Lovely ! Being a craftlover I enjoy watching all your videos. Pls keep on posting such excellent videos. Btw, we too had plates with same design but purchased back in 1978. Pleasant Surprise to find the design once again here.
QUESTION..... I decoupaged 2 clear glass plates {I did it on the bottom side of the plate where you can see it through from the top}... However, on ONE of the plates, for some reason I got a few air bubbles. I was wondering if you could tell me how I can get the bubbles out. TIA
Hey, yeah when decoupaging on a circular object... it generally is quite tricky... and you tend to get a few bubbles if the napkin isn’t stretched properly.. sometimes even after that tiny bubbles appear. But a good decoupage glue tends to get rid of the bubbles eventually...
Thank you Prema. I have shown a way to wall mount plates in another video...here's the link.. m.ua-cam.com/video/F5k-rVvnfRM/v-deo.html You could get the shown hook/hanger at any local hardware store
I decoupage over acrylic paints allllll the time! ALSO, you can make your own chalk paint by mixing baking soda with your paint. I'm sure you can find the right ratio of paint to baking soda online... Probably even UA-cam!
ruby, for glass/ceramic only chalk paints are recommended.. to see how you could easily turn acrylic paint into chalk paint please watch the link below m.ua-cam.com/video/c1WPnMg7QoE/v-deo.html
Yvette, this is a decoupage paper.. that has thickness around that of a magazine page. But if you want to decoupage card stock.., you could dip it in water for a few seconds to soften it and then paste it.. you’d have to be very careful though! Happy Crafting:)

Hi...What varnish do you use for your projects?
Hi there! Beautiful work my concern is from where to get the stand for plates or how to hang them
What glue are you using
What was the last thing you used for coating? Water based what?
Varnish
But for tissues we will have to work on the white base only ?
