Hello crafty friends! Since I filmed this video I found a product for decoupaging that is way better than any of the decoupage mediums out there. Polyvine heavy duty wood varnish can be used as a decoupage adhesive as well as a varnish. Don't let the word wood fool you, it can be used on all surfaces. I'll leave a link below, so you can easily find it. And if you're going to be decoupaging on something shiny like glass or ceramic, make sure you coat with Polyvine multi surface lacquer first so your paint won't scratch, chip or peel. You can also use this product as a decoupage adhesive. I have never tried decoupage before and have a beautiful box that I plan on keeping my garden seeds in. Over the holidays I’m going to try this. I have some beautiful flower napkins. Thank you love Juliana from the U.K. I’m off to watch a few more of your videos now ❤
Hi Juliana! Thank you and I'm happy you enjoyed this video! I'm so excited for you. Decoupage quickly becomes an addiction! My husband is afraid to sit still for too long, might wind up with a flower decoupaged to his forehead..lol... If you are doing all sides of the box, it's best to let the side you just worked on dry before turning it over to do another side. If you lay it on the side you just decoupaged before it's dry, the paper will lift. So keep that in mind. It will take a little longer to do your project, but it will be flawless. Let me know you have any questions, I'm always here for you. Have a very merry Christmas. If you're going to keep this box outside, I would suggest using Polyvine Extreme as your final varnish. It's made for exterior use and is waterproof, stain and uv resistant. It's also water based so there is no smell. It's a great product. I'll leave you a safe link. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖🎄🎅❄ Polyvine Heavy Duty Extreme: decoupagenapkins.com/products/polyvine-heavy-duty-extreme-varnish?sca_ref=3969749.C8aAXEduCt
I ❤ this tutorial as I’m new to Decopauge and I think it’s going to really help I’m waiting for napkins I’ve ordered. And I’m from Agawam , Ma. Luv your channel 😊
Hi there Witchy Woman. So glad to here that you loved this video. Once you get the hang of it, you'll love doing it this way. I would suggest doing a couple practice runs before actually trying it on your project. Get a cheap board and some cheap napkins from the dollar store and practice on that a few times. If you don't put enough water, you will have trouble pulling up the plastic. So drench it! If you need any help at all, let me know. I'm here for you. I'd love to see pictures of what you create. I have a few followers that email me pictures and I absolutely love to see them. Thanks so much for watching and taking your time to send me a message all the way from Agawam, MA. Happy to hear that you love my channel and can't wait to hear more from you 😍😊 📧My email: masoncreationsetc@yahoo.com

I got that picture from decoupagenapkins.com It's rice paper, and is called Wedding Day. The stock number is #R1537 and it's 2.95 per sheet. Here's their link. Good luck from one witch to another 😉 Let me know if you need me at all 💖 decoupagenapkins.com/
Missed you last week, glad to see you today. Short and sweet but informative. The napkin you chose was perfect for that round object. Nice change from square and rectangle. I had occasions where after smoothing the napkin, it was hard to get off; pulling some of the napkin off and creating tears. What did I do wrong! Maybe you can finish decorating that plaque and show us how you did it. It’s too pretty not to finish. I know you’ll create something very beautiful! 😊
Hello my friend! I absolutely fell in love with that napkin, and yes, round was kinda fun for a change. If you had trouble removing the plastic from the napkin, my best guess would be that you didn't use enough water. The water is what makes everything slide around. Try using more water. Remember! Water is your friend when using this method. Were you doing it on a flat surface? This method can be a little difficult on rounded surfaces. I am definitely going to finish that plaque. It's already in the planning stages. I was just doing a demo, but I loved the way that napkin turned out 😆 I can't not make something out of it.

Varnish-Polyvine Heavy Duty Wood Varnish: decoupagenapkins.com/products/polyvine-heavy-duty-wood-varnish?sca_ref=3969749.C8aAXEduCt
Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖🎄🎅❄

Happy to hear that you love my channel and can't wait to hear more from you 😍😊

Love your tutorial! I love how you explain why. You are a very good teacher.
Hi again Dawn! I love reading your messages. Thanks so much for your kind words. And thanks again for watching and sending me messages 😊💖
