil steel? It’s awesome!!
I had it custom made by a machinist. But we’re in the process of designing one that will be available for sale soon.
mm mm m what a beauty
Thanks!
ПРИВЕТ, СНИМАЮ ШЛЯПУ, ВЕЛИКОЛЕПНАЯ МАСТЕРСКАЯ, ШИКАРНЫЙ ИНСТРУМЕНТ БРАВО!
Thanks !!
P.s. I love your videos
Thanks!!!
Very cool, as always. Your help looks pretty relaxed, as it should be. I assume the Kangaroo leather was a slightly thinner weight leather?
Thanks!! Yes. Kangaroo is about 2 oz
Got excited when I saw this list as I've been trying to find the wide jaw pliers you use to close the glue joints. But hey, they're not listed. Give us a break man, where can I get them from, I'm in UK
Google “Amy roke leather pliers”. They’re available everywhere on line. 👍
And relax a little. 😉
Loving this channel. What is the name of the tool you use to press the pieces together after you’ve glued them?
Thanks, Justin! Those are Amy Roke brand pliers
The videography is nearly as great as the craftsmanship
Aaw! Thanks for that!!
Thanks for posting your video, you didn't see the patterns on the page
Thanks for watching! I don’t sell my designs
First!?
Also, those tips with the jigs are very helpful. I have been attempting the same thing with crappy rulers but it is time to get a set and do things right! Great video!
🤘🤘🤘
@@MasconLeather brother can you show how to make leather plier handle covers it seems simple but ive tried to make covers on steel its not easy as it seems
Start with thin paper. Wrap around and cut rough. Wrap around again and tweak. Then grab some scrap leather and transfer pattern. Cut and dry wrap. Tweak more. Boom!
@@MasconLeather thanks man good deal. Ive gotta adjust to patterns...thats been a hard road for me being a tinkerer is to use drafts overlays patterns
@@mercuryrising9174 It was an adjustment for me also but it's the only to do this right. Otherwise you waste a lot of material.
Отличная работа , как всегда !!! Ждете пополнения в семье ? Это здорово !!! Всех благ вам и вашему каналу !!!
Thanks, Andrew!
Pretty awesome to see your beauty wife putting up with your easy going attitude. From month 1 and every month there after for the past 27 years my wife has given me angry growls. Goodonya your doin it right
What do you use to finish the edge?
I’ll get that in upcoming videos. 👍
I want to buy this 🤗

What is the link to the edge painters
And
What do you put in them?
Pen is a watercolor pen, refillable. I use fiebings leather dye
Absolute masterpiece video. Jigs are on order, and once again I just learned (stole) some excellent and time saving techniques. Another great way to start the weekend, thank you. Is the knife you are using to trim the corners a custom blade or might it be available somewheres?
Thanks, Glen! The knife was custom made for me by Ibex Iron works.
Супер канал- супер монтаж видео....

Where’d you get your coffee set? I love it!
Antique. I have 1000s of antiques. Family owned antique shop for 30+ years
@@MasconLeather man, i love the look! will have to do some antique hunting now...
🤘🤘
Where did you get your stitching ponies from or did you make them yourself?
I made them. I discussed them in the hand stitching video some.
i see you didn’t need to soak the leather when logo stamping by hand. will that work with the buttero too?
I’ve never used Buttero. So I’m not sure
thank you for this video you can give me the thickness of the leather you used for this video and thank you
5/6 oz
