Help!! I’m in the uk please help… I’m 4.5 hours from Tesla service centre!! Thankyou
I get a battery cover open error when re-installing a battery pack that had U029 error. All cells/modules are balanced. What does the car look for when giving batter cover open error? Is it a mechanical switch? Optical sensor? other? BMS reset was done before install. This is on a P85 2013 model s
For me it’s greyed out and it’s says waiting and I have to BMS A027 error it’s also in limp mode and it won’t regen. It’s a 2019 standard plus. Luckily it’s still in warranty.
Hi, how are you so my car model three keeps giving me That the high voltage battery temperature is high. How can I cool it down knowing that the contactors are open and the AC compressor won’t turn on unless Contactors are closed
I suspect there is an issue with your thermal system (perhaps air in the coolant, for example). The car can cool itself even without AC. But the real question is why are you even keeping the hr car on? Just turn it off until you are ready to work on it. Park it in the shade and battery will be fine.
Correction: if you have older firmware that doesn’t allow you to enter the service mode, then you will not see the new HV battery diagnostics screen either.

Just got the Dreaded BMS A0207 and BMS_A170. Just happened randomly about a week after the last update. I went into service and for the internal isolation resistance dot... its not even on. its just greyed out. I put in a service request via the app yesterday and waiting to hear back. very frustrating. On 2024.26.7- 2023 Model 3 LR- With under 5,000 miles
@@faisalmohammed4248 I had booked a service appointment via app- which was not gonna take place until October. I called the service center nearest me and i was able to take the car in and drop it off (8/26). They have had the car now over a week. Still waiting for my repair to complete. I got a 21 Model Y as a loaner. Had an estimate for a pick up 9/6- app has no new update so still waiting----

This is what was done: Repair Notes: Verified customer concern, "Customer states: Range - Acceleration and top speed reduced messages / power reduced" Diagnosed and Replaced Rear Drive Unit Inverter. Vehicle is now operating as expected. Correction: Diagnosis: High Voltage Circuit Integrity Check Correction: Inverter - Rear Drive Unit (3DU) (Remove & Replace) - Remove and Replace My car is under warranty, so it was $0.00

In my M3 2021 Contactors are showing Open and HV battery state: Fault
Due to which car is not going into drive mode, any suggestions. Thanks

Can you help with a BMS_u008 (acceleration and top speed reduced) and BMS_w172 (Car may not restart)???

I have external isolation issues it was the inverter I swapped it but unable to program it
You need Toolbox access and experience using it. Programming rear inverter is not really a DIY task.

Hello, the service menu detected the internal insulation resistance of 770k ohm. Is the external resistance of 770k ohm serious?
770 kohms is too low, should be ideally about 4000 on the model 3/Y.

My tesla all components are green but the external isolation value is yellow and reads 760K ohms , internal green but also 760K ohms,

The internal have white collar with no numbers at all
