Polishing 17 Year Old Headlights To Perfection - GLASS LIKE

One of the best headlight restoration kits I have used is the Rain-X Headlight Restoration Kit. This kit polished these headlights on this 2003 Lexus to perfection. There was little to no flaws left over as with other headlight kits I have used before.
The kit included 1500 grit, 3200 grit, and 4000 grit rounded sandpaper discs that attached to a drill attachment included in the kit. Headlight polish was included as well as a foam polishing pad attachment. A headlight sealant wipe is used to seal in the headlight restoration. Start wet sanding with the 1500 grit and work your way to the 3200 grit and 4000 grit making sure the sanding marks are uniform at each stage. Rinse and dry the headlight and use the headlight polish to shine the headlight. Finish up with the sealant wipe and do not over apply the sealant.
