For example, you short NZDUSD, but long GBPUSD if both charts look good to do it.

Turtle soups are a bit tricky for me. I love trying to catch a knife, but I usually get induced. I lean more to watching for an OB next to a FVG get mitigated after an inducement for confirmation.

Are they both the same starting balance? If you want them to take the exact same size, use the size option instead of the % option.

ATR is how much movement an average 1H, 4H, 5M etc candle moves. I go over ATR in my ichimoku series. In general you can set an initial stop loss of around 1.25 to 1.5x and then start to trail it. Fib basically takes the high and low and people look to wait until price retraces 50% to 62% and get in at a discount and want to the pullback to reverse in the original direction.

I just opened a test order and it worked. I sold 0.02 lots of EU and went on the positions tab, clicked the X and I can close .01 out of .02. See the image here: ibb.co/9HZ9H86

I did it again, but this time I turned on one-click trading and it closed both .02 without asking me. Try disabling one-click at the top in between tools and your balance. This should fix it.

Hi Vin. I just market bought EU then double clicked on the position in the positions tab and added a TP and SL and it shows up on the chart in the screenshot ibb.co/Fm2FFMT . Try that or maybe try switching to another symbol and switching back if you entered all 3 at the same time for a limit order.

I haven't noticed a red folder showing up on forex factory but not on FTMO. I would probably stay away, use the swing account so you don't have to worry about news or take a screenshot/video clip before to protect yourself in case they say you violated the rule. Do you have an example of a recent red folder like this?

Hi Crossdog. Yes, the bounce works for equities as well. I personally would rather open a trade in the morning but you can use it for power hour as well. For a long bounce, the breakout trade has already happened, price only pulled back slightly and this is a continuation of the trade. Not exactly sure what you mean by price moves too low - as in it breaks below the cloud? In this case we would have to wait for it to go back above the cloud to look for a long breakout trade or long bounce. If you enter on the 1H, use 4H to filter and entering on the 4H, use daily. @@kevincortese7751 thank you for your reply on equities i'm a swing trader so my hold could be a week or 2 rarely 2 . which is why i thought end of day entry as the candle could slide back under. I look foreword to watching more of your video's

That makes sense cross. If you're trading the 4H candle, look a few mins before the candle closes and execute. However, if the 4H candle close doesn't line up with the close of the market - trade based on the candle close and not the market close if that makes sense. The bounce and breakout trades are only valid right at the open of the candle, not some random time 1 hour into the 4H candle.

Gold does not fall under the news rules so you'll be fine. However, make sure you manage your risk because the price of gold can spike because of news.

Hi Anis. It depends if the trade was opened today or it was rolled over from yesterday. For example, today you start with no open positions. Account is 100k and min equ is 95k. You open a trade and open profit is 6k for a balance of 106k. Trade goes down 5k and you are sitting at 101k. You would be fine here because your account never went below 95k today. However, if at the end of the day your account is 106k and you leave the trade running until tomorrow. Tomorrow you start with 106k, min equ is 101k, trade goes -5k and you hit 101k and lose your account.
