I see David Row just today put out an EDC episode. Even *changed the name of the channel* to go along with it! Rather than creating a separate non-whiskey channel, with the name change, he seems to be broadening the scope of his already-popular channel.

Kershaw 1540 Stays very sharp and works like new.

Irresponsible? Mea culpa. 😂 Loved the 121.5. Got the 119.5 a couple weeks ago and was sorely disappointed. Funky musty oak, almost like brett taint in wine. I poured some tonight and it’s really good! Still taste that oak note, but it’s integrated and the confectionery sugars, cherry and vanilla are popping. Seems like a totally different whiskey. Very good.

Not sure if you’re ready to succumb to your fate and carry an EDC bag/dad bag/murse, but I got a 2.5l Tomtoc T-33 about 4-5 months ago and love it. Don’t even carry it as a sling much, the main thing is just being able to grab it and know my wallet, keys, power bank, sunglasses, etc, are all in one place ready to go when I want to leave the house is great.

Bill - we love ya man- but maybe a separate channel for this stuff? Some of us love bourbon and your bourbon videos but don’t have the need to carry a gun oof

A couple channels just got the new 700 ml Woodford Double *Double* Oak. MSRP $200, only 90 proof. It's the standard WRDO put into a barrel for 2 more years, with national distribution. Think I heard secondary is 3 something; I guess it's true a sucker's born every minute.

Great video, Bill. I agree with them all. Some things I have never seen before. I'm sure everyone could add something to this list. If i were to add something, it would be cash. I think this is a great change of pace and something you should consider from time to time. I'm not associated at all with him, but there is a podcast, very popular 1 about manliness. I'm not going to say the total title. You can have short interviews , book reviews, product reviews. You did some today. I'm sure you have knowledge on things we don't know about. Please share with the class.

My guy! I have a 9mm LCR, no need to buy different ammo specifically for my revolver makes sense to me. Its in the rotation but i carry the Sig p365 more. favorite flashlight at the moment is a Wuben X2, quite the chonky hunk of titanium. The DamnedDesign Oni XL is probably my favorite knife to carry at the moment & i always have a titanium TwoSun pry bar in my bag for opening cans + bottles. Great video Bill! Hopefully you can score the new single barrel releases from Four Rose this month and do a review on them. They are all 100 proof and only 50 doll hairs. (OBSF,OESK and OESO) are the 3 new bottles.

I carry the streamlight in my pocket everyday. I almost always have a Spyderco clipped to my back pocket. Interestingly, I am carrying my lil Native today. Good everyday items. I also carry a Classic Swiss Army knife on my key chain (sissors, tweezers, toothpick, and blade).

Just heard on another channel that one of the 2025 new releases is a straight bourbon from Woodford called Chocolate Whisper Redux. The TTB label is showing a proof of 139.4! Supposed to have notes of chocolate and espresso. I wonder what that's about.

A fan of the Spyderco Lil Native huh. Nice choice. Ive had so many pocket knives over the years from $5 to $5000, but I think we are currently in a sweet spot for affordable pocket knives. $75 can get you a GREAT every day tool. Im a big fan of Vosteed and Kizer.

I guess I'm lukewarm on this change. I've noticed a subtle decrease in quality on the KC barrel picks available in my area, some of which have been sitting at the stores collecting dust for nearly two years now. I got a KC barrel pick here recently and two last year, and honestly I wished I had spent the extra $15-20 and just got bottles of KC 12 instead. And don't even get me started on the lack of value on Booker's! The distilleries have lost their competitiveness with the boom, when any bourbon tater bro will just throw money at the latest release bc some mouthpiece on social media told them to before they disappear off shelves! It's sort of like what's happened with insurance. When it's government mandated and the businesses just expect money coming in, it stifles innovation and causes continual price increases.

Glad I stashed away a WHOLE bunch of bottles from the store pick I chose and love dearly!! Amazing for a 120 proof and at $51.00 a bottle!!! Refuse to pay $90 people, please don't!
