In the fast-paced world of forex trading, where markets fluctuate in the blink of an eye, having a comprehensive strategy is paramount. One trading guru who has made a significant impact in this realm is Michael J. Huddleston, popularly known as the Inner Circle Trader (ICT). In this blog post, we'll delve into ICT's forex trading strategies, mentorship programs for 2022 and 2023, and the key concepts, including price action and candlestick patterns, that can help you navigate the forex market with the precision of a silver bullet.
Who is the Inner Circle Trader (ICT)?
Before we explore his strategies and mentorship programs for 2022 and 2023, it's important to understand who ICT is. Michael J. Huddleston earned his reputation as a trading mentor and educator through his UA-cam videos and online presence. His teaching style revolves around demystifying complex trading concepts and empowering traders to make informed decisions.
    Key Strategies by ICT:
Market Structure Analysis: ICT emphasizes the importance of understanding market structure. This entails identifying key support and resistance levels, swing highs, and swing lows. By doing so, traders can gain a better grasp of where the forex market may be heading.
Price Action Analysis: Instead of relying solely on indicators, ICT advocates reading price action directly from the charts. This involves interpreting candlestick patterns, chart patterns, and trend analysis. By focusing on price, forex traders can reduce noise and make more precise entries and exits.
Order Flow Analysis: ICT's approach includes studying order flow, which entails monitoring the volume and direction of market orders. This can provide valuable insights into the intentions of large institutional players.
Trading Psychology: Recognizing the importance of psychology in trading, ICT guides traders in managing their emotions and maintaining discipline in their trading decisions.
Smart Money Concepts: ICT introduces the concept of "smart money" or institutional trading behavior. Understanding their tactics, such as stop-hunting and accumulation, can help forex traders avoid common pitfalls.
    ICT's Mentorship Programs for 2022 and 2023:
ICT offers mentorship programs that provide traders with a deep dive into his strategies, including the ICT Silver Bullet. These programs are designed to help traders sharpen their skills and achieve consistency in their trading.
    Key Concepts in ICT's Mentorship:
Candlestick Patterns: ICT's mentorship covers various Japanese candlestick patterns and their significance in price action analysis. This includes candlestick price action, candlestick secrets, and the candlesticks trading bible.
Price Action Trading: ICT's mentorship programs provide comprehensive guidance on price action trading strategies, including price action scalping and price action trading course.
Why Consider ICT's Mentorship and Forex Trading Strategies?
ICT's mentorship programs and forex trading strategies have gained a following for several reasons:
Holistic Approach: His methodology covers a wide spectrum of forex trading concepts, allowing forex traders to develop a comprehensive trading plan for 2022 and 2023.
Educational Content: ICT provides extensive educational materials for free through his UA-cam channel, making his forex trading strategies and mentorship accessible to forex traders of all levels.
Risk Mitigation: By incorporating risk management principles into his forex trading strategies, ICT helps forex traders protect their capital in the face of market volatility.
The Inner Circle Trader, Michael J. Huddleston, has carved a niche for himself in the world of forex trading with his comprehensive and educational approach. His mentorship programs and forex trading strategies, which revolve around market structure, price action, order flow analysis, institutional trading behavior, and candlestick patterns, provide forex traders with a solid foundation to navigate the complex and ever-changing forex markets of 2022 and 2023.
Whether you're a novice forex trader looking to learn the ropes or an experienced forex trader seeking to refine your skills and master the ICT Silver Bullet strategy, ICT's mentorship programs and forex trading strategies can serve as a valuable resource on your journey towards forex trading success.
Don't miss out on the opportunity to learn from a mentor who has dedicated himself to helping traders unlock their potential and conquer the forex market with the precision of a silver bullet and elevate your forex trading game to the next level.

Hi Pradeep. Happy to help! When I was a beginner I wished I knew the things that are in my Essential Playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLa6XDmoqdrjGjY9GHP3FOTbzyM6kSfkCx.html
Watch all 4 of these videos at least a couple times and ask any questions you might have. Beginners always focus on stop loss and take profit (which are important) but often ignore psychology and risk management (which are critical).

Nice to see you've started off your ICT videos in a playlist. A lot of people make videos on different concepts that viewers want to follow but they are so difficult to find when they aren't in playlists.

Hi Kay. I was planning on making a video series on each of his series (Sniper, Market Maker Primer, Precision Concepts) before getting to the mentorship. Any other suggestions for ICT video topics?

@@kevincortese7751 I think you've got most of it covered but If I can think of anything else, I'll suggest it. Really like the way you break things down. It goes with the way I think so It's much easier for me to digest things the way you put it

If you're not opposed to indicators, I have a playlist on Ichimoku where I continue to break it down from different angles.

I've been experimenting more with FVG and finding them very useful. Will possibly made a video after get more trades under my belt with them. What's the lowest time frame you look for them and do you only taken then when price has retraced at least 50% of the obvious move?

Hi Mark. ICT definitely is a different type of beast! Good thing about ichimoku is the rules are very cut and dry. All the parts line up and you have a green light. You could have a very successful trading career just trading the ichimoku bounce and nothing else. Some people don't like it because the indicator is messy, etc. For you, keep focusing on mastering one concept. Good luck and lmk if you have any questions.

@@Allltha8matters ICT and ichimoku are kind of on opposite ends of the spectrum. Ichimoku is designed to capture 80% of the meat of a trend. ICT is price actioned and is better equipped for getting in early. Ich has a winrate of between 35-40% but can ride trends. I've heard ICT can hit 60-80% accuracy but hasn't done a rigorous backtest of it yet.

@@kevincortese7751 Could you make a video of backtesting ICT concepst? The trading community is sort of divided when it comes to ICT. Beginner traders like myself are confused as to whether to try these concepts or not. It would be helpful if someone like you whom I trust made a rigorous backtest.

From what I can tell, one of his most defined concepts is the silver bullet during the London or NY open. I've never backtested this but would be interested in the results as well. He has other concepts like OTE, which is based on a retracement but everyone draws Fibs from different highs/lows so I think the bullet would be a good start.
iirc the bullet uses FVGs on either the 5m or 1m and Tradingview only displays data going back a month or two so this wouldn't really satisfy me. I'd prob want to see at least it working over the last 5 years on the majors. I've heard people have had good results with EURUSD so maybe I'll start there.
