I think the 1910 is pretty good. I think I might have liked it better than Woodford double oaked. I thought the 1920 was okay. I tried one single barrel at a bar and thought it was really good. I don't know if it justified the $90 price tag though. Old Forester just isn't a brand that I can get excited about.

So I suppose this ECBP *Toasted* could technically be considered "double oaked." But what do you think about an ECBP double oaked that's finished, instead, in a *charred* barrel? Potentially better result than finishing in a toasted barrel as what was done here?

I hadn't thought about it, but I think you're right. THH shouldn't be part of the BTAC. It should instead be more like Stagg JR. ~$70 and released 2-4 times a year.

I think these are definite "try before you buy" bottles. I've had theee different store picks of this bottle. Two were extremely underwhelming (8 year and 10 year), and one was pretty solid (9 yeear). Not sure what think, but it's hard to justify the risk at $95.

I have a 125 proof 2024 CH and two RR15. Having had both tho not side by side, the CH is not as complex as RR15 and feels younger as it is. RR15 has more beautiful antique oak notes and more flavors coming out but CH is delicious on its own.
