That looks awesome, great job. I'm going to follow this method on my own piece and see how it goes!
awesome glad this video can help!

Absolutely LOVE that your intro was only 15 seconds long - no blabbing for hours on end before you get down to work. Thank you!!!
And that piece is stunning. The split screen before/after at the end is genius.

Thank you so much!!
It’s “buff-aaaayy”. Lovely job!
Depends on where you're from...
We say 'Boo Fay'
@@taffykins2745 Where are YOU from? Unless you're at a concert and the singer's name is Jimmy, it's a Buff-aaayy....I dare you to go to any furniture store and as for a buff-ett LOL
Lol!

This video was so extremely helpful! My favorite refurbished video on UA-cam. Not a lot of talk, very informative, and a great view of the entire process. The buffet is beautiful!
Thank you so much Angela!
amazing, you just breathed a new life into this piece of furniture
Thank you!!
The original knobs were the bomb, but clean and sprayed painted. Great job and thx for the tips.
Wow, what a transformation! I love the final look!
celmeetsworld thank you so much!! 💗
Something therapeutic about watching this could be the back round tune
Sounds like a Martini bar that is having balloon painting night
I loved watching how you transformed this beautiful piece of furniture!! Wow! It looks amazing 👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you so much!! 😊
WOW 👏
I need to do the same with my buffet table 😩 and I'm afraid to ruin it 🙈
I have never done anything like this, but this vid is a good introduction... thank you much 😉😇
No problem!! Thank you for watching!!! You just gotta start! Make sure to prep really good as well!!
fantastic transformation and a no nonsense video
Thank you!
Wow it came out BEAUTIFUL!!!! 😍😍😍
Thank you!!!
You done a great job on this. These buffets are getting hard to find. The more i see the black the more its growing on me. I love refinishing these antiques.
Great job Sarah! That looks awesome!
Thank you!! 😊
That color is just beautiful!
Thank you!!!!
I am a Dewalt girl also. I have gone through 4 sanders over 5 years of flipping furniture. Great video!
Thank you!! I am on my third after 2 years!! There great tho!!
Wow this piece looks fantastic and the final finish really pops, I wasn’t sure at first with the brush technique but this looks really good. Thanks for the mineral tip.
Thank you!
I really like how this paint turned out and I think this is the one that will work for what I want. I don’t have an area to use a sprayer which I know a lot of people prefer. But your technique looks really good using the brush and roller combo. Well done!
thank you so much!
This paint is phenomenal. So is your work.
Thank you so much!! ✨
Wow, this is so beautiful. I absolutely love the new hardware. This is very helpful for me because I am getting ready to use Fusion paint on my piece and I was wondering about top coats because I don't like the feel of the finish as it is. Thank you.
So glad this helped you!!!
This piece turned out amazing. I love the hardware you chose.
thank you! I have linked it!
Stunning 🤩
You did an amazing job transforming this piece into something beautiful! I have my grandmother's old set that looks very similar and is need of a refurbishment. Love the color you chose. Thank you for sharing!!

Looks amazing , minimal gold knobs elevate the look!
Thank you!!
ended the natural beauty of the furniture
Disagree. She did a fantastic job elevating this piece. Now it's classy and timeless
Thank you!!
Looks really great! I will be choosing the same color for my antique china cabinet and buffet. It so funny that I’ve been wanting to get some coveralls like yours!
Thank you so much!! & sadly mine ripped so much I can’t wear them any more! I’m in the market for some new ones!!!
Beautiful peice to start with. Very sharp looking.
Lydia Kinnaman thank you!!!
So pretty... I have an old piece like this that could use modernization!! Thanks for the tips! Its a beauty!
No problem!! Thank you!!
Beautiful.
Thank you!!
It turned out beautifully!❤ one tip. Always clean the f sand, grease and grime can go through the porous of grain when you sand first.
Wow! You did such a beautiful job. I am loving the color and the drawer pulls as they compliment each other quite well. 👏👏👏👏❤️❤️
Thank you so much!!!

Very nice! I just started same project, on almost the same piece of furniture- which we had converted into a double sink vanity🙂
Supper cool! This is on my list to try one day!!
It's "Boo-fay", sweetie. Absolutely gorgeous! Well done indeed !!!
Thank you!!
Te quedo excelente!! Felicitaciones!. Saludos! desde Perú 🇵🇪.

Genna25 no problem!! I’m glad you liked it! 😊
Felicitări!👏💕
Sarah, I have a piece almost identical to this and am going to do what you did. Thanks for the video. And I happen to like the music. Your new friend from Pittsburgh.
Hi Max thanks for watching! I’m glad you got inspired!
Fabulous! 🇬🇧
What a handsome transformation
Thank you!!
Beautiful, great job 👏👍👌
Thank you!!
Nice job, great finish
Thank you so much!!
Thank you Sarah ! I have a similar project on a piece of furniture from the 70's, your video is super helpful just to know the steps. I will probably have to find another paint as "Fusion" does not seem to be available in Europe (hello from there) unless you pay as much as the paint itself for shipping. But very nice result still.
Hi, thank you for watching! Im not sure if you have benjamin moore paint in Europe but it is always a really nice paint. I just posted a new video using it. The process is a little different as you have to let the paint dry for 16 hours before adding another coat. Hope this helps!!
Beautiful !!!!
It looks amazing!
Thank you!
Ohhhh I need one of those old knobs! Cant find anywhere
Great job! And good find!
Thank you!! 😊
That’s a beautiful sideboard. I have a very similar one along with the buffet, the dining table chairs and hutch. I like what you did but I have so many pieces to do.
Did You start?:)
@@mateuszmat244 not yet. I take care of my parent. I don't get paid so I'm having a hard time getting what I need
@@biddibee3526 I understand, stay strong. Good luck 👍
Wow!!! 🤗 molto bello! Bravissima!!! 👌👌👌🙋🏼♀️☺️
Your overalls are super cute 😍
Thank you so much!!!
Just bought this paint and top coat based on this video! This paint looks really nice and can't wait to try it. It's the perfect color. I hope my project turns out as good as yours did!
Shannon Roseland that’s so exciting!! I’m so happy to hear this!! 😊
Nice work love that colour 👍
Glad you like it
Beautiful 😍 I love it!

♨️ its absolutely beautiful, and you taught me a few things I wasn't sure about thank you!!!
Thank you so much! And I’m happy you learned something!!
Beautiful! Thank you for the video 💕
Thanks for watching!!
Great video, awesome results! It looked so classy!!!!
Background music - it was killing me, and I kept having to mute and unmute. Just my opinion of course, but it was painful LOL
Fabulous job x
Thank you!
Simply beautiful...

Thank you!!
Beautiful
Video is awesome, but can you tell me exactly where I can find a list of the products you used. I got the Mineral Chalk Paint, TSP ? Thank you in advance
Looks fantastic 💜🕉
Thank you so much!!
It’s pronounced “buff-a.” 😉 Love the paint you chose.
I felt so bad for her that she kept saying it wrong, I had to give her a 'like.'
Thank you! That’s how I was thought in school 🤷🏻♀️
I think it depends where you're from. I was taught "boo-fay" 🤣
Buff-eh if you're Canadian 🇨🇦
Buff-ay
I still think that the primer could have covered the damaged areas . But it’s looking good great job
Great video! If you were doing a breakfast table, would you still use the finishing oil as a top coat or something else like polyurethane?
I would recommend use a polyurethane!
Hi Sarah, I love the way this turned out. how much paint did it take and how many coats of paint ? It looks amazing
Hi, thank you so much! I ended up doing 3 coats of paint and used left them half a pint of paint!
Very very nice job i like it 👌
Thanks a lot 😊
I had my oak kitchen cabinets “professionally “ painted Benjamin Moore Wrought Iron. It didn’t work out as there are nicks everywhere.
I purchased Liberty Blue Fusion Paint and used the back of a cabinet door and painted with a foam roller and then have applied one coat of glossy top coat. The feel of the liberty blue feels more course than other fusion samples: Willowbank, Midnight Blue, and Seaside. Since I’m painting over the Wrought Iron I want there to be a glossy look and feel. Wish I could send a photo. Any ideas on making the Liberty Blue not so streaky?
Great video! I just bought a buffet table which needs TLC. Can you please let me know what brush you used. Thank you.
Thank you so much!! Some of my favourite brushes are zibra or staalmeester!
I wanted to attach photos to show how my project turned out nice, so they say, lol. I don't know how. 😊
Love it.
gerda vd Linde thank you!!
Is there a link to the brush and roller you used? I have a hutch to paint as well. You did such a great job on this piece.
Hi Laura, thank you so much! I don’t have a link but I used a staalmeester paint brush and a micro fibre paint brush!
Microfibre roller*
gorgeous
Thank you!
Looks great! What brand and kind of roller did you use? How thick was the nap on the roller to get that smooth finish? Thanks. 🙂
Nice!
Thanks!
before was perfect
That looks amazing!!! Nice Job! What kind of brush do you use? I have the purdy ones from lowes and they always leave streaks
:( But yours seems to be so smooth!
Also, i see you dont use primer? is there a reason? Thank you so much for your videos!
I like to use purdy paint brushed and at the time I didn’t not prime this piece but I do now and I like to use a shelic based primer! I share it in my more recent videos!! Hope this helps
I love it
Thank you!! ✨
Love this. I have one to paint like this. I have white primer on it but I want to paint black now after seeing yours. What was it that you used on it after painting it? Beautiful! Thank you.
Thank you so much! I used fusions stain and finishing oil in the colour natural as a top coat! It really soaks in the paint and gives it a rich look!
lt so nice ty
I think this looks way better than it did before. You did a great job! I don't know if I missed this info in the video, but how long did you wait to add the doors after putting on the clear finishing oil?
Thank you so much! I waited about an hour! Just want sure to wipe your figure makes as the oil drys!
@@furnitureflipbysarah You're welcome
Wondering what's better, chalk paint and a wax over it or mineral paint with that oil?
Just depends what you will be using the piece for and what you want to use! Lately I use Benjamin Moore advance line! You can pick your finish which has build in top coat!!
Gorgeous, what do you use for a brush oncthis peice.
I used a staalmeester brush!
It's a French word meaning sideboard where food items are placed. The French say boo-Fay, English pronunciation is buh-Fay. Simple.
👏👏👏👏bellissimo
