This man should have 10 times the subscribers. Awesome job picking out and comparing similar bourbons to give us unlucky statesiders an idea of what we're missing. Thanks for your efforts!
Agreed! Bourbon Bill's fresh. I think most people, like myself, want to watch reviews to see if they want to purchase and Bourbon Bill provides just that. He get's down to business and I feel like I'm sitting there next to him at the fireplace while I tilt back in my recliner and glen. 🥃
Kc12 is the pound for pound Champ in the 65 Doll Hair age stated 12 category. One trick with the KC12 that I have found mellows the peanut (which i actually like btw- but that's a different video) is to decant the whole bottle the way our grandfathers used to. All that air gets in there and smooths out those ester molecules. Great review as usual. Cheers
Can’t argue with you there. KC 12 kills it in the value/quality game. I’ll have to try the decanter method this particular bottle I have had a good bit of oak well blended in but I’ve had other KC12 bottles that were chock full of peanuts lol

Thanks for the feedback. Once we hit 1k subscribers maybe I can upgrade some equipment. All my bourbon is in a small closet so I can’t provide a sweet backdrop yet
I really love your reviews. Just wanted to see you get up there quickly, so you don’t stop reviewing. Many years ago, I asked a friend why my items wasn’t selling on eBay. He told me it looks amateurish and untrustworthy. After I made the items look professional, they sold quickly. I feel, seeing your UA-cam, reminds me of my experience.
Those comparisons were absolute *chef kiss* perfection. Factoring in the price/availability, KC12 is pretty damn appealing. But in the end, SHAME ON YOU WILD TURKEY! We should at least have that option.
Haha thanks John. Yeah KC12 was real close but I have seen a lot of bottle variation in them so it didn’t win. But yes Shame on WT for not at least selling this as an LE or something here
@@bourbonbill It's sold in Japan as well, I assume the writing is from where your bottle was sold. It's just the standard legalese, who imported it, what's in the bottle, don't drink while pregnant etc.
Haven’t tried the GTS 2022 I heard it was good this year. This was very good but I preferred the oakier profile on RR13 batch 3 but I like a lot of oak I can see how this would be better for some people. Compared to GTS though I think it’s too low proof to punch with the big dogs
That’s awesome I had heard some cases got back into the US or never left somehow. If you are a turkey fan I would grab it for that price but if you got a RR13 then you really have nothing to worry about
If you paid msrp for both the weller and blantons yeah the wt 12yr is 150 here in the states quite a bit cheaper overseas. I’ve seen the WT 12 year on secondary for $200 or less so it’s a fair trade
Good suggestion Dave. I haven’t seen or know anyone who had the WT13 father and son. I think it’s lower proof though. If I come across it I will certainly review it

The US get countless special releases, the international market appreciates WT looking after us on at least one special release.
Haha touché
Excellent review and comparisons! You always go above and beyond to give us honest comparisons with potential alternatives! Thx 🙏
Thanks Brantley! I try lol
Love how you always do comparisons with the bottle review. Good stuff! Definitely an underrated channel. Keep goin 💯
Thanks appreciate it. I try to give more
Black Velvet 12 would crush the crap out of this, if it existed.
Haha black velvet 12 sounds like a alibaba sex toy add
@@bourbonbill HAHAHA
I have a friend in Canada Bill. I'll try and grab a WT12
Haha thanks Mike no idea if it’s there or in Japan I just know from PA the cheapest international flight is Canada lol
What a rare bird! Sounds delicious but I'm glad you did thr comparison my fomo isn't as high anymore
Thanks and it sure is rare here and delicious but if you land a few other similar bottles no fomo lol

It's about $99 here in Korea and readily available. I have four bottles that I'm bringing back with me next month.
My man snag one for me that’s a great price lol. Is the writing on it Korean? I assumed it was Japanese but could have been wrong

Great review! All these sound great.
Thanks James. All were good the real surprise of the night was the Knob creek
Nice and enjoy, hopefully WT will do something nice for the home country 🤷
Haha yeah for sure I guess one could argue we got the RR13
Thanks and like someone said we got RR13 so we technically won lol
I recieved a sample of this and gts 2022. Ive been sharing both around the best i can. The vast consensus has been that the turkey was better.

@@bourbonbill the gts just completely lacks balance and is pretty one note. Everybody i gave a sample to was a proof hound.
@@LeatherDaddy97 I doubt I’ll get to try it unless I win the Pa lottery for it. But that’s a shame for GTS that’s supposed to be better than that haha
@@bourbonbill comes down to each person in the end
I’m jealous brother
Haha hey don’t be I only got a small taste we should all be jealous of my buddy who actually got the bottle lol
Pack your bags Rita
Haha she said No
Several Retailers were selling this bottle in Louisville recently $150 ish
That’s awesome I had heard some cases got back into the US or never left somehow. If you are a turkey fan I would grab it for that price but if you got a RR13 then you really have nothing to worry about
BB you think it's worth trading Weller 107 and Blanton for WT12 ?

Nice review. Maybe review the WT 12 versus WT 13?
Good suggestion Dave. I haven’t seen or know anyone who had the WT13 father and son. I think it’s lower proof though. If I come across it I will certainly review it
