I've never personally bought a challenge with them, but I've heard good things about them. You get a % of your challenge profits, which is unique from what I remember, but I think it's an extra charge at checkout.
Hi Waseem. FTMO is a great option. Realize that your 10k account is actually a $1k account since that's all the drawdown you have. I would make sure you've backtested your strategy and have at least 100 trades so you know your R:R, etc. For example, if you lose 1R 60% and win 1.2R 40% your EV is -.12. Long-term your strategy is losing and you shouldn't trade until you have at least +.25 EV. Assuming you have a good system, realize that most people fail challenges because of the daily loss, not the overall 10% drawdown. There's no reason to lose 5% in a day. You should risk a max of 5% ($50), but 2% ($20) is better. You have $1,000 in drawdown so you'd have to lose between 20 and 50 trades in a row and hopefully you'll change something by then. Make sure you know how to calculate risk. Last point, if you can don't use any of the FTMO profits for fun money. Your goal should be to be max funded with not only FTMO but many other firms. If you're $1MM funded only risking 0.5%, you'll be risking $5k per trade and you'll have plenty of funds for fun later.
@@kevincortese7751 well. So genorous of you. The way explain trading in single comment is amazing, I really appreciate your guidance. I will share with you my trading details you can then guide me further. Thanks big bro.
Red news events can spike through any trading system. I've been mostly on the 4H and sometimes I'll hold a position a week or two through the weekend and the news. If someone trades the 15M timeframe with a tight stop it would be wise to close the position before news or don't enter right before.
Great advice Kevin, thank you for sharing!

Ichimoku is not good for news events 😢
