Nice work Artie! I picked up using machinist squares from you and I took it a step further. I also keep a couple of pairs of 1-2-3 blocks and 2-4-6 blocks in my layout and assembly area and I used them as registration tools like you do the rulers as well as weights. They work great!
Boom!!! It all started when I saw my wife’s stained glass aluminum alignment bar one day. I grabbed it and started making more to my specs. I’ve been using them ever since.
Another great video Artie ! There are so many things to compliment you on, about this video , but i will just leave it at that. Its awesome to have Chloe, and Brittany in cameo co starring roles as well ! Wonderful job sir !
Very much excited to get these bump jig's in hand. I knew I should have ordered them the day of instead of waiting 48 hours! Congrats on their success and thank you for all the knowledge you have passed on. Also, we need more Chloe, I am just sayin! :)
Stunning workmanship, great presentation ( like the humour) and superb video production, you must put hours in to the editing. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience.
Another well done video. I like how smooth you are with changing your tools but why do you not use the bump jig to make the cut? Is it because the ruler or square allows for easier use of the knife?
Dang I didn't know you were gonna have a model! I need to step it up. Haha! Congratulations and great work! I just received a yellow veg tanned kangaroo hide the other day so I clicked it.

Start with thin paper. Wrap around and cut rough. Wrap around again and tweak. Then grab some scrap leather and transfer pattern. Cut and dry wrap. Tweak more. Boom!
When using the dremel on the edges - is that sandpaper? Is the purpose to sand the edges smooth, or make them flush, or is it burnishing somehow? Also - sometimes I see the dremel run on a substance... wax perhaps? I'm getting into leather working (trying it as a hobby) and Mascon Leather's channel has been incredibly motivating...
Two Questions: One, which stitching irons do you use. (they are not listed) Two: Well, not a question. Hope everyone is healthy. Again, (and again) thanks for the entertaining video. Your work is very much appreciated.
@@MasconLeather I was interested in the stitching irons because they look like they make a good hole without widening the surface of the leather.
