Back test is the easiest part, days of candles are just clicks away but sitting through those trades in real-time seeing your profits corrode away and still able to hold on to it is the tough part.
100 agree man,, also tradingview backtest mode is flawed,,if you are doing top-down approach, and you have a daily candle, the exact point of price when you go down to a H1 is inaccurate,
@@innate7260 Ikr, my experience is that rather than back test candle by candle you go through charts and observe patterns (double tops/bottoms, H&S, flags, buildups(triangles) at supply and demand areas that will lead to high profit low risk trades. Once yu done enough of this observation and is confident that those setups wll net you positive outcome consistently then you go live trade straight away skipping demo with very small position to train your psychology. Too many ppl got false sense of confidence with backtest and demo thinking they have crack the code but ended up blowing numerous accounts of their hard saving on live, simply bc backtest & demo success does not invole emotional factors when real $ is on the line.
@@qwertyui5086 you've nailed it mate,,,and yes i got fooled by my impressive demo account growth, went for a prop firm challenge and totally drowned with the psychology, that was a few months back,,im now bout to go again on a smaller account but with a risk mgmt strategy that i didnt have before,,i do exactly what you said with backtest,,,theres no point trying to replicate real time chart,,look at the patterns and how each pair reacts , and also observe what happens in different sessions ( Asia, London, NY) its quite profound the difference in a setup depending on its session

You are one of the best teachers I have ever encountered on youtube. Breaking matters so clearly making it easy to follow and understand. I shall now go back to your earlier videos and tutorials. Keep up the superb and valuable work.
I'm impressed b this video: the clarity of the recording and the professional style of breaking things down for easy understanding. Thank you Traderceity!
Your style of teaching most closely matches my style of learning. I've watched dozens on dozens of videos, including one group I belong to, and I've gathered more essential, usable info here than in all the others even though they are good.
I wanted to let you know that I found your explanation of price action to be excellent. Your emphasis on the significance of identifying patterns and waiting patiently for the right time to enter the market really resonated with me. I appreciate that you mentioned it's the same pattern over and over again, which is key. I am happy to inform you that I have subscribed to your channel as of today." as of today.
My best lecturer on UA-cam. You have opened my eyes. Thank you very much Sir. God Bless you. Please, sir, make a video on how to trade Volatility index.. Thank you sir.
It does, but in a different context. Tick volume essentially displays the frequency of orders being executed by the broker you have an account with. Since most people trade in a very similar fashion, tick volume is pretty coherent with real volume and overlaps nearly 90 percent.... However, context is important. A lot of tick volume simply means a lot of orders are being executed, but give no hint on how much liquidity is actually behind those orders. For the sake of illustration I'll call it "Fake-Out/Stop-Hunt" even though its rather silly terms... Think of a range that is being engulfed on high volume, high volatility, following an almost immediate price collapse. That is the direct opposite of what you'd expect, because price simply goes straight the other way. This is a very consistent and frequent occurrence. You can observe this behavior on all time-frames, almost everywhere. So generally speaking, strong volume near a breakout does not indicate or increases the probability of a breakout > Continuation if you do not consider specific contextual conditions outside of volume.
I'm glad somebody made a video about this strategy. I've learned this myself in a hard way. I've been teaching this method to my team. Keep doing what you doing! 👌🏽👌🏽
I think we can do mulitple entry for this from the first huge break out. Then if it pull back entry again pull back entry again followed by updating always stop loss.

Thanks I enjoyed your explanation, but how do you take partial profit when you have entered the trade, I don't understand, are you going to stop the trade?
Can you tell me what that indicator is called on there currently? I can’t seem to find it. How you explained it made soo much sense mentally. I would love to incorporate everything you explained here into my trading.
Thank you for this wonderful content - I have a question at the last example - I am afraid with my emotions - does it consider as like a "revenge" trade when trading it the second time? What are your thought process that you're not trading emotionally when setting up the second trade even though your trading plan is still valid?
It's only revenge trading if you go into it emotional trying to get your money back by if you have a good set and your confident about it then go for it. You probably just got in to early
Great content, as always! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (air carpet target dish off jeans toilet sweet piano spoil fruit essay). How can I transfer them to Binance?
Thanks for your eye openers, am begging to enjoy price action trading rather than depending on just indicator. I have a question, pls anyone can answer : is it advisable to trade with price action on m5 knowing the candle patterns aren't that strong?

Great video! The only thing I would add as another indicator is volume. Strong volume near breakout usually increases breakout probability.

You're the best because you combine everything simply. Thanx.
who is the 'supply and demand' indicator by on trading view. I've been trying to add it to my charts but can't find it.
In trading you need a lot of patience because you need to wait a lot for a good trade
I love how you analyze and teach
Does first example works in case of options due to time decay?

Great Man, I appreciate your teaching style.❤️❤️❤️
Sir there is no free indicator of supply and demand?
At 23:25, why didnt we wait to retest and just long from there?
It's situational, retests don't always happen, sometimes the markets will shoot out and you'll miss the move trying to wait on a retest
priceless video thanks
Great value, Fc simplified... thanks alot

Which time frame should we expect retest?
