  • Making a Leather Wallet - the Rugrat (With a Special Guest)
The Rugrat wallet is specially designed to incorporate two different types of leather (Horween Dublin and Herman Oak natural veg tan). The Herman Oak spine spans across and attaches to the Horween with eight solid copper rivets, as well as hand stitched.
The wallet has two credit card sleeves and two stash pockets.

Thanks for another excellent video. Is the hammer you use to peen with a 2 ounce?
Also, I noticed that you didn't use your homemade rivet cutting depth gauge in this video.
And lastly, is the secret to your nice glassy edges revealed by your assistant at 12:27 of the video? Saliva? Haha!

@@MasconLeather , I'm sorry, I was referring to the small ball peen hammer. Is the head a 2 ounce? Also, Thanks for the links to the items in the description. I'm interested in the bump jigs.

I thought I was the only one who burnished by licking the edges! Not that I lick ALL my edges, but if im not near water - I have done it more times than I can count...
