I smiled when she said that she's more interested in the wrapping paper than the gift. My grandmother never reused the paper, but she loved collecting different papers. As a child, NONE of us were ever able to just tear into a gift flinging paper everywhere, we had to use Granddaddy's pocket knife and gently cut it where the tape sealed the paper !

Tánia Villagrán seriously!! If someone disliked this it’s maybe because they’re frustrated creatives? That’s something so tragic, in the modern era it can be hard to carve out time for creative expression but it’s such a valuable thing to do I believe ignoring it brings humans deep unhappiness that leeches out onto strangers and society as a whole. There’s so many miserable people, and their hobby seems to be spreading the misery. Her work, it may not be something I’d put in my home but it’s an aesthetic opinion and I can see her work and appreciate her eye and her craftsmanship. She’s a real artisan and just because I don’t like decorating with flowers doesn’t mean her work is bad!! Truth be told my second watch has me wanting all the bowls they show 😂 I’d love to know where she sources a lot of her stuff papers! I see she’s got a LOT of clippings and she saves wrapping paper but there’s those Japanese papers that seem to be the majority of the backgrounds and those would be a ton of fun to play with!

I've asked the same question but with no reply from the artist. The only thing I noticed was the varnish name on the bucket that's on the table during her video. I cannot find this brand in the United States. It seems to be either a European or Canadian varnish.

Thank you and GOD bless.
Dear Carol you are welcome to share. You might also get some inspiration from my film called "Faces" and a film from gallerie Espen where you can see how you can use the paper also in paintings. Good Luck! Viveca
Vivica, I am just fascinated by your art. Do you use a special type of varnish for the outside of the glass bowl? And also you just used regular glue for the paper? Thanks so much!!!
I absolutely adore your beautiful artwork! I too am interested in knowing what type of varnish you use. Would scrapbook paper work well for this type of art project?
Как шикарно смотрится на стеклянной поверхности!
Beautiful artwork Viveca! 😍 I wish my attempts at the under glass decoupage were at least in a quarter as successful as yours ❤
I loved everything about this from the Art to the tranquil music that pulls you into the Art work, Beautifully done.

Truly beautiful, thank you for sharing your skill and the processes you used.
What varnish do you use please
It is a water based gloss varnish. Susan Dalton
Beautiful! You inspire me!
Stunning work! Your aesthetic is so beautiful. It is amazingly generous of you to share this technique. Thank you.
🍃🍀🍄The beauty of it all! I so enjoyed this. Ty for sharing this most creative art form of the common people. Those who knew that expression is limited only by a limited mind. Your hands speak what your heart see's and it becomes visible to the eye! I adore the language of art! You express it very well! Subbed!🍃🌺🍃
Just beautiful. What varnish did you use?
I've asked the same question but with no reply from the artist. The only thing I noticed was the varnish name on the bucket that's on the table during her video. I cannot find this brand in the United States. It seems to be either a European or Canadian varnish.
@@alleyarnez8614 you need a water based varnish as the solvent based ones yellow. Susan Dalton
Brian Dalton .... thank you so much for replying with this information. I now know what type of varnish to use for the right results.
Absolutely magnificent! Thank you for sharing!
How did she varnish it?
Any wate soluble varnish should work. You can do 50/50 water and Elmer's white glue. You could even go for glossy Mod Podge.

Can I ask where you get the extra large clear glass bowls from? Looking everyone here in the United states with zero luck. All I can find are heavy ones used for serving purposes. Thank you.
Stunning work ✨ So talented!!
Hi, Where did you buy your glass bowls? Thanks!
And, also the papers ... thanks!
