Dear Master. By far and away the most complete video on how to reset the NO CU error and the notion of just leaving the cover for the board off. Many thanks for this effort. Outstanding!
Thank you Mr. Master of none. That worked perfectly, grounding pin 15. We were one day from leaving on a vacation, what a disappointment when the fridge was out!!! Glad I found your post and thank you for taking the time to make it. If I ever find you I will buy you a beer! PS... I think I caused the no-co by turning my fridge on in the afternoon when it was 110 degrees outside. The brain in the fridge couldn't understand when it was probably didn't cooling down fast enough so it shut down. So, advice to everyone. Turn your fridge on the morning before you leave when its cooler:) Darren Phoenix AZ.
I have watched lots of videos for the no co code none worked for me. This procedure worked as you said it would. Saved me lots of time money and stress. Thanks you.
Wow!!!… even though I’ve seen this in a manual, your awesome causal explanation made me go ahead and do it and it worked the “n” is gone!!!…. I couldn’t get the cover off because I couldn’t get to the dang screws….. this alone almost made me call up a technician….So after watching your video…. I said to hell with it and I ripped off the cover, did the procedure and left my wire in place like you did. thank you so much!
It did work for me as well! Thanks for your video sharing the procedure. By the way, the wire doesn't necessarily have to touch that particular ground connector with the yellow insulator. You can touch any ground such as the metal case as it is grounded. That is what I did with mine and worked fine. Thumbs up 👍
All I know is that I followed your steps and it fixed mine! I’ve watched every other video regarding a “noco” code to no avail. I have a cold fridge now! Thanks!!
I inserted a wire into the wire into the pin 15 hole and the other end inserted into a nylon sleeve with the label "reset wire". Then I put the cover back on and now I just touch with my reset wire the ground screw when the No-Co error code occurs. Don't leave your wire uninsulated and still protect the board with the cover as best as you can.
I'm doing that trick. Been resetting it a few times and got tired of taking the cover off. Just tied off the other end to a safe spot. Will be way easier if I need to reset it in the middle of the night...
I may have disconnected/reconnected the wires in the wrong order. I know they are all connected back in the original slots but I have no power to the fridge or slide outs now. Checked all fuses and the gfi. Everything is good. Any ideas? Thanks in advance
Lincoln, First I hope you already found and fixed the problems. The slides run on DC power so the 12 v fuses (car type) are the ones to check. The slides also have safety lockouts so make sure the e-brake is on and engine off when checking the slides. The power to the fridge, I would check this video. That goes into much more detail. ua-cam.com/video/0rMJ3GrOb8Q/v-deo.html Best of luck, Don
Bro you know what I really appreciate all you're doing but I'm just saying when you say it's that lug there next to the servo... you should really think that you're talking to somebody who knows nothing because that would be me. And all you had to do was Point finger in there to the actual piece you're talking about and then when you say yellow wire I mean I really do appreciate everything it just seemed kind of ambiguous because you seem like you're tired of doing it which I don't blame you but I'm just saying I had to go back find the same directions you had and count the pins just like when you said you should be able to find pin 15 I don't know if yours are labeled mine are not. I'm just saying sometimes when I see guys info videos things that seem so second-nature for you which probably are are not for myself. Like when guys do instructional videos with absolutely no narrating just music... I mean really but I'm just saying if you could just point out the wires it would really be helpful thanks a lot and I know that most people understand you I'm a mongoloid
Well on electric or propane? Electric has a faint hum that cycles off when the fridge reaches its set point. Propane cycles too but with a flame sound. if it sounds more like a small motor or pump, it may be the Ice maker. Hope this helps.
Good content, but terrible video. Jerky, shaky, rambling video. You could have pointed at the various pins with even the tip of a pencil. One of your viewers in the comments below screwed it up and killed both fridge and his slide! You shouldn't make poor quality videos like this that will cause people to screw up.
Great video! It infuriates me that any manufacturer would have such a stupid process to reset a common problem!
It's so they can charge you an arm and a leg to have one of their techs do it
You are my hero! Plain, direct and simple. My Norcold fridge is now working perfectly. I was dreading hiring a repairman. Thank you very much!
Always nice to find it helped another.👍

Thank you!! The repair man told me I needed to get a new fridge! I tried your fix and it totally worked!
Just dropping you a thank you note bud!! Did the steps to resolve our "no co" code. I appreciate it.
So glad another RVer could benefit.

Thanks Jason, That's great news! I've even had to use this video myself. These Norcold fridges are finnicky buggers...
Totally worked, amazing. Thanks!

@@smushegg Thank you. I actually ended up selling the RV and letting the new owner know about the issues.
I may be wrong. But this is a Norcold fridge. Not Dometic.
I stand corrected. I ran right over and checked it. Yes it is a Norcold. Thanks!
@@smushegg i found your information extremely useful. Maybe add "norcold" into your title to help others find it.
Yea, I was confused there 😐
Can you point out connections A,B,C and D?
Thank you for this
My pleasure!
God with you thanks
Thank you.
You could have pointed at places to have wire contact.(jumping wite)
I just needed a little more reassurance I was hitting the right ones

Is that humming sound normal ??

It's Norcold not Domectic that has the NoCo.
Spit it out already, damn.
Yeah speaking and organizing are not my best attributes.☺️
Screw you. You figure it out yourself.

Don’t freaking watch it. He wasn’t making it for you.
